Position Purpose: Responsible for developing and conducting training and quality auditing programs for the Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) and Medical Record Audit Programs for Fidelis Care.
***The Clinical Coding Auditor & Trainer position is primarily remote with a small travel expectation on an annual basis. Candidates must be willing to travel to New York twice a year to be considered for the position. ***
Responsibilities:
Conducts auditing of work performed by staff and present findings and recommendation for areas of improvement to management
Under minimal supervision responsible for all aspects of auditing projects that are broad in nature and require originality and/or ingenuity
Assists with revisions to Policy and Procedure and/or work process development
Conducts training needed analysis to determine specific training needs for clinical and coding staff
Identifies, selects, or develops appropriate training programs, including the selection or design of appropriate training aids
Maintains records of auditing and training activities and employee progress
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
Highly Preferred Skills:
Inpatient Coding Experience
At least 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting
RN, PA, MD, APRN, DO or MBBS license required
Strong written communication skills
Education/Experience: Associate’s degree in Nursing or equivalent experience. 4+ years of DRG and/or Medical Record Audit experience. One year of experience in a clinical setting or acute care hospital. Training or auditing experience in a managed care or healthcare setting.
Required License/Certification: RN, PA, MD, APRN, DO or MBBS license required
Preferred License/Certification: Valid/Current CPC or CIC Certification, through APPC desired or CCS through AHIMA; RHIA/RHIT Credentials desired.

As a Lean Change agent you will help drive the Lean transformation within the Wilton Factory, with a focus on embedding Lean philosophy where people are engaged to improve processes continuously to boost business impact. You will support and guide teams and leaders with implementing the daily management system, coach them in developing problem solving techniques and Lean leaders behavior. Together with line management you build internal capabilities to improve processes and results by cross functional teams on a daily basis. You act as a role model for the lean way of working and respectfully challenge the status quo.

Role and Responsibilities
In alignment with the accountable business manager, as a change agent you will:

- Be role model in adapting Lean principles and coach on Lean behavior
- Support business impact initiatives (e.g. A3's, 4C's, Breakthrough Initiatives, etc.)
As a Lean team member, you will:
- Share and inform the team about deployment progress, bottle-necks and help requests
- Support your colleagues pro-actively in the deployment or building each other's expertise
- Contribute to improvements to the ASML Lean standards
- Challenge your colleagues adapting the Lean principles in our own team
- Improve our daily operations and participates in strategic steps
- Be a partner towards the business in driving for Lean improvements
Education and Experience
As a Continuous Improvement/Lean Engineer, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering or Supply Chain environment, preferably with line management experience (team lead/group lead)
- 3+ years of experience coaching, deploying and applying lean in Manufacturing and/or a Logistics environment
- 3+ years of experience in Basic project management skills
- Expert knowledge of lean, process improvement and quality management tools
- Practical application of problem-solving methodologies (e.g. Lean A3, Six Sigma tools, etc.)
- Experience in Hoshin Kanri (Strategy Deployment) and VSM (Value Stream Mapping) would be a plus
- Proven skills in change management

**A typical day may include:**
+ Serve as the expert in disruptive learning technologies, collaborating with broader L&LD team members to draw insights and identify opportunities to leverage new learning tools and technology.
+ Maintains up-to-date knowledge of developments learning technologies that comprise a contemporary digital learning environment
+ Provides input into the overall L&LD learning strategy.
+ Partners with supervisor and broader learning innovation team to source/design and deliver custom learning solutions.
+ Delivers in person instructor led training and virtual instructor led facilitation, company wide at multiple levels of employee population from individual contributors to People Managers.
+ Facilitates learning courses and programs such as Regeneron's People Manager learning (New Manager, ABCs of Leadership, etc).
+ Monitors learner feedback to determine gains in knowledge and skills.
+ Research and vet new learning technologies and identify implementation opportunities with L&LD team to drive learner engagement.
+ Provides LMS support, including inclusion of courses and recommending system improvements.
+ Monitor external environment for emerging capabilities that align with business priorities; evaluate potential, implementation feasibility and create proposals to pilot new learning technology and/or innovative approaches to learning
