The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Configuration and Change Management Specialist to join our Sustaining Engineering, Tools, and Test team. This role is essential in managing and continuously improving our engineering change process, ensuring that product updates are accurately documented, evaluated, approved, and communicated across departments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering documentation, bills of materials (BOMs), and change control processes, and will serve as a key liaison between engineering, operations, and procurement.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end engineering change process, from request to implementation.
- Collaborate with operations to understand and document change requests arising from build issues or process improvements.
- Work closely with sustaining engineering to capture and formalize design updates for improvement activities.
- Create, track, and maintain Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Coordinate and facilitate change review meetings to drive decision-making and ensure timely execution.
- Track and document approvals, rejections, and implementation timelines.
- Communicate approved changes to relevant stakeholders, including operations, procurement, and quality teams.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date product documentation, including BOMs, drawings, and specifications.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve change management workflows and tools.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in configuration management, change control, or a related role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and how engineering changes impact procurement and production.
- Strong understanding of BOM structures and engineering documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with SolidWorks PDM or similar product data management systems is a big plus.
- Knowledge of ISO standards or other quality management systems.

We are seeking an experienced Configuration Management Lead to support a future program supporting an Intelligence customer and their National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC) enterprise. The CM Lead will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), as well as managing hardware and software inventories, licensing, policy documentation, and systems libraries. Job Summary
The Technology Product Consultant – Configuration Management Specialist is an experienced mid to senior level technical role performing various tasks related to Configuration Management with in IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security. Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $107,400- 153,400 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.

The successful candidate will lead all configuration management (CM) activities, ensuring compliance with business policies, industry standards, and best practices. They will develop new, or improve existing, processes relevant to CM as well as be responsible to oversee, or participate in, the maintenance and/or correction of existing product data.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement configuration management plans, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee the configuration control process, including change management, status accounting, and audits.
- Ensure all configuration management activities comply with industry standards such as SAE EIA-649B, ISO 10007, and AS9100 Rev D.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to maintain product configuration integrity across systems (i.e. ERP, PDM, SW repository).
- Manage the Product Data Management (PDM) database and ensure accurate documentation of product configurations.
