Job Description:
Searching for a senior technical professional to join the Managed Operational Support Services (OSS) team as an Enterprise Systems Administrator.
Responsibilities for this position include maintaining the virtual desktop infrastructure and microsoft domain services supporting federal telecommunications programs in accordance with established standards, policies, procedures and configuration guidelines.
The Enterprise Systems Administrator will also monitor and maintain system hardware and application performance to meet program requirement Service Level Agreements (SLA).
The position ensures that system hardware, software, and related procedures adhere to the system's approved and controlled architecture and configuration. This position will configure and manage system authentication and access control algorithms and execute procedures for system configuration updates to support production builds.
Specific responsibilities will include:
• Windows domain services, active directory, DHCP, and Client.
• Experienced with advanced group policy implementation and testing.
• Windows PowerShell, script development, and script administration.
• Manage VMware Horizon Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) deployments using Windows and Red Hat instant clone desktops.
• Understanding of AppVols and application management.
• Monitor and maintain remote geographically distributed hyperconverged VMware vSphere infrastructures utilizing vSAN.
• Strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Resolve problems using internal and external groups, as needed, to correct trouble within the environment.
• Basic linux system knowledge.
• Ability to obtain a public trust security clearance.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT Security or related field, and minimum 4 years related experience; or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT Security or related field, and minimum 6 years related experience. Or in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
5 - 8 years of Microsoft Windows domain services experience in active directory, DHCP, Client, and Group Policy management.
5 years of Microsoft Windows Public Key Infrastructure support
5 years of VMware Horizon virtual windows or red hat desktop support with desktop pools, instant clones, golden images.
1 year of VMware Horizon Virtual Desktop Infrastructure support with vCenter, ESXi, Connection Server, Unified Access Gateway (UAG), AppVols, Horizon Administration.
1 year of command line experience in Linux.
Preferred Additional Skills:
• Experience with Cisco UCS servers, UCS fabrics.
• Basic SQL administration.
• Experience working with Bash, and Ansible.
• Experience with Microsoft ADFS.
• Strong understanding of Identity Management (IdM) utilizing SAML.
• Knowledge of CIS, NIST, STIG compliance.

We are currently seeking a Systems Administration Specialist to join our team in Newport News, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administration Specialist to join our hybrid agile delivery team. This individual will be instrumental in providing technical and business solutions to multiple projects in a Hybrid Agile work environment. The System Administration Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring our systems are secure and compliant with all federal regulations and standards. Communication skills are critical for this role. This position requires the technical ability to assess the implications of technology configurations including the writing of technical implementation statements and technical impact statements.
Responsibilities:

Track ongoing tasks and provide updates to project manager
-
Author and maintain business case analysis to include requirements descriptions, constraints, risks, assumptions, recommendations, and funding requirements.

Provide support for technical escalation and solution design.

Authorize, track, schedule, and implement Workstation maintenance, server maintenance, patch remediation, system configuration,
-
Provide technical escalation across windows server and linux environments
-
Implement and validate compliance with STIGs across technologies such as: Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft IIS, DNS, SAN, Backup Services, and Active Directory.

Deploy and Maintain HP Alletra Hyperconverged Infrastructure environment
-
Ensure compliance with DOD security regulations and standards, particularly for Navy and DCSA networks.

Provide guidance on security controls and measures to system developers and network engineers.
-
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the effectiveness of implemented security controls.

Assist in the preparation and presentation of RMF package materials for security accreditation and audits.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience. (

Minimum 5 years of professional experience managing and administering Windows Servers.
-
Minimum 3 years of professional experience managing and administering virtual infrastructure components (VMware VSAN, VMWare ESXi, Dell VXRAIL, Nutanix, HP Alletra, Simplivity ect).

Current IAT Level II Certification such as Comptia Sec + required.
-
Active Secret Clerance with ability to upgrade to Top Secret W/ SSBI.

Job Title: Systems Administration Job Code: 17377 Job Location: Colorado Springs, CO Job Description: Responsible for the internal or customer administration, maintenance and management of capacity resources for computers at the operating system and infrastructure level. Builds, configures, troubleshoots and integrates new and existing servers to provide service enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure upgrades. Sets up administrator and service accounts, maintains system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system-wide software, and allocates mass storage space. Recommends software and hardware enhancements, diagnoses and corrects issues, defines and implements new services with the goal of achieving maximum server uptime and availability for the customers. Responsible for monitoring performance, system usage. Contributes towards the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), backup systems and disk configurations. Conducts system analysis and development to keep systems current with changing technologies.
Essential Functions:
- 4-6 years of experience with Red Hat Linux Administration or Engineering, 2-4 years of experience with Windows Administration or Engineering
- Configure, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot VMWare and/or other virtualization technologies
- Experience in VM life-cycle management (snapshots)
- System configuration experience with Enterprise Identity Management tools (LDAP, IPA, Active Directory, etc.)
- Lead efforts to field changes to production systems to a schedule
- Address and detect issues that impact projects and implement/develop courses of action (COAs) to mitigate or alleviate the impact to projects
- Experience implementing patches, scanning, remediating findings, auditing
- Support critical operations during standard and occasional non-standard working hours
- Expertise with VMware vCenter Server or VMware certifications.
- Works to provide architecture-level oversight for multiple projects.
- Work with lead engineers to ensure engineering designs are sound and fit overall architectural concepts.
- Implement/maintain strong system architectures to include physical and virtual environments.
- Ensure project schedules are being met and identify any
- constraints/concerns.
- Support/facilitate customer meetings and ensure compliance with project requirements & overall architectural design.
- Bring Engineering knowledge & Support briefings to customer, vendor and procurement support, and system evaluations.
- Experience as an IPTL
- Work within program organization and milestones
- Experience with day-to-day ops on a cross functional team
- This position is performed 100% onsite.
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- Secret security clearance required.
- DOD 8570.01M IAT 2 certification.
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 3 certification (e.g. CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH).
- Experience with construction and configuration of data Cloud environments such as AWS or GovCloud using government software
- System configuration experience with SANs
- Working knowledge of RMF and cybersecurity requirements
- Previous experience supporting DoD/government customers
- Hardware/software requirement verification/system validation experience
- Demonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Experience with CM tools
- Establish and maintain up-to-date cybersecurity configurations based on DISA STIGs and IAVM Notices
