Job Summary:
As a Construction Coordinator, you play a key role in accelerating organizational success by directing and overseeing the work of our contracted partners to place and repair drops to service locations, performing splicing work and updating associated mapping records on a consistent basis. You represent the company and ensure the company's standards are being met.

You will use your LEADERSHIP SKILLS to:
- Provide direction, oversight and inspection of construction placement and repair activities performed by contracted labor.
- Ensure that drop projects are completed timely and effectively and assist with ensuring appropriate inventory is available and onsite to complete forecasted work.
- Update and maintain mapping software database, including accurate and timeline input of drop records into company's mapping software.
- Serve as the company liaison with contracted construction partners, providing and monitoring their schedules and keeping drops and repairs on track.
- Provide updates to supervisor and management, participate in one-on-one and team discussions to ensure activities are complete to company's standards and timelines.
- Support the company by completing other duties as assigned.
- Answer employee and contractor questions, conduct research, visit job sites and assist in determining placement of drops.
- Inspecting and documenting quality of work inspections and reviewing and approving contract work.
- Perform splicing, repairs and related work in order as drops as placed by contracted partner.
- Train and mentor junior splicers on company's best practice.
- Create work orders and project-specific drawings, send to contractors and reconcile inventory after projects are complete.
- Perform quality control reviews of splicing work performed by others.

About This Role
FiberTel is currently seeking a new Construction Coordinator for our Sacramento office. This position is responsible for providing administrative project support to the OSP-West Operations.
What You'll Do
Applicants must have the skills, ability, and judgment to perform the following essential job duties and responsibilities:
- Works with a team of 2-5 Project Coordinators to ensure administrative activities are completed for the Telecom projects.
- Supports department with timecards, materials tracking, mark for locates, daily reports, scheduling, cost control, change-order tracking, vendor and subcontractor tracking, client billing, and pay invoices
- Assists Project Team with preparation of bid documentation and helps to prepare for bid reviews
- Meets work standards by following productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving operational problems, identifying work process improvements as necessary
- Helps meet cost standards by monitoring expenses, implementing cost-savings actions
- Updates job knowledge by going to the field, participating in educational opportunities, getting to know/understand division.

- Maintains subcontractor requalification data in Procore database.
- Attend project set-up meetings (hand off to PM)
- Upload and organize project plans, specifications, and other project documentation including project set-up, photos, contacts, notifications, and meeting minutes to Procore.
- Create submittal and RFI logs.
- Complete consistent and accurate take-offs. Identify requirements for proposals.

Large GC is seeking a Pre-Construction Coordinator to join its growing team. The ideal candidate has 4-8 years' of experience in a similar role. Affordable housing experience is a PLUS. Willingness to travel up to 35% is key.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Company facing role, meeting with key decision makers of prospective and/or existing clients for potential upcoming projects.
- Build and maintains relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, etc.)
- Participate in project site inspections to ensure all plans, specifications and subcontractor scopes of work are being adhered to, resolves issues and problems, and recommends and implements modifications to the project plans, as needed.
- Maintain subcontractor data base including but not limited to information on: bid responses, performance history, EMR, Pre-qualification and insurance status
- Conduct quantity surveys and material takeoffs for assigned scope of work.
- Distribute bid packages and RFP's, reviews and evaluates bids and proposals from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors.
- Assist Compliance department with the administration of overall vendor diversity and outreach program, including the maintenance of a sortable MBE/WBE/SDVOB/Section 3 database
- Prepare all bid forms and associated documents required for competitively bid projects.
- Prepare preconstruction budget/estimate packages as needed for presentation to Owners
- Coordinate all preconstruction meetings as needed
- Ad hoc assignments as needed
- Ad hoc: Spearhead the creation and ongoing maintenance of a cost guidance manual for the Company. This manual will, among other things, serve as a quick resource for employees to gauge historical pricing data for common and key material/procurement items of the Company

Assignment Focus : We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Preconstruction Coordinator to join our Builder Division. This position will support the Director of Builder and the Builder Account Managers during the bidding and pre-construction phase of onboarding new clients. The successful candidate will manage the flow of information between all departments within the builder division to ensure efficiencies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the Account Management team with bid proposals
- Create and maintain catalogs in Measure
- Investigate and take proper steps to correct shortages or overages
- Assist in training new hires on Measure
- Create and maintain pricing calculators
- Serve as a primary point of contact for preconstruction related inquiries
- Experience in home building or a desire to learn the homebuilding business
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings

Job Description:
Perform all job file coordinator tasks related to customer calls, job monitoring, tracking, coordination, and audits of jobs. Create preliminary estimates and job file backup. Perform general office duties, such as drafting correspondence, filing, and creating reports.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor job file status and job file audit status
- Monitor and ensure client requirements are followed
- Review and validate initial field documentation
- Assist Project Managers daily operations
- Daily job file coordination, including preparing job file reports, performing job file backup, and completing job file audit process

**What we're looking for:**
The Turnaround and Construction Coordinator is responsible for the for the oversight and successful execution of Turnaround and construction projects in the IVOG Lake Charles (occasional support may be requested for other Intermediate Chemicals assets). This position will consult with engineering for feasibility and constructability review, bid preparation and the project scope of work per the construction package, owning field productivity of all contractors and Indorama associates associated with the project execution.
**What will be expected from you?**
+ Responsible for Construction schedule/execution plan/constructability input
+ Oversees and manages contractor(s) construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, environmental guidelines, quality assurance programs and construction safety programs.
+ Monitor/Report Man-hours to Project Managers
+ Monitor/Report Progress to Project Managers
+ Field walks with Contractors during bid process
+ Responsible for construction efficiency.
+ Monitors and tracks construction schedule and progress and ensures overall project schedule compliance.
+ Coordinate material (field/shop/etc.) and equipment to minimize any inefficiencies during the construction phase.
+ Coordinate permitting and make-ready process.
+ Construction bid package development - ensures all work is captured to avoid change orders.
+ Coordinates with start-up managers and engineers to facilitate start-up of the project in accordance with plant performance expectations. Ensures efficient turnover of plant to operations and maintenance staff and coordinates with the operations and maintenance staff.
+ Work in conjunction with the turnaround group to facilitate the execution of turnarounds.
+ Review of Field Change Orders and work with PM for approval
+ Coordinate any fabrication.
+ Provide input for T&M /hard money decisions.
+ Provide drawing comments/ mark-ups to drafting.
+ Review construction package with Project Team
+ Perform site inspections for quality control.
+ Ensure all personnel have a safe working environment and follow the agreed upon safety standards and procedures.
+ Conduct daily safety field observations and interventions.
+ Participate in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs)
+ Provide input to project weekly and monthly construction progress reports. Participate in regular contractor construction meetings.
+ Attend project engineering status meetings, as requested.
+ Provides necessary coordination and acts as liaison to transition from plant startup and commissioning to plant operations.
+ Ensure that the activities are carried out to comply with the integrated management system, as applicable (safety, food safety, GMP, health, environmental, quality, and responsible care requirements).
+ Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.
+ Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.
+ Assists other employees in accomplishments of Indorama company goals. Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

**What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?**
+ HS Diploma or Equiv AND Minimum of 5 years of experience working in turnarounds, construction, maintenance or operations at a refinery or petrochemical facility.
+ Previous experience in field construction, pipefitting, and/or welding
+ Experience managing or leading construction projects.
+ MUST HAVE or be able to obtain TWIC card.
+ Must have a level of proficiency with SAP, Internet, Email and Microsoft Office programs.
