As a Construction Project Manager, Mechanical, you will play a critical role in managing and executing fast-paced complex Central Utility construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with your project team, design team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Your technical expertise, organizational skills, and ability to effectively communicate will be key in coordinating and facilitating various aspects of the construction process.
Responsibilities
- Development of project plans, scopes of work, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with the project superintendents to establish project objectives, deliverables, and timelines
- Collaborate with the design team, architects, and engineers to review plans, specifications, and drawings including resolving design clashes
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, local authorities, and industry standards
- Monitor and audit project costs, invoices, & billings, comparing actuals against the budget while also Identifying cost-saving opportunities and suggest value engineering alternatives
- Conduct regular project meetings to discuss progress, milestones, and upcoming activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience (Preferably Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management - Master's degree is not a requirement but a plus)
- 3-5 years of construction experience, including mechanical, plumbing, and/or process systems (Under 10 years' experience ideal for this role)
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, regulations, and safety protocols
- Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with tight timelines and aggressive goals. Willingness to work long hours, with a tenacious and ambitious approach to project goals
- Proficiency in project management software, design tools, and scheduling software
- Ability to problem solve and make difficult decisions rooted in data. Confident in decision making ability and coordinating among key stakeholders
- Requires experience in plumbing and both dry and wet mechanical systems. Experience in Data Center and/or Chiller Plant Construction is preferred

The Construction Manager, CSA (Civil, Structural, and Architectural) will work closely with members of the project management, infrastructure engineering, project controls, and quality inspection departments from initial site preparation through installation and the start of production. The Construction Manager will supervise all on-site construction activities, including scheduling of trade contractors for civil works such as site grading, earthwork, drainage systems, and utility infrastructure; structural elements like foundations, framing, steel reinforcements, and load-bearing assemblies; and architectural components including building envelopes, interior finishes, facades, and compliance with design aesthetics and building codes. This role ensures adherence to plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements while tracking project schedule, budget, and quality standards to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the project schedule and elevate construction issues to management.
- Supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety
regulations and resolving any on-site issues.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing
applicable state and OSHA regulations.
- Develop detailed construction plans and schedules in collaboration with project
managers and engineers.
- Ensure frequent communication with all stakeholders, including clients,
subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project coordination.
- Develop and communicate logistics and other operational plans necessary,
including Quality Assurance Inspections.
- Perform daily and weekly site progress reports.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of construction experience in civil, structural, and architectural projects.
- Previous experience as a CM on industrial facility construction, Brownfield construction, building renovation, or tenant improvement project(s).
- Ability to work within a high-performance, cross functional organization with tight
timeliness and aggressive goals.
- OSHA 30 certification, current First Aid and CPR Certification, or be willing to be
certified.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify solutions and make
informed decisions under pressure.
- Expertise in managing project schedules, subtrades, and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with construction quality standards, building codes, and environmental
regulations.
