As an industry leader in the cured-in-place piping (CIPP) industry, SAK provides the opportunity to work with some of the most talented and accomplished professionals in the industry. Pay range $130,000 to $180,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedule and budget to ensure project meets initial estimate. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Review, prepare, and acquire fully executed contracts from customers and subcontractors.
- Prepare construction estimates and ensure site surveys for estimating are complete and accurate.
- Update project management system regularly with actual job costs and cost commitments to accurately reflect the financial performance of the project. Accountable for project profit and loss; timely billings and collections from customers to ensure profitability and adherence to project accounting guidelines.
- Prepare Performance Metric reports with the analysis of monthly labor hours against forecast; subcontractor analysis (schedule of values) for all projects.
- Responsible for month-end financial reviews, including revenue recognition and job cost review, equipment cost review, project cost management, billing preparation, and operational expense review.
- Administer project meetings with Superintendent, Field Engineer, and appropriate subcontractors to make necessary changes to finalize work schedule.
- Secure project submittals and critical project documents required by the specifications and/or client. Perform field investigations to assess project quality, crew performance, and adherence to safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years Water or wastewater construction or field management construction experience, with hands-on experience in construction or engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with infrastructure related construction and government funded projects.
- Clear understanding of managerial financial information, plus familiarity with "percent of cost" accounting systems.
- Experience with project scheduling utilizing Microsoft Project or other project management systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and work in a team environment.
- Some travel required, based on operational needs.

This position will manage transportation planning projects and business development pursuits for a variety of transportation planning projects. What are we looking for?
- Masters or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, Urban and Regional Planning, or similar field
- 10+ years of experience in Transportation Engineering/Planning
- PE or similar license preferred, or the ability to achieve one in the near future
- Proficiency in project delivery and polishing work products to submit to clients
- Confidence in speaking to elected officials, public stakeholder groups, and clients
- Demonstrated technical and non-technical professional writing proficiency

**AECOM** is seeking an experienced **Senior Environmental Planner/Project Manager.** This hybrid position can be based in our Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose, or Sacramento offices. The successful candidate would join our multi-disciplinary team to engage with our expanding pool of public and private sector clients, manage contracts and task orders for large environmental planning programs, and coordinate with our team and subcontractors to complete environmental compliance processes and documentation.

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Planning Project Manager to be based in Sacramento, CA. The position is open to remote work.
SUMMARY:
The Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of projects. This role ensures the timely delivery and quality of project deliverables, effectively managing resources and working with minimal supervision to support the organizations environmental program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee project planning, execution, and delivery in the Environmental Services Branch.
- Coordinate with various branches to ensure seamless integration of project components, providing guidance, recommendations, and document review.
- Maintain and develop project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external consultants.
- Track project progress, prepare progress reports, and communicate status updates to leadership.
- Ensure project deliverables comply with Authority standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to keep projects on track.

- Gather and process data from engineering, design, and other technical experts for use in project documentation.

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

**Job Description**
**AECOM** is growing in northern California and seeking an experienced **Senior Environmental Planning Project Manager - Land Use/Development Focus** to join our Environmental Permitting and Planning (EPP) team. The successful candidate would join our diverse team to engage with our expanding pool of public and private sector clients, manage contracts and task orders for large environmental planning programs, and coordinate with our team and subcontractors to complete environmental compliance processes and documentation.
The candidate will primarily lead environmental clearance and compliance work on land use and development projects, on behalf of lead agency clients, but may also work on infrastructure projects in the transportation, water, and energy sectors. Depending on the project assignment, the candidate could serve as a project manager, deputy project manager, task manager, or technical specialist. Technical responsibilities of this position would include providing guidance and management of CEQA and permitting efforts, providing planning assistance to design teams for project development, and interacting with agencies and the public. Work will include collaboration with senior project managers and task leaders; client staff; and representatives from cities, counties, and local, regional, state, and federal agencies. The selected candidate will also function as a mentor to staff and manage client relationships.
This hybrid role can be based out of AECOM's Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, or San Jose offices.
AECOM is seeking candidates with a demonstrated ability to manage contracts and task orders for environmental planning and compliance projects and programs, successfully interface with clients, apply sound business development strategies, and prepare proposals and deliverables that respond to our clients' needs.
**Key responsibilities include:**
+ Lead environmental planning and compliance work and support the development of environmental documents and studies in compliance with CEQA, NEPA, and other state and federal environmental regulations.
+ Manage contracts involving multiple task orders. Oversee contract administration and compliance, task order scope and budget development, staffing including subcontractor coordination, communication of contract policy and practice to internal teams, financial performance, adherence to quality protocols, and client satisfaction.
+ Manage projects including authority and accountability for scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables. Manage subconsultants and technical staff.
+ Collaborate with project teams to develop work programs designed to provide innovative and progressive project solutions.
+ Prepare effective technical and cost proposals and take an active role in the development of new business with new and existing clients. Develop and expand client relationships that generate repeat business.
+ Providing leadership in mentoring personnel, including reviewing their work for accuracy and clarity and providing constructive feedback on project tasks.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in environmental planning or related field.
+ 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in lead environmental clearance and compliance work on land use and development projects and and impact assessment (analytical/technical writing) for CEQA and/or NEPA.
+ Valid U.S Driver's license is required for this role.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 15+ years of experience in environmental planning, including facility siting, permitting, community engagement, and impact assessment (analytical/technical writing) for CEQA and/or NEPA or similar requirements.
+ Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of competence and project management experience in the area of technical report writing related to CEQA/NEPA compliance as well as other types of technical reports and regulatory (federal, state, local) permitting documents.
+ Experience managing environmental compliance projects or programs, requiring coordination of interdisciplinary teams, management of budget(s), and meeting schedule(s).
+ Experience leading task order-based on-call interdisciplinary services contracts for state or local agencies.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills to effectively manage projects and interact with teams of staff, subconsultants, and clients; successful candidate will have the ability to write concise technical documents; to multi-task effectively to accommodate working on various simultaneous and diverse projects; and to follow through to completion all assigned and delegated tasks.
+ Experience in environmental compliance, permitting, and agency consultations.
+ Demonstrated expertise in preparing and overseeing the environmental planning and permitting. efforts associated with land use and development projects, preferably in northern California.
+ Experience with moderate to major development projects on the rural/urban fringe and familiarity with Senate Bill 330 (Builders Remedy).
+ Experience in marketing and business development efforts in pursuit of new projects.
+ Prior consulting experience is highly desired.
