Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties
- Arrive promptly and prepared for work
- Execute tasks safely in proximity to equipment
- Follow directives from supervisors
- Maintain a motivated and industrious approach
- Travel when required
- Proficiency in operating pneumatic and electrical tools, concrete vibrators, compactors, concrete and cut-off saws, jackhammers, as well as hand-operated trenchers
- Competency in tasks such as digging, spreading, and leveling dirt and gravel using a pick and shovel
- Capability to lift, transport, and manage building materials, tools, and supplies
- Knowledge of cleaning tools, equipment, and work areas
- Experience in mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other materials using hand tools
- Familiarity with joining, wrapping, sealing, and bedding sections of underground pipe and pipe penetrations
- Ability to comprehend and implement verbal instructions

Responsibilities
* Perform general labor duties such as spotting trucks, using hand tools (shovel, rake, post hole digger, etc.), installing silt fence and using small equipment
* Sweep and mop trailer floor, clean work area and wash trucks
* Flag vehicles in and out of the construction site
* Learn, follow, and promote all safety regulations
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Valid driver's license required
* Minimum one-year experience working in a construction or similar environment preferred
* General knowledge of construction and mechanical equipment preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Environment & Conditions
* This position requires a flexible work schedule: nights, weekends, holidays, and/or overtime
* Must be able to climb, maintain body equilibrium, reach, grasp, bend and walk/stand for extended periods of time
* Must be able to hear and see naturally or with correction
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
* Be subject to loud noises
* Be subject to atmospheric conditions - one or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odor, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
* This position requires working in the internal and external environment
* Ability to work independently and as a team
