The Vice President, Professional Services will provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure delivery of high-impact professional services across scheduling, implementation, training, and solution design for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting clients in North America to ensure an optimal onboarding experience. **Essential Duties and responsibilities**
+ Provide executive leadership for driving client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue growth through best-in-class implementation practices, service deliver all aspect of professional services across North America, including scheduling, implementation, training, solution design, specialty services, and conversion team.
+ Deliver on revenue targets (>$18M in Professional Services), manage P&L, and ensure financial performance.
+ Lead and manage the end-to-end professional services lifecycle - from pre-sales engagement through solution design, implementation, training, and post-implementation support
+ Transform the implementation and training experience through advanced technology and modern delivery practices, including Learning Management Systems and automated scheduling tools
+ Align training and onboarding to customer workflows and adult learning principles, tailored by customer segment and go to market strategy,
+ Serve as the senior point of contact for customer stakeholders during implementation, building strong, trust-based relationships and ensuring transparency.
+ Ensure seamless solution delivery by aligning product configuration with client needs; collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Finance, Client Success, and Service Excellence to ensure consistent, high impact client experience.
+ Manage resource allocation and staffing models to support a growing customer base while maintaining service excellence.

+ Drive innovation and efficiency by optimizing internal processes, tools, and technologies (e.g. LMS, automated scheduling), to enhance performance, reduce friction, and scale service delivery. Identify and implement new consulting service offerings for the audit & tax market.
+ Manage relationships with external vendors for training and staffing augmentation.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
+ Conduct regular client reviews to support solution adoption and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities during implementation phases.
+ Prepare detailed business performance reports and strategic planning updates for senior leadership.

Position Summary The Solutions Architect in Legal Business Consulting will plays a key role role in delivering customized, technology-enabled solutions to corporate legal departments and Reed Smith practice teams. Reporting to the Manager, Legal Business Consulting, this role combines strategic consulting and solution designs with hands-on product enablement and client-facing execution. The Solutions Architect is responsible for translating legal use cases into workflow-driven solutions, creating and delivering tailored demos, and proactively identifying opportunities for innovation. This role exercises discretion and independent judgment in shaping solutions, advising clients and internal teams, and ensuring that deliverables align with business objectives and technical requirements. Job Duties And Responsibilities Client Engagement and Advisory Deliver practical and innovative solutions in support of legal and business operations teams.Assist in client projects focused on AI transformation, contract lifecycle management (CLM), and process optimization. Collaborate with clients to understand needs, gather requirements, and document business processes. Product Enablement and Demonstration Design and deliver tailored demonstrations across legal tech platforms (including CLM and AI tools) that align with specific client needs and workflows. Proactively build demo environments and narratives that highlight real-world applications of technology in legal settings. Engage with attorneys and clients to gather real-world use cases that inform demo development and future product direction. Research and evaluate emerging tools, platforms, and trends to enhance solution design and delivery.Manage individual workstreams or smaller projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables are completed on-time and within-budget. Develop and track project deliverables and milestones in collaboration with team members. Communicate project status, risks, and recommended actions to internal stakeholders and client contacts.Work across multiple departments and teams on project deliverables. Collaboration and Team Support Collaborate with Analysts and Managers to provide high-quality deliverables. Share knowledge and insights with team members to promote skill development and best practices. Be an ambassador of the team and our vaule to all practices within Reed Smith. AI and Technology Integration Contribute to the implementation and optimization of AI and Gen AI platforms to enhance client operations. Identify opportunities to leverage technology in solving client challenges or addressing their needs. Operational Excellence Participate in the development and improvement of methodologies, templates, and best practices. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Data Analysis, or a related field required Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in consulting or related roles, preferably with exposure to AI, CLM, or legal technology. Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: project management, business analysis, process improvement, or technology implementation. Demonstrated experience with legal tech solutions and product demonstration delivery. Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to synthesize technical product capabilities into business value for legal users and teams. Other Supervisory Responsibilities: None. May occasionally be required to work hours in excess of the normal schedule in response to urgent or time-sensitive project demands. Working Conditions: You will be required to work in the office a minimum of 2 days per week. Occasionally called upon to work hours in excess of your normal daily schedule. As part of our Finance Transformation team, you will gain Oil and Gas experience working with senior leadership teams in domestic and large multinational companies.
You will combine your finance capability with program and change management expertise to implement and embed improvements and deliver sustainable value.
**Your key responsibilities**
Your role as a manager will focus on supporting the strategy and delivery of client engagements, interacting at an executive level, as well as sales and practice development activities. In this role, you will help develop high-performing people and teams, supporting them to make an impact that matters, and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service.
You will work to sell, deliver and manage finance transformation projects in one or more of the following areas
+ Finance strategy development
+ Finance operating model design
+ Finance processes improvement
+ Shared services and global business services design and implementation
+ Outsourcing consulting (including managed services)
+ Financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
+ Finance systems and applications (e.g., SAP, Blackline), process mining, robotics, and intelligent automation
+ Financial close, consolidation and reporting
+ Cost management and profitability analysis
+ Hydrocarbon accounting, Order-to-cash, procure-to-pay and record-to-report processes
+ Core responsibilities will also include coaching and mentoring, and performance appraisal.

**To qualify for the role, you must have**
+ A bachelor's degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience; or a master's degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience
+ Approximately 5 years of experience in providing consulting services in the finance function focused in at least one of the following areas: finance operating model design, performance management, shared services design and implementations, outsourcing consulting
+ Experience in managing large-scale Finance Transformation and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations preferred
+ Oil & Gas Industry experience with robust finance operations expertise
+ Experience leading teams, managing engagement economics and business development
+ Willingness to travel to meet client obligations
**Ideally, you'll also have**
+ An advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Operations or superior academic achievement in a related field
+ CPA
+ Industry Knowledge in Hydrocarbon Accounting
+ Planning/budgeting/forecasting and reporting/analytics experience

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $128,400 to $35,300. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is 154,000 to 267,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
