Join Our Team as Consumer Insights Analyst at TCP-US !
TCP-US is seeking a dynamic and experienced Consumer Insights Analyst to join our Integrated Marketing function in a full-time , salaried role based in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey .
This position that plays a pivotal role in strengthening and accelerating our core business. You'll work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer , supporting marketing by driving data driven decision making across the organization.
This role is anticipated to have an 80% focus on quantitative analysis, leveraging syndicated data sources such as Nielsen and Numerator to uncover actionable insights and monitor market and brand performance. The remaining 20% will focus on qualitative consumer studies, including briefing and analyzing focus groups and in-depth interviews to gain deeper understanding of consumer behavior and preferences.
Financial Outcomes
- Supports the delivery of the financial objectives of all brands including market share, brand penetration and building awareness. There is a special focus in this role on Eight O’clock coffee
- The role is specifically responsible for all A&P spend management as it relates to syndicated data and research and ensuring those budgets are managed and spent efficiently
Customer Service
- Consumer and Customer insights-based decision making: Act as the central connection to customers and shoppers by offering strategic insights and guidance to Sales and Marketing, delivering a comprehensive understanding of shopper and consumer behavior.
- Shopper programs ROI: Consolidate and deliver consistent measurement and evaluation of our shopper programs to optimize our ROAS
Internal process
- Create and maintain a single source of truth which brings together all relevant and important consumer and shopper information and insights at the fingertips of the whole commercial organization.
- Support brand strategy and annual brand planning process to drive the strategic direction of all brands
- Serve as the main point of consumer planning/research for the global planning team
Requirements
What are the Critical success factors for the Role?
- Preferred experience in CPG syndicated data management platforms (Nielsen / Circana)
- Preferred 1-2 years of previous experience in consumer/shopper insights role
- Proven success in turning data into consumer or shopper insights that drove business growth
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in data science / data management, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or related fields
- Experience with measurement and ROI analysis generation of activities
- Experience managing external partners and negotiating contracts

Benefits
Total Target Compensation Hiring Range: 90,000 USD to 126,000 USD per year
The Total Target Compensation (TTC) at the time of hiring represents the pay range applicable upon commencement of employment. This range is effective from your hire date to March 31, 2026, and comprises both base pay and bonus pay. For further details regarding pay, please consult with your recruiter.
Final compensation for each employee will be determined based on various factors, including—but not limited to—geographical location, knowledge, skills and abilities, relevant experience, and educational background.
In addition to the Total Target Compensation, as part of Tata Consumer Products U.S. Inc., this position is eligible for our comprehensive employee benefits program. We're searching for an analytically-minded and proactive Consumer Insights Analyst with 2-4 years of experience to support our Consumer Insights function. This role offers the opportunity to develop your research expertise while making meaningful contributions to Cricut's understanding of our creative community. You'll bridge support functions with independent research execution, helping transform consumer data into actionable insights that inform our product development and marketing strategies.
Working closely with colleagues across the Consumer Insights team and other functions, you will execute research studies while taking increasing ownership of project components and smaller-scale initiatives. Responsibilities
- Execute research projects from design through analysis, including supporting study planning, programming and testing surveys, collecting data, conducting analysis, and preparing comprehensive findings with guidance from senior team members
- Lead specific research components such as survey design and programming, research logistics for qualitative studies, data quality assurance, and preliminary analysis while collaborating with senior team members on strategic interpretation

Primary Purpose
As a Consumer Insights Manager, you'll partner with Ahold Delhaize USA and the Giant Food brand teams to deliver actionable, data-driven insights that shape strategic decisions. You'll lead both primary and secondary research efforts, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to uncover meaningful customer perspectives. Your work will ensure timely, accurate, and impactful reporting that drives business growth and customer satisfaction.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Hyattsville, MD.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop research plans aligned with business objectives and key performance indicators.
- Lead and execute large-scale tracking studies and ad hoc research projects.
- Conduct data collection, analysis, and interpretation using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Ahold Delhaize banners to understand business needs and deliver practical, insight-driven solutions.
- Produce and present clear, error-free reports and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Integrate data from multiple sources-including primary research, syndicated data, and proprietary vendor tools-to generate holistic insights.
- Manage relationships with key research vendors and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Contribute to the evolution of research methodologies and best practices within the team.
- Partner with Advanced Analytics and the Giant Food brand team to support strategic initiatives and performance improvement.
- Own and drive projects from concept to completion with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
- 5+ years of experience in consumer research within CPG or retail (client-side and/or supplier-side).
- Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end consumer research initiatives in the CPG or retail sectors, including shopper journey analysis, category-level insights, and integration of primary research with syndicated and loyalty data to inform merchandising, pricing, and marketing strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Market Research, Psychology, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills-able to translate data into compelling narratives.
- Confident, objective, and respectful when offering feedback or challenging assumptions.
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently.

ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $92,640 - $38,960
IL/MA/MD Salary Range: 106,480- 159,720

This position is eligible for an incentive bonus based on company performance as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

This role is onsite at our Atlanta Support Center location. You will be considered for multiple roles across Inspire Brands.
Job Summary
The Analyst will work within the Consumer Insights Team to represent the "voice of the consumer" to multiple brands in the Inspire portfolio. This will involve delivering fact-based consumer and customer understanding through primary consumer research, market segmentation and consumer surveys. This person will also support data analysis of internal and external sources to help inform understanding of brand reputation, consumer experience, and likely response to brand initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help conduct consumer research to identify actionable insights and unmet consumer needs that inform the basis for marketing activations and new product offerings
- Identify and provide insights and recommendations on industry and consumer trends and competitive activities to potentially impact company strategy and business decisions
- Assist with managing vendor relationships including scheduling, planning, and monitoring consumer research projects
- Learn and develop expertise of various data sources as needed to support brands, product, or category deep-dives with support from the Insights leadership
- Develop strong relationships with internal clients, including presentation of findings and understanding brand needs
- Mine consumer research to identify growth targets, triggers and barriers and demand space opportunities
Education Requirements
- BA/BS in Marketing, Psychology, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Market Research (MMR)
1-2 years of experience in Market Research, Consumer Insights, or related field
Preferred: Restaurant chain, food manufacturer, consumer packaged goods company, or marketing research supplier
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
- A passion for solving business problems using quantitative data driven methods and information (data discovery, data visualization, and data mining)
- Experience with research platforms (e.g. Qualtrics, Decipher) and Microsoft Suite (Excel, PPT, Word)
- An ability to communicate quantitative analyses in clear, concise and actionable manner
- Logic-driven understanding of data including consumer, competitive and business metrics
- Ability to tell the story with data pulling from multiple data sources
- Strong interpersonal skills
