If you are a **SUPPLY CHAIN AND LOGISTICS** professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our **SIDNEY, OH** location, you will manage material requirements and maintain the master schedule, which includes managing MRP, Kanban, and expediting material as required to meet production needs.
In this position, you will be responsible to drive improvements in material turns, inventory accuracy, storage, packaging, and customer delivery. You will interface with suppliers, customer service, production, procurement, quality, engineering, and manufacturing. In addition, you will track and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECN) in the plant as well as help with the introduction of new products. You will also work as part of the team to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
**AS A MATERIAL ANALYST YOU WILL:**
+ Manage and develop process improvement projects for kanban pull systems to meet production and inventory targets
+ Manage MRP to ensure timely receipt of materials to meet production schedules.
+ Track the progress of materials and expedite, as required.
+ Analyze data and help develop analysis tools to improve efficiencies across the materials department.
+ Manage inventory levels to meet goals.
+ Identify and resolve issues that impact on-time delivery.
+ Organize and set-up daily transportation on critical timeframes to ensure timely receipt of products.
+ Work through new product development at the plant with part set ups, lead times, BOM changes, etc.
+ Develop lean tools to improve supplier delivery to the plant
+ Meet customer requirements, including LTL, FTL, and expedites.
+ Work in conjunction with production, customer service, sales, suppliers, and procurement to meet customer requirements, including short LT and expedite requests.
+ Be cross-trained in other positions in the department.
**REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:**
+ Four (4) year bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft, proficient in Excel
+ Capable of utilizing Lean tools, such as Kanban pull systems, demand-driven supply chain, and perfect execution strategies
+ Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

**PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:**
+ Degree in Supply Chain/Operations or related degree
+ Oracle experience preferred
+ Knowledge of manufacturing operations, MRP systems, shop floor controls, supply chain methodology and lean practices

**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Gather requirements from end users, facilitate business process discussions, and participate in solution design, documentation, configuration, testing, and end user support.
+ Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for processes, policies, and procedures through statistical analysis. Continually look for ways to drive SAP accounting best practices.
+ Work as a liaison and subject matter expert between SAP and business owners for quarterly system updates, root cause analysis, and solution recommendations.
+ Analyze business cases to measure adherence to standardized practices and data governance standards.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, along with 2 plus years of experience is required.
+ Working knowledge of SAP Employee Central Payroll strongly preferred.
+ Knowledge in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central preferred.
+ Strong communication, computer and organizational skills are necessary.
+ Minimal travel required.

**Job Duties**
+ Perform configuration and report development within the ERP system.
+ Ensure deliveries are fully integrated in the ERP system and align with business needs to support business operations.
+ Develop configurations and reports to align with business needs, working either independently or in coordination with a Business Analyst, to ensure solution appropriately fulfils requirement.
+ Gather requirements, analyze business processes, and recommend ERP-related solutions.
+ Execute data migration projects to ensure accurate and consistent data integrity during system transitions.
+ Support strategies for data migration that ensure seamless transition and integration of global business operations.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the ERP system supports and enhances business operations, driving efficiency and innovation.
+ Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and prompt issue resolution for ERP users throughout the Company's global locations.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ High School diploma or equivalent, along with at least 2 years of related experience.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Three to five years' experience and in-depth knowledge of IFS ERP system management software and architecture, with two years in IFS Cloud.
+ Proven experience in data migration, tools, and techniques.
+ Familiar with Configurations, Reports, Integrations, and Modifications (CRIM) processes and ERP system integration with experience in CRIM development/deployment.
+ Good background in business analysis and translating business requirements into technical solutions. Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
+ Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication, computer and organizational skills

  • Ability to travel on-site to the New Bremen, OH location as requested

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in SAP VMS as well as VISTEX preferred.
