Opportunity Overview: Data Analyst - 1+ year CONTRACT/CONTRACT TO HIRE - US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED Westinghouse/WECTEC Staffing currently has an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst role for the Westinghouse Parts Business (WPB). In this position, the individual will be responsible for changing the way the business uses and visualizes data. This role is important to the long-term success of a growing business unit within Westinghouse. Analyze - Dive into large datasets using different software tools Enhance - Optimize business processes using automation tools Solve problems - Find patterns, think critically, analyze data, and report findings to stakeholders Transform - Work on a team, to enhance the business' view of the power of data Communicate - Get out your ideas and findings to the broader team What Your Day-to-day Looks Like Analyze business processes to improve effectiveness Understand business data to create dynamic reports and dashboards (incl. Power BI, Excel, etc.) Develop automation tools using Power Automate software Process data and fulfil ad hoc requests from different stakeholders Understand Westinghouse Parts Business product scope and customer base to provide valuable insights Provide quality testing support for new reporting tools Improve data quality dimensions on existing business processing and reporting tools including Pega, Power BI Other tasks and projects as required What We Need To See From You Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required. Business, data analyst, or engineering backgrounds preferred 4+ years of professional experience in business related fields Advanced knowledge of business concepts and business acumen. Strong data administration skills including experience with Microsoft Office. (Enterprise Resource Planning, specifically Pega and SAP, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Automate are beneficial) Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills required Ability to effectively manage multiple internal and external stakeholders with competing priorities.
