POSITION PURPOSE
This position will support the ORMP Director in executing the UW's regulatory and institutional policy-guided obligation to assess and review claims of research misconduct, in supporting the resolution of broader research integrity issues, and in providing continuing education on research integrity. The position's responsibilities will be comprehensive to the ORMP's scope and operations: program, project and case management; analysis and research; coordination, communications and administration.
POSITION COMPLEXITIES
This position will provide broad program and project support on complex and highly-sensitive matters. It will require: an understanding of applicable federal regulations, state law, and institutional policy; organization and high-touch coordination on unique and overlapping research misconduct cases and research integrity issues; and critical thinking and independent judgement in undertaking analysis, research, and process improvement opportunities. Success will require both professional and soft skills, and the flexibility to adapt to new challenges.
POSITION DIMENSIONS AND IMPACT TO THE UNIVERSITY
As the second of two positions in the ORMP, this role will provide important and needed support to the ORMP's timely execution of UW's regulatory research misconduct compliance obligations, adherence to UW's Executive Order 61, and overarching support to resolve research integrity issues as a division of the Office of Research. This position will interact with complainants, respondents, and university officials as well as outside vendors. Employing sound, independent judgement, this role will ensure confidentiality on highly-sensitive matters while facilitating smooth, successful operations.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington. What You'll Do:

The target hiring compensation range for this role is 68/hr - 75/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
