POSITION SUMMARY: The Payroll Analyst serves as a key liaison between the Payroll and Accounting departments, responsible for identifying, analyzing, and communicating payroll-related changes and trends. This role translates complex payroll data into meaningful financial and operational insights, supports accurate reporting, and enhances decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of payroll components and systems, financial reporting principles, and operational drivers that impact payroll.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")
- Act as the primary point of contact between Payroll and Accounting teams to ensure accurate interpretation and analysis of payroll data.
- Identify and investigate variances in payroll runs and collaborate with operations, HR, and accounting teams to determine root causes.
- Develop, maintain, and present regular and ad hoc payroll reports, metrics, and dashboards showing trends and cost drivers.
- Translate payroll data into accounting terminology (e.g., accruals, labor cost allocation, expense analysis) for finance leadership.
- Partner with operations leaders to explain payroll trends, changes, and anomalies in a digestible, actionable way.
- Analyze the financial impact of changes in headcount, compensation structure, bonuses, PTO, benefits, and other payroll components.
- Support budget forecasting and headcount planning processes with relevant payroll insights.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies related to payroll reporting and data handling.
- Continuously identify opportunities to automate and improve payroll reporting process.
- Assist with audits, both internal and external, by providing accurate payroll data and analysis.
- Support month-end close activities by preparing data for payroll-related journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate and timely payroll cost allocations by department, cost center, and entity.
- Assist with intercompany allocations and reporting for shared payroll costs. Review and validate data transfers between the payroll system (e.g. Paycom) and ERP to ensure completeness and accuracy of payroll journal entries.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Successfully passes background check, pre-employment drug screening, and any pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).

- Experience in a mid-to-large multi-state company preferred.

This position is responsible for two core Enterprise functions, the day-to-day operations of in-place security solutions and the identification, investigation, and resolution of security breaches detected by those systems.
Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision and much decision-making:
- Maintains up-to-date baselines for the secure configuration and operations of all in-place devices, whether they be under direct control (i.e., security tools) or not (i.e., workstations, servers, network devices, etc.).
- Maintains operational configurations of all in-place security solutions as per the established baselines.
- Monitors all in-place security solutions for efficient and appropriate operations.
- Reviews logs and reports of all in-place devices, whether they be under direct control or not, analyzes and interprets implications of activity and devises plans for appropriate resolution, if needed.
- Participates in investigations into problematic activity.
- Participates in the creation and/or maintenance of new security solutions as well as policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures.
- Participates in the design and execution of vulnerability audits, assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
- Maintains knowledge of Insperity's enterprise security goals, policies, procedures and guidelines, and endeavors to uphold those goals.
- Provides on-call support for end users for all in-place security solutions.
Cloud Security - Monitor and analyze cloud environments (Azure) for security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Implement and maintain cloud security controls, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security configurations.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Investigate and respond to cloud security incidents and breaches.
- Develop and maintain cloud security documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Stay current with emerging cloud security threats, tools, and best practices.
Data Loss Prevention - Develop, implement, and maintain DLP policies and rules across enterprise systems.
- Monitor DLP alerts and investigate potential data leakage incidents.
- Collaborate with business units to classify sensitive data and define protection strategies.
- Tune DLP rules to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
- Conduct root cause analysis of DLP incidents and recommend remediation actions.
- Work with legal, compliance, and HR teams on data protection and privacy matters.
- Provide training and awareness on data handling best practices.
- Generate reports and metrics on DLP effectiveness and incident trends.
- Bachelor's Degree in the field of Computer Science, a related field, or four years of related work experience is required.
- Three to five years of related work experience is required.
- Experience in the definition of security requirements and architecture, working with various security forensics tools, security monitoring and compliance tools, and best practice incident response procedures.
- Solid understanding of various security exploits, TCP/IP, and security related technologies and protocols.
- Knowledge of risk assessment methods, information security procedures, and secure remote access processes.
- Strong working knowledge of network firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, information security practices, and trouble ticketing procedures.
- Experience or understanding of various compliance regulations such as HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and PCI.
- Proven analytical and problem solving ability.
- Ability to interface effectively with other internal or external organizations regarding incident response situations and training.
- Ability to work effectively within formal and informal teams inside and outside the technology organization.

As a Cost Analyst you will be responsible for assembling and providing information to Project Managers and Operations Management within their assigned Business Units regarding project current costs, commitments, and forecasts according to strict deadlines. This includes coordinating responses from field/operations personnel and gathering information from internal accounting systems, assembling accurate reporting workbooks, and interpreting data to predict project productivity trends. **Responsibilities**
+ Develop, maintain, and review cost forecasts, accruals, and budgets throughout project lifecycle?
+ Compile and analyze actual job cost data from accounting systems (Vista and VMS) and prepare forecasting workbooks?
+ Collaborate with Project Managers to review change orders, verify committed costs, and support scope change requests?
+ Assist in project budget setup and earned value structure development at project initiation?
+ Effective, clear & timely communication of data and trends to Project/Operations Management?

**Job Summary/Purpose**
The Capital Projects Analyst performs cost analysis, budgets and forecasts related to New Generation projects in all stages of development or execution. Creates and maintains financial and business models. Compiles performance information related to monthly project cost for inclusion in reports. Provides analytical expertise to support project and portfolio management.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities**
+ Builds and maintains cost models and performs scenario analysis for assigned projects.
+ Prepares cash flow estimates in support of monthly present estimate (PE) process.
+ Analyzes cost and schedule impacts of project scope changes and trends. Prepares and delivers presentations of numerical analysis.
+ Interfaces with internal and external project team (s) as necessary for cost control monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
