The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Essential Job Functions- Follow and promote all company customer service programs
- Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in their selection of merchandise
- Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving the professional customers as needed and directed
- Complete assigned company training relevant to position
- Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone by answering all calls according to company policy, accurately looking up parts and quote prices, recommending premium and related items, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee
- Responsible for accurately maintaining and securing the cash drawer, accepting cash and/or checks, accurately making change, and processing credit card transactions
- Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner, and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner
- Assist with the completion of daily image maker, and planogram updates, including freight receival, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning, etc.
- Perform various daily operational tasks, i.e., prepare new, core, and warranty merchandise returns to be shipped to the distribution center, assist with monthly stock adjustments, inventory cycle counts, etc.
- Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after corresponding training is completed and company requirements are met
- Perform various in-store services for customers (where state and local laws allow) - (i.e.; install wipers, test and charge batteries, test charging system, scan vehicle trouble codes, replace headlight capsules, etc.)
- Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries (Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements) when business needs dictate
- All other duties as assigned
Required:
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired:
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification

- This is a remote position supporting a regional area. While it is preferred that you sit in the Mountain Time Zone, you can also sit within the Pacific or Central Time Zone in the United States. We will provide all equipment to do the necessary functionalities of the position.
What Youll do:
The buyer is responsible for placing purchase orders with suppliers to maintain consistent in stock levels at the assigned branch locations. Daily review of the assigned suppliers using the Heritage Landscape Supply Group (HLSG) ERP system to determine which items require purchase. The buyer is expected to maintain inventory levels within the current buying guidelines as defined by the purchasing manager.
- Review all backordered items and complete all expedite requests each day.
- Complete purchase order management process from completion to close.
- PO follow up activities for buyers include supplier acknowledgement of PO receipt, costing confirmation, updating order shipping, and expected receipt dates, etc.
- Contacting suppliers to inquire about open line items that have aged past expected dates, making PO notations and future updates until the PO is completely received and closed.
- Assist the location managers and accounts payables teammates with closing the PO for payment.
- Assist with collecting new item creation or activation information from the branch or sales teammates. Provide supplier contact information as needed by the branch or sales teammates.
- Perform proactive item maintenance of usage rates, fixed reorder points, reorder point calculation methods, unusual lead times, etc.
Requirements We Look For:
- 2+ years of experience in a purchasing role within the plumbing distribution or landscape distribution industry. Will also consider those that have field experience within plumbing or landscape.

Responsible for conducting various audits including, but not limited to; vendor, focal, audit the auditor. Confirm that documentation is clear and concise to ensure accuracy in auditing of critical information on claims ensuring adherence to business and system requirements of customers as it pertains to contracting (benefit and provider), network management, credentialing, prior authorizations, fee schedules, and other business requirements critical to claim accuracy. Maintain audit records, and provide counsel regarding coverage amount and benefit interpretation within the audit process. Provide clear and concise results and comments to leaders about focal audits. Contributes to completion of audits as needed to ensure audits are conducted in a timely fashion and in accordance with audit standards.
Job Duties
• Reviews documentation regarding updates/changes to member enrollment, provider contract, provider demographic information, and/or claim processing guidelines. Evaluates the accuracy of these updates/changes as applied to the appropriate modules within the core processing system (QNXT).
• Conducts focal audits on samples of processed transactions impacted by these updates/changes. Determines that all outcomes are aligned to the original documentation and allow appropriate processing.
• Conducts audits of vendor audits and verifies accuracy of their published outcomes are aligned to the documentation, various sources of truth and being assessed appropriately.
• Clearly documents the focal audit results and makes recommendations as necessary.
• Researches and tracks the status of unresolved errors issued on daily transactional audits and communicates with Core Operations Functional Business Partners to ensure resolution within 30 days of error issuance.
• Evaluates the adjudication of claims using standard principles and state specific policies and regulations in order to identify incorrect coding, abuse and fraudulent billing practices, waste, overpayments, and processing errors of claims. ( Use for claims specific positions only )
• Prepares, tracks and provides audit findings reports according to designated timelines

**Responsibilities and Duties**
**Customer Support**
+ Organize, prepare, and manage product demonstrations of Tierra services and solutions for prospects and customers.
+ Provide technical training to customers and prospects on product usage, particularly during onboarding and new feature rollouts.
+ Collaborate with Tierra Engineers on field testing, product fine-tuning, and gathering functional requirements.
+ Deliver classroom-based training at Topcon Solutions Store locations for large groups on Tierra products.
+ Partner with the Topcon Sales team to recommend appropriate solutions from the Topcon/Tierra suite based on customer needs and workflows.
+ Work with Tierra Marketing and Technical Support to create and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and guides in support of sales and marketing efforts.
+ Attend regular alignment meetings with the Sales Manager and provide activity status updates.
**Field Technical Service**
+ Perform hardware installations and telematics solution setup, including web platform configuration.
+ Troubleshoot complex installation issues, identify root causes, and implement performance-enhancing solutions.
+ Deliver pre- and post-sales technical support via phone, email, remote sessions, or on-site visits as needed.
**Customer Relationship Management**
+ Maintain regular communication with customers regarding technical tasks and support.
+ Take a proactive approach to ensure optimal fleet operation and proper customer platform configurations.
+ Build and maintain trust-based relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
**Qualifications**
**Education & Experience**
+ Technical degree in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role involving installation, field support, or laboratory testing.
**Technical Skills**
+ Strong knowledge of electronic components used in machinery.
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and perform basic wiring tasks.
+ Electro-mechanical installation and troubleshooting proficiency.
+ Experience with web and embedded applications, CAN bus systems, and data analyzers.
+ Industry knowledge in Industrial Equipment, Telecommunications, or Telematics is required.
**Preferred Experience**
