**Job Summary**
We are currently seeking an **_Environmental Compliance Specialist_** . This position is in **_Pueblo, CO._**
Provides oversight and support in the area of Environmental Compliance to Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP) personnel during all phases of the project. Performs technical work and mentors the Environmental Compliance Representative's (ECR's) technical activities and performance associated with required monitoring and inspections. May prepare and revise project forms and procedures. Demonstrates ability to multi-task by conducting environmental compliance surveillances and inspections, as a primary function while coordinating compliance issues with project staff and managers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Performs environmental compliance inspections, surveys, assessments, or investigations during facility systemization, operations, and closure to ensure compliance with environmental laws, permits, and site requirements. Understands environmental compliance plans, specifications, modifications, RCRA Permit, and operating procedures for a Chemical Weapons destruction and disposal facility and how they are related to Federal, State, and Local environmental laws and regulations, as well as U.S. Army regulations associated with the handling and destruction of chemical warfare munitions for the purpose of verifying compliance with regulations and requirements.
+ Contributes to the development and implementation of policies, plans and procedures to demonstrate compliance with the regulatory requirements based on environmental statutes, regulations, and permit conditions; understands and/or assesses applicability of these requirements to a chemical demilitarization facility.
+ Trains Environmental Compliance Representatives (ECR) on day-to-day duties and responsibilities.
+ Reviews and approves routine inspection reports and processes of the environmental compliance group. Develops, prepares and communicates project reports in specified timeline, including the Daily Report to the Environmental Manager. Prepares and delivers correspondence, technical reports, and presentations. May assist in the preparation of periodic and ad hoc summaries, analysis, and reports of environmental and sustainability programs.
+ Provides technical assistance to plant construction, systemization, and operations personnel and managers based on knowledge and understanding of referenced standards, RCRA permit, regulatory requirements, and pertinent standards.
+ Utilizes basic knowledge of construction, the ability to read and understand plans and specifications, the ability to recognize deviations from plans and how they might impact environmental compliance, and the ability to observe operating and maintenance practices and determine compliance with procedures and standards.
**Key Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering or environmental sciences (e.g., biology or chemistry) or equivalent work/training experience.
+ 3-5 years trained and experienced in multiple environmental compliance disciplines, such as air quality, water quality, hazardous waste management, pollution prevention, and environmental cleanup or two years of direct experience in environmental compliance issues in multiple environmental disciplines associated with the construction, systemization, or operations of a chemical demilitarization facility; experience applying environmental compliance within the context of an Environmental Management System or a similar State environmental permit review process.
+ The candidate must have proven technical writing skills on scientific documentation or environmental studies involving compliance with environmental regulations and must be able to communicate verbally and relay technical information and ideas. The ability to critically review and provide meaningful comments and edits to technical documents is essential. Proven technical writing is required, as is demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software.
**Additional selection and retention criteria will include:**
+ Must be a US Citizen. The applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements to be placed in a Public Trust Position. In addition, applicant selected will be subject to qualification in accordance with Army Regulation 50-6, for placement in the U.S. Army Chemical personnel Reliability Program (CPRP).
+ Interact effectively with government and contractor personnel thru written correspondence or verbal communication.
+ Flexibility to respond to urgent project requests and/or changing priorities. This position may be required to work a schedule of rotating shifts (8-12 hours nominally), including weekends and holidays.
+ Drug-free workplace; urine testing for drugs are mandatory.
+ This position involves work near or with toxic and hazardous materials and requires ability to wear protective clothing/mask. Must be clean-shaven; must wear seat belts when driving or riding in vehicles on post.
+ Work requires outdoor, as well as indoor and office, exposures in all weather conditions; requires the ability to wear an air purifying respirator; requires the ability to climb ladders and stairs, walk on uneven surfaces, and make observations in bright and low light conditions.
+ PCAPP is subject to Army Regulations (AR50-6 Chemical Surety Program and AR190-59 Unescorted Access Program) which govern persons performing work under the Chemical Personnel Reliability Program (CPRP) and Unescorted Access Program (UAP). Eligibility to be placed in a CPRP or UAP position requires US citizenship. Employees must favorably complete a series of screenings to include but not limited to: a National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) security investigation, drug/alcohol testing and medical examination.
+ PCAPP operates on a 24/7 schedule. This position may be required to work a schedule of rotating shifts including nights, weekends or holidays. All employees are subject to and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of continued employment for the duration of their assignment. Respiratory screening and the ability to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) may be required for this position. The ability to obtain/maintain access to the Pueblo Chemical Depot is required.

The Document Specialist will be assigned to one or more projects. The Document Specialist must have an understanding of right-of-way projects and solar operations, timelines, and project requirements.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Report to the Documents Supervisor who is responsible for the project/assignment. The Supervisor will provide the scope of work and general guidance to ensure work is completed in accordance with Percheron’s policies and procedures and client expectations. If a Documents Supervisor is not assigned, report to the LAD Managing Director.
  • Manage influx of multiple daily requests with close attention to time-sensitive information, and task deadlines and be able to schedule overlapping activities to meet deadlines.
  • Review and analyze title information and documents, LTC, and title opinions. Enter and maintain ownership information and documents in multiple database systems.
  • Review and understand right-of-way documents, and maintain easement records and documents in various database systems.
  • Prepare option/easement documents as requested using approved templates and wording, in compliance with project instructions, confirming that all provisions are approved for use by the client or Project Manager and provisions are within the scope of the project.
  • Scan documents as received, upload them into the document management system and enter data into appropriate database system(s) with close attention to how documents affect the project.
  • Prepare various letters for mailout, including Introductory Letters, Survey Notification, Survey Permission, Environmental Survey Notification, and others.
  • QA/QC documents created by another Document Specialist.
  • Process option and easement packages and necessary reports under the direction and guidance of the Supervisor for funding requests and/or transfer of final documents. Confirm that all requests follow the project instructions set out for the project.
  • Maintain title records, easement records, documents, forms, and multiple databases through data entry, manual filing, building files, and other applications. Keep all files organized and updated.
  • Verify payment calculations.
  • Assist Project Manager with special projects as needed.
  • Produce various reports for the Project Manager as requested.
  • Coordinate mapping of all tracts with GIS and updating of the status of tracts. Must be familiar with the KMZ and CAD sites, and ability to utilize line lists efficiently.
  • Submit documents for recording to county recorder or clerk offices as dictated by project instructions and/or Project Manager.
  • Securely maintain all original documents and project data.
  • Assist other business units or departments with special projects as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

  • Ability to work independently and QA/QC others work with accuracy.
  • Ability to plan and organize workload, adjust to changing priorities, and work well under pressure without supervision.
  • Possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.

Irrigation Specialist Responsibilities :

Position summary:

Support the utility operations team with direct support for scheduling, entering customer information, documenting work and providing support for the team.

Pay Range:$23.32 - $30.04 (Determined by the current Collective Bargaining Agreement)

Reporting Relationship:Supervisor of Utility Support

Location:Pueblo, Colorado

Essential Functions:

• In coordination with the Utility Construction Planning and Operations departments schedule daily work for service and operational employees and/or crews through scheduling tools.

• Monitor scheduling tools and provide support to Operations Supervisors with scheduling employees for PTO, training and appointments.

• Provide support for updating schedules on company intranet sites and community emergency plans.

• Support meter issue investigations, processing meter changes and equipment orders.

• Support service-related work in coordination with the Operations Supervisor.

• Assist with expense reporting, processing invoices, submit invoices for 3rd party damage and invoicing technical services.

• Assist in tracking contract deposits and refunds for customer construction.

• Assist with processing, scanning, filing and maintaining operations related materials and data entry into electronic systems.

• Provide support to Supervisor regarding customer matters.

• Assist with arranging meetings.

Floor Care: Provides basic and specialty cleaning services to all areas of the hospital, focusing primarily on the operations of heavy mechanical equipment (e.g., scrubbers, buffers, polishers, extractors, wet vacuuming equipment, etc.) used in the cleaning and maintenance of hard and soft (i.e., carpet) flooring surfaces, including stairwells, hallways and public spaces.

Specialty Units: Work includes providing a safe care environment for patients, and staff (visitors as appropriate to setting) within a specialty area (surgical services/perioperative suite, cath lab, endoscopy, etc.) achieved by demonstrating the principles of cleaning, disinfection and quality assurance toward the reduction of harmful pathogens for the benefit of patients, visitors, and staff.

Other: Responsibilities may also include work in the Environmental Services Tech I classification.

  • Responsible for completing as assigned, performs all types of floor care and maintenance throughout the facility, including hard surfaces and carpeting.

  • Adhere to all organizational safety, risk management and infection control standards while promoting a culture of safety.

  • Responsible for cleaning and disinfection of specialty units & equipment. Areas include but are not limited to Surgical Services, Labor Delivery, Critical Care, Endoscopy, MRI, Trauma, Cath Lab, NICU, Mental Health and Burn Unit.

  • Performs duties while demonstrating working knowledge of the health care cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements, proper and safe chemical use, equipment handling, and labor saving products for all items within the specialty environment tasked with servicing.

  • Actively participates in departmental performance improvement initiatives, including but not limited to initiatives to improve patient experience and cleanliness metrics.

  • Follows all environmental and infection prevention practices (i.e. proper cleaning and disinfection protocols and process, hand hygiene, standard & isolation precautions, as well as proper donning and doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Identify and utilize appropriate resources to ensure identified problems or concerns are followed through and resolved

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred. Previous healthcare experience preferred

  • Can distinguish the differences between levels of disinfection and perform low and intermediate level disinfection.

  • Ability to explain orally or in writing the differences between levels of disinfection and perform intermediate level disinfection in areas where required.

  • Knowledge and skills in the use of power equipment, conventional and high-speed floor machines, carpet cleaning equipment, wet, dry and power vacuum equipment and push sweeper.

  • Ability to operate necessary equipment/machines.

**Job Summary:**
Trane Technologies is hiring a Change Agent in Pueblo, CO to support the Lean transformation by ensuring Lean principles, practices and tools are incorporated.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Conducting process mapping to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of current operations; Review existing and new procedures/controls to identify waste and build plans and organize teams to change.
+ Planning and executing Rapid Improvement Events or Just Do Its to eliminate waste from processes resulting in improved productivity.
+ Training/coaching line leaders or office staff in assigned area on problem solving behaviors and basic Lean principles, including flow, on demand, zero defects, standardized work and visual management.
+ Support adherence to event Rapid Improvement Event standard work by ensuring high levels of engagement and collaboration during pre-work, event week and post event weeks.
+ Fostering culture change by training, developing and coaching employees to adopt lean principles behaviors and follow the principles and practices of OpEx.
