Reporting to the Director of Regulatory Affairs, the Regulatory Affairs Specialist will lead and execute regulatory submission and approval activities, primarily focused on U.S. FDA submissions (e.g., 510(k), PMA, IDE), while also supporting global regulatory initiatives. This individual will serve as a key liaison with regulatory agencies and provide critical support for clinical study activities, ensuring compliance and enabling timely market access.
This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to shape regulatory strategies for a next-generation Class III cardiovascular device. The position may be tailored to the appropriate seniority level (e.g., Senior or Principal) based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regulatory planning and execution for U.S. and international submissions
- Prepare and review FDA submissions, including IDEs, 510(k)s, PMAs, and supplements
- Serve as the regulatory representative on cross-functional project teams
- Act as a liaison with the FDA and global regulatory agencies
- Support regulatory aspects of clinical studies and related documentation
- Review and approve documents to ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain certificates, licenses, and global product registrations
- Support audits and quality system maintenance
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in science or engineering (advanced degree a plus)

Perform on demand calibration, repairs, and troubleshooting throughout the Portsmouth facility to ensure an inspection readiness state at all times
Complete safety and cGMP training including classes, reads, and technical requirements
Complete tasks and documentation using SAP, DMS, QMS, Excel, word or other software tools as required per GMP guidelines
Provide engineering support such as tracking and closure of change controls, CAPAs, deviations and general technical assistance. These types of task can also be extended to instrument and system upgrades

- Perform technical imaging, reimaging, and deployment of systems and peripherals
- Triage and resolve device technical support issues; maintain proper documentation
- Log warranty repair tickets with vendors such as Lenovo, Dell, and HP
- Manage inventory related to imaging and device provisioning
- Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and best practices
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer service oriented with ability to resolve complex issues
- Excellent planning, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information

- Hands-on experience with PCs, desktops, workstations, laptops, and related peripherals
- Familiarity with device provisioning and imaging processes
- Experience with client/server environments is a plus
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or MCSE are preferred
- Ability to walk, sit, stand, use hands, reach with arms, and climb or balance
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (e.g., laptops, PCs, equipment)
- Comfortable standing for extended periods during the workday
