Expected salary range of $144,900 to $161,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**
Performs advanced engineering problem solving in support of power plant operations. Responsible for technical decisions. Possesses superior knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has excellent knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations. Functions with recognized industry-level of expertise in a technical area.
**PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Provides source of technical expertise, guidance, and support for Plant Instrumentation and Controls Systems in the Constellation Power generation fleet. Assures superior engineering support is provided. Drives continuous improvement with respect to engineering activities related to safety, equipment reliability, production, and cost.
+ Strong knowledge of controls, electrical, and I&C engineering including DCS, PLC, and other industrial control system design elements. Prior experience at power generation stations is highly desirable.
+ Ovation, MarkVIe, Allen Bradley and/or T3000 experience
+ Ability to design and analyze a variety of controls systems, control schemes, and perform tuning of plant process systems.
+ Practical understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems with an emphasis on boiler, steam/gas turbine controls is highly desirable.
+ Ability to work on cross-functional teams on minor and major projects. Prepare capital project justification, required work scope, specifications, technical oversight and acceptance testing.
+ Demonstrated ability to provide system/equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis investigation experience is highly preferred.
+ Interface with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and aftermarket vendors in support of required tasks.
+ Implements standards, programs, processes and best practices in support of the Constellation fleet.
+ Available for rotating shift work and overtime as required to meet normal task deadlines, projects, outages, and emergent support needs
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
+ BS Engineering, AND
+ 10+ years professional experience with exceptional performance.
+ Approval of VP Engineering required to obtain this classification

Job Summary: As the Project Manager — Site Team Lead , you will plan and oversee a portfolio of large, multi-year mission-critical controls projects—from proposal through close-out. Education & Experience: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience) 10+ years total industry experience with 5+ years in a project-management role (mission-critical or large-scale construction preferred) Proven track record for at least 2 years at the previous PM level PMP, PE, CxA, or similar credential (preferred) Duties & Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Own the master project plan ; drive daily execution for installation, commissioning, and turnover Build trusting relationships with owner reps, GCs, and trade partners; lead OAC and risk-review meetings Develop detailed cost-loaded schedules , two-week look-aheads, and cash-flow forecasts; protect margin through disciplined change-management Draft subcontract scopes, issue contracts, and enforce safety, quality, and manpower standards Champion QA/QC procedures and ensure all field documentation meets Thermo QMS requirements Mentor project engineers, superintendents, and coordinators; promote a positive, collaborative culture Project-Management Responsibilities: Communicate in a clear, proactive manner with customers and trade partners Complete assigned tasks accurately, on schedule, and under budget Anticipate out-of-scope issues and resolve them with the customer and team Seek opportunities for additional work and new customers Provide accurate project forecasts and projections; adjust plans as needed to meet milestones Generate and administer change orders; maintain awareness of contract terms and specs Ensure the team adheres to realistic schedules, budgets, and safety policies Supervisory Responsibilities: Direct and oversee junior or subordinate staff—coordinating construction, commissioning, and maintenance tasks—while providing coaching, performance feedback, and crisis leadership when required.
