As a Product Manager of Mercury Controllers, you will drive the overall success for a world leading access control platform. You will drive requirements and investments with key stakeholders and own the product's virtual P&L all while driving commercial, technical and customer alignment.

You will identify market problems, collect and document customer needs, analyze the competitive landscape and work with physical access control system partners (OEMs), regional product marketing and key commercial leaders within Mercury to develop product strategies and roadmaps, document market and product requirements and drive product definition into Mercurys new product introduction (NPI), innovation and sustaining development processes. You will have end-to-end ownership of Mercury controllers while collaborating with other product line owners across controllers, readers, tools, credentials and mobile to create better-together value propositions that delights customers and partners.

As our Product Manager, Mercury Controllers, youll support HIDs successby:

  • Developing a strategic vision aligned with business priorities and aspirations.
  • Driving innovation and differentiation for your products by understanding customer and market problems, competitive positioning and technology trends.
  • Interfacing with partners and end customers along with internal stakeholders, aggregating voice of customer input and prioritizing product development amongst numerous priorities.
  • Performing competitive analysis, identify opportunities to differentiate and win, driving ideas and collaboration amongst the development team and other internal stakeholders.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and existing product lines, including developing pricing strategies and supporting the development of channel strategies.
  • Working together with OEM partners and internal marketing communications groups to form product positioning and create sales and marketing materials for product launch.
  • Being in constant contact with OEM partners attending partner sync calls, prioritizing new feature requests, escalating critical issues and working with support and engineering to drive partner and customer satisfaction.
  • Being available to sell the value of Mercury controllers at partner, customer and industry events

YourExperienceand Background include:

  • Bachelor's degree (Master is beneficial but not required).
  • 5+ years of experience in similar role.
  • Product Management experience across multiple customer types, technologies and product development methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of the physical access control industry is highly desired.
  • Strong background in electronics, particularly low voltage systems, is a must.
  • Product development expertise from concept to product launch.
  • Ability to make difficult trade-offs and intelligent risk taking.
  • Market focused mindset and ability to anticipate changes in customer's needs.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Work You'll Do
As a Manager, you will work in a collaborative and diverse team environment designing, implementing, and operating finance and accounting managed services to our clients. Deloitte brings world-class operational know-how, advanced analytics, and industry-specific hybrid solutions experience to our clients; specializing in but not limited to: Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report and Financial Planning and Analysis.

+ Work directly with clients during the sales cycle to understand their managed service requirements, including processes organization, and technology landscape.
+ Support proposal effort, staffing plans and pricing models. Design and architect managed service solutions, transition plans, and ongoing operations policies and procedures.
+ Manage engagement quality, risk, timelines, and resources during transition and ongoing operations.
+ Identify and implement operational process improvements that drive increased efficiency using leading practices in AI and RPA.
+ Manage select client relationships /stakeholders (internal and external) throughout the engagement.
+ Contribute to initiatives which drive growth of the practice which include developing eminence, thought ware, and point-of-view materials.
+ Perform role of mentor and coach to help others achieve their career objectives.
Qualifications
Required:
+ 10+ years of consulting and/or BPO experience in Finance and Accounting in a Managed Service environment
+ 3+ years of experience as the Delivery Lead of a CFO managed service operation. Scope of delivered services should include operations across Finance including Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, and Financial Planning and Analysis
+ 2+ years of experience managing a team
+ Business development experience including sales and RFP response development
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ Ability to travel up to 25% based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
