• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience building and managing a guest first team culture across the store
• Skills in guest engagement; problem solving and resolution

As an Executive Team Leader, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:
• Create a guest-obsessed culture that prioritizes the guest experience and delivers on store sales goals
• Anticipate staffing needs, talent plan and recruit - both long and short term.
• Manage leaders to follow up on training completion, check for understanding, and provide continuous education opportunities.
• Engage in consistent and meaningful development conversations throughout the critical touch points with Team leaders.
• Personalize recognition and appreciation to reinforce critical guest service behaviors and promote a positive team and guest centric culture.
• Establish a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management (observe, recognize and coach) on critical behaviors.
• Understand business reporting and guest insights to understand, troubleshoot and follow up on opportunity areas.
• Quickly respond to any negative guest shopping experience by de-escalating the situation and ensuring your team understands and feels supported to make things right for the guest.
• Create a scheduling plan in partnership with your Team Leaders based off of monthly and weekly business workload and guest traffic.
• Plan, manage and follow-up on organizational and operational change.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. Lead team to work in the same way and hold others accountable to this commitment.
• As a key carrier, follow all safe and secure training and processes.
• Address store needs (emergency, regulatory visits, etc.).
• All other duties based on business needs.

Our Summer Internship Program is a nine-week internship taking place June through August.
This program is designed to provide students with a challenging, meaningful and supportive internship experience that replicates, as closely as possible, the experience of being a full-time BlackRock Analyst. The program begins with an orientation that offers a thorough overview of the firm and the opportunity to hear from a number of senior leaders.
Following orientation, interns receive on-the-job training and are given day-to-day responsibilities to contribute to their teams throughout the summer. Programming also features a speaker series, mentoring and various networking opportunities, including activities with our employee networks.
If you enjoy this program, you should explore our Full-Time Analyst Program, which you can consider applying to after your internship.
**Who can apply:**
Undergraduate or master's students graduating between September 2026 and July 2027.
**Important:**
Candidates can apply for **only one program** (e.g., Summer Internship Program **or** Quantitative Master's Internship Program) and **up to two functions within that program** (e.g., Investment Research and Analytics & Modeling). You must apply for both opportunities using the same program application.

Breakthru Beverage Group is seeking to hire Sales Leadership Development Interns for our Washington, DC Market. This is a full-time 10-week internship, June 2026 thru August 2026, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Our 10-week Summer Sales Leadership Development Internship Program in Washington, DC offers college juniors a glimpse into the Beverage Alcohol Industry with a focus on the Distribution tier of the business.
As an Intern, you will sharpen your leadership skills, tackle real-world challenges, and collaborate with the best leaders in the industry.
You will have the opportunity to network with executives and key leaders, participate in experiential learning and social events with other interns and our leadership development professionals.

As a leading national distributor in beverage alcohol, our responsibility is to determine the strategic path to growth and facilitate activation with our sales teams.
**Job Description:**
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Through this internship, you will gain hands-on experience with business-critical projects, data analysis and strategy development, while collaborating with cross functional team members in sales, field marketing, finance, and more.
+ Lead the creation and execution of business analysis and sales strategy related projects to drive business growth.
+ Work closely with commercial sales leadership and team to ensure effective communication, timely and complete delivery of projects, and future execution of project recommendations.
+ Partner with sales, marketing, and other cross functional partners to identify business opportunities.
+ Other projects as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
+ Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027.
+ The ideal candidate will possess natural curiosity, a willingness to learn, and the capability to engage and influence a diverse set of colleagues and customers to drive positive business outcomes.
+ Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Analytics, or related field.
+ Interested in pursuing a career path in Sales Leadership or Field Marketing.
+ Must be 21 years of age at time of internship.
+ Must maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
+ Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate complex issues and conduct root cause analysis to resolve problems.
+ Must be able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management abilities.
+ Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
**Competencies:**
+ Accountable for meeting own targets, work is reviewed periodically.
