Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Capture Manager with a focus on Competitive Intelligence and Customer Analysis to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in gathering and analyzing competitive intelligence, understanding customer needs, and developing winning strategies. Familiarity with Black Hats and Win Strategy Workshops is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct comprehensive competitive intelligence analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
+ Analyze customer requirements and feedback to develop tailored solutions and strategies.
+ Provide overall leadership and management of the program capture and changes.
+ Develop and implement capture strategies.
+ Lead and participate in strategic reviews and workshops (e.g., Black Hat reviews, Win Strategy Workshops).
+ Evaluate market dynamics, competitor landscape, government regulations, and potential opportunities.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement capture strategies.
+ Lead effective storyboarding and development of strategic and proposal win themes and discriminators
+ Develop targeted questions and interview technical and program management staff to extract critical information necessary to present technical and managerial solutions in the overall presentation strategy.
+ Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior management.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience, or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
+ In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in competitive intelligence and customer analysis.
+ Familiarity with Black Hats and Win Strategy Workshops.
+ Demonstrated track record of successful capture management in a competitive environment.
+ Experience in providing overall leadership and management of the program capture and changes.
+ Demonstrated experience leading and managing capture and change within large, complex systems.
+ Demonstrated effective analytical and research skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
+ Experience in the defense or aerospace industry.
+ Knowledge of government contracting processes and regulations.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $124K-231K. For California, New Jersey, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $143K-266K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Position Summary:
The Technical Customer Support Analyst will provide end-customers, solution partners and our internal sales teams technical support and expertise for Vuzix smart glasses and related software products. The team member will also collaborate with and provide escalated support to the offshore Tier 1 support partner team. Based on customer interactions they will also provide customer needs, customer experience and product requirement insights into the Software Engineering team, which may include recommendations for product enhancements.
This is a fast-paced dynamics role that requires constant creative thinking and problem solving. Takes part in all aspects of the development cycle such as planning, developing, and at time will support testing the software product. This position will also support the functions of the R&D – Software Department to meet the requirements of the relevant ISO 9001:2015 standards based on the quality objectives established by Top Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gain expert user level understanding of all Vuzix’s products and a deep understanding of how they are deployed and used in customer business operations.
- Gain in-depth understanding of partner and 3rd party applications and solutions that operate on or leverage Vuzix’s products to solve customer business needs.
- Apply in-depth technical expertise and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve escalated inquiries and problems that customers report:
- Reviewing/troubleshooting Java or Android code, reviewing logs, testing wireless networking environments, and exercising Android-based devices across software and components, while managing case backlog to department standards.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert to guide Vuzix customers and partners in successfully developing their own apps for our devices:
- Consulting on Vuzix’s custom SDKs, connectivity, speech services, video streaming, sensors, storage, navigation and more. Recommend optimizations and stabilizations in customer solutions.
- Write and review articles and/or sample apps to add to Vuzix’s product knowledge base.
- Modify information on the Vuzix Developer Center and Vuzix.com support site.
- Occasionally attend customer implementations and industry conferences, showcasing how Vuzix’s products can make businesses more productive, collaborative, and innovative; occasional travel for trade shows or customer visits is required.
- As a customer-facing domain expert, collaborate closely with others on future products and enhancements to guide next-generation product design and feature priorities; determine feasibility and customer satisfaction of proposed items.
- Support the Software Engineering department (e.g. testing, product/solution validation).
- Performs other duties as assigned within scope and responsibilities of this role.

Minimal Qualifications:
