Ida Crown Jewish Academy is seeking a highly motivated and organized Customer Specialist to join our team. The Customer Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction and success of our students and their families by providing excellent customer service and support. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all prospective and enrolled families, providing prompt and professional responses to their inquiries and concerns.
- Manage student enrollments, transfers, and withdrawals, ensuring accurate and timely records are maintained.
- Conduct tours for prospective families and assist with admissions process, providing information on our programs, curriculum, and campus facilities.
- Collaborate with school administration, faculty, and staff to ensure smooth and efficient communication with families, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Prepare materials and participate in school events, such as open houses and orientations, to showcase the school to the community.
- Monitor student attendance and follow up with families if there are any unexcused absences or tardiness.
- Oversee the distribution and collection of forms, including enrollment contracts, health records, and school policies, and ensure they are up to date and complete.
- Maintain an organized and detailed system for tracking student information and communicate any changes to relevant parties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in an academic institution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs.
- Understanding of Jewish customs and traditions, as well as the desire to work in a religious environment.
