Position SummaryAs the Manager, Business Intelligence and Analytics you will manage a highly technical, Customer-oriented team and collaborate with leadership, stakeholders, and directly with Customers to enhance our analytical differentiation through innovative business intelligence solutions. You will create complex analytical solutions that align with complex business needs, advance STERIS' data-driven culture across multiple divisions by coaching staff through formal training and on-the-job during Customer interactions. You will also facilitate the development and support of the sales and operations go-to-market strategy to drive performance.
As the Manager, you will present foundational solutions that provide insight across the entire business division, including financial, operational, and Customer behavior. The reports you develop will represent performance across multiple areas of the organization and will be critical to the development of the strategic and operational plans.
*This position is located onsite in Mentor, Ohio with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule.
What You'll do as a Manager, Business Intelligence and Analytics- Responsible for the statistical modeling, metric definition and visualization that enables business leaders to make decisions throughout the organization.
- Determine direction, goals, objectives, and performance of business intelligence solutions required to meet business objectives.
- Participate in project planning to align project goals and timelines.
- Present key insights to Senior Management with insightful recommendations to improve business performance.
- Lead projects to develop and deliver a self-service interactive presentation platform utilizing a variety of technologies.
- Ensure reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) are accurate, high quality, intuitive to ensure utilization within the organization.
- Develop training content, materials, and educational curriculum for business stakeholders on data tools, dashboards, and analytical reporting.
- Demonstrate and train sales, operations, business analysts, and finance staff on analytical interpretation, standard report execution, and presentation preparation.
- Identify, analyze, interpret trends, or patterns in complex data sets and introduces policy recommendations.
- Provide comprehensive review of financial and operational performance using data visualization across multiple forms of media.
- Produce pricing and profitability analytics along with market analysis to define pricing structure.
- Respond promptly to reporting requests and manage team to support ad hoc analysis requests.
- Provide complex territory analytics with a comprehensive review business and operational performance.
- Act as the subject matter expert in support analytics for marketing and operational performance.
- Supply complete Customer engagement analysis and present recommendation results to organization.
- Engage and lead analysis development of Customer tracking system data systems and ensure effective reporting for Customer service portals.
- Work closely with senior management and key stakeholders across all areas of management to gather requirements, design solutions, and align BI deliverables to meet organizational needs.
- Define standard work for all reporting and document steps to repeat analysis.
- Ensure quality results including the ability to validate report results.
- Offer clear direction and guidance to employees on performance, project development, and deliverables.
- Eliminate obstacles for team to deliver results on time to project plan.
Required:
- Bachelors Degree required
- Minimum of 7 years experience in business intelligence and/or business analytics
- 5+ years designing, analyzing, translating, and presenting complex data into management information
- 5+ years technical experience working within databases and datawarehouses

- Experience transforming complex datasets, code, and business requirements into easily understood actionable dashboards and reports
