ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF) : Under some supervision, the Lead Data & Business Intelligence Associate is primarily responsible for the sourcing, manipulation, preparation, and validation of data for consumption - which may be in the form of production reports or as analytical data sets to answer questions or to perform predictive analysis. YOU HAVE:

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field

• Master's degree preferred (MBA, MS in Analytics/Data Science, or equivalent)

• Ideally 7+ years of data analytics experience

• 3+ years of people management experience leading technical teams

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise-scale analytics environments, including performance tuning, dashboard lifecycle management, and user access governance

Preferred Experience

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Power BI, Tableau Cloud)

• Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, machine learning, and predictive modeling

• Experience with data governance frameworks, data quality management, and compliance requirements

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Compensation Range:

$105,000.00 - $195,000.00

Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Manager to lead a Programming and Data Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a technical environment consisting of an MS stack of products, including an SQL Server Database supporting our ERP solution, as well as a Microsoft environment with an MS SQL database cluster used for various other business applications and data storage. Our organization operates in a mixed server and cloud environment, leveraging Azure and MS SQL Servers, and extensively using APIs to interface with SaaS solutions.

In addition to leading a team of technical professionals, you will collaborate directly with key business users to ensure thorough needs assessments are completed and requirements are effectively gathered.

The team you will lead is responsible for the following areas:
