You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for supporting Nestle’s Field Sales organization with the design, development and management of strategic, tactical and operational analytical solutions. As part of the Business Intelligence team, you will focus on the management of the Large Format Retail Team reporting infrastructure by designing and building data models, data transfer routines, reports, dashboards and data visualizations using data management, reporting and automation tools. The solutions you implement will allow senior management and business stakeholders to analyze the performance of the Field Sales organization and its key initiatives by identifying, monitoring and predicting sales trends and outcomes. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the Large Format Retail Team and drive understanding and adoption of Enable Hub’s analytics services. You will also provide input with the Enable Hub team in the definition of the analytics and technology roadmaps.

As a Team Member in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Development of well-organized, insightful reports, dashboards, and other forms of data visualizations to support strategic, tactical and operational business decisions. Provide analysis in areas such as KPI performance against targets & goals, sales operations, forecast accuracy, segmentation, resource allocation, store compliance, merchandising, geospatial, and customer service. Ensuring that dashboards and visualizations adhere to UX best practices, design library and standards guide

  • Partnering with key stakeholders to collect, document, and analyze business requirements and translating them into tangible reporting and system deliverables with a clearly defined acceptance criterion

  • Identifying the data sources that that will support reporting requirements and managing integration workflows to source, transform and load data into consumable datasets for reporting and analysis

  • Implementing data quality processes to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data sources and reports by leveraging automation and monitoring capabilities to proactively identify anomalies

  • Assisting members of analytics team and business stakeholders with ad-hoc and self-service reporting capabilities

  • Helping the Commercial Intelligence Hub and Business Intelligence leadership identify business process efficiency/improvements

  • Provide training and support to end users to facilitate change management efforts and to drive adoption of report and dashboard solutions. These activities often require cross functional collaboration and the coordination of activities such as user acceptance testing, production deployments, training and post deployment support (hypercare)

  • Documenting technical requirements, data catalog, business definitions, architectural diagrams, source-to-target mappings, process dependencies, flows, and decisions related to the development cycle of analytical solutions.

EXPERIENCE:

• Prior experience with an integrated data management environment

• Functional experience in CPG industry (Category experience a plus)

• Knowledge of data analysis/tools and data modeling with the ability to find and share trends from the data to make informed and objective recommendations.

• 2+ years of experience with a focus on data analytics including independent problem solving, and effective communication with peers and stakeholders at all levels.

• 2+ years of experience creating reports, dashboards, and/or summarizing large amounts of data from multiple data sources into actionable intelligence to drive business decisions

• Proven experience with data management tools like Microsoft Data Flow/Factory, Databricks, Knime, Alteryx, SSIS for data transfer and preparation

• Experience creating detailed process documentation and conducting knowledge transfer

• Experience implementing master data and data quality solutions

• Has a track record of successfully juggling multiple demands

Requirements - A minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX technologies and dashboard creation.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including data modeling and business intelligence analysis.
- Experience working with XML and JSON file formats for data processing.
- Familiarity with Python for data engineering tasks and automation.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and optimize data querying processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data and derive meaningful, actionable insights for stakeholders and business development partners.
- Function as point of contact for data and analytical usage across multiple projects, and guide operational partners on product performance and solution improvement/maturity options.
- Analyze extracted data, identify trends and provide insights and analyses around operations and project data.
- Develop and implement new metrics, functions, and scripts as KPIs as needed.

- Code to defined requirements to segment populations from large enterprise datasets, verify data accuracy, and output files per specifications.

- Create and maintain all documentation including obtaining and collecting artifacts as needed.

- Ad hoc tool development to support operational and under served analytical areas.
- Learning emerging technologies and systems of need for company initiatives.
- Activities to support team communication and strategy implementation (meetings, etc.).
- Project management activities.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in related field.

- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.

- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Preferred Requirements

- Master's degree in a related field

- Experience writing SQL statements against a normalized database

- Experience using an enterprise business intelligence platform such as; MicroStrategy, PowerBI, Tableau, Business Objects, Success KPI etc.

- Prior consulting experience in government health programs, particularly Medicaid
