The Enterprise Data Office within the Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) function oversees the end-to-end data "ecosystem" including data governance, architecture, standards, controls, metrics, Data Concern Resolution Management (DCRM), reporting and risk management. Objectives include improving data governance and management; defining and maintaining the data architecture and standards; increasing business and functional engagement; improving data comprehensiveness, quality and coverage; reducing the inventory of data issues; and accelerating data access and validation for new projects.
The team partners with subject matter experts in Compliance, Compliance Technology, the Enterprise Chief Data Office and other groups to drive strategy and remediate concerns.
The Data Quality Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role responsible for leading and overseeing the remediation of data concerns and issues within ICRM. The lead works closely with various departments to identify, analyze and resolve data related problems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong background in data management, data governance and problem-solving will be needed for this role.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate with business units to understand data-related problems and assist with developing effective controls.
+ Collaborate with appropriate business stakeholders to implement data quality controls and processes .
+ Responsible for establishing and enforcing Data Quality Controls policies within ICRM Chief Data office team
+ Conduct regular data quality assessments of the controls and work with staff members as needed.
+ Monitor and report on the progress of data quality controls to senior management.
+ Provide guidance and support to business units on data management best practices to prevent data concerns.
+ Conduct training sessions and workshops on the controls when needed .
+ Monitor audit requests and draft responses as they relate to ICRM data controls.
+ Support ICRM Assessment Unit (AU) including control performance and centralized testing of controls.
+ Recommend improvements to MCA control and monitoring definitions to make them more efficient, effective, and globally consistent.

**Qualifications:**
+ 5-7 years experience in Data Management and Governance
+ 5 years of relevant experience preferably in Financial Services
+ Familiarity with the MCA process and Risk & Controls system preferred.
+ Microsoft Office Suite Experience (Excellent with PowerPoint presentations)
+ Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

  • Collibra DQ preferred, as this will be a Collibra DQ Analyst

Good experience in DQ, IDQ and CDQTechnical expertise regarding data modeling, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques. Advanced knowledge of statistical applications within Financial Services to interpret data requests and identify data analytics opportunities. Advanced knowledge and experience using statistical packages for analyzing data sets (Excel, Access, SPSS). Ability to lead, influence and direct peers, subordinates and management.Ability to make effective decision making on complex matters.Ability to convey a sense or urgency and drive Ability to exercise stakeholder confidentiality and discretionary judgment.Ability to adjust to new developments/changing circumstances.Ability to interact with senior level management; experience interfacing with multiple levels of the organizational structure.Ability to maintain and report on confidential information in an appropriate manner.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Collaborates with technology/infrastructure staff to identify data relationships and functional requirements.Functional Desc:Designs and monitors control systems which ensure the integrity and security of data and for advising on the optimal use of the organizations computing resources. Assesses the completeness, accuracy, validity and efficiency of information processing, business and application systems, reviews the operations, systems software, systems development and security of the organizations computing environment, and recommends appropriate software and hardware acquisitions.

Responsibilities: Engage data owners and stewards, business users, and the data management team to ensure Data Governance and Quality processes are implemented and managed, including updating and maintaining documentation, identifying and documenting critical data elements, preparing and managing business and technical metadata, defining data quality thresholds, and identifying and triaging data integrity issues. Responsible for the administration of data governance and quality software, maintaining a corporate data dictionary, ensuring data quality standards are met. Organizes, coordinates, and assists cross-functional teams in planning, development, and execution of Data Governance oriented business processes at the operational level. Measure progress against data definition and quality performance targets, following up with business representatives as necessary. Maintain data governance processes and controls by working with project and business leaders to analyze the impact of future changes on critical data and mitigate any potential risks to data quality. Builds enterprise dashboards and reporting to ensure proper communication of the Data Governance program performance. Act as a change agent with a capacity to successfully measure progress. Proven skills with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Access required. Personal initiative to find opportunities, lead change, improve processes, and solve problems; proven ability to collaborate with business data SMEs throughout the organization. Proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity. Must be self-directed and have excellent initiative and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelors or Master's in computer science, MIS, or related field of study. Senior level experience in a Data Governance, Data Management, or data-centric role. Data analysis techniques and tools (i.e., SQL, Python, R). Business intelligence tools such as (i.e., Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI). Data profiling techniques and tools. Experience in the mortgage industry or related field is a plus. Strong knowledge of industry-leading data quality and data protection management practices and tools. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and translate business needs into functional and/or technical requirements to meet the needs of the enterprise. Strong knowledge and understanding of data governance and data quality and how they affect business decisions. Ability to design and recommend governance structures and control frameworks for the ongoing management of data. Ability to perform root cause analysis and make recommendations for the remediation of data governance and quality issues. Proven skills with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Access required. Personal initiative to find opportunities, lead change, improve processes, and solve problems. Proven ability to collaborate with business data SMEs throughout the organization. Proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
