The MCI Young Adult Peer Mentor (YAPM) is an integral member of the interdisciplinary youth mobile crisis team, providing strength-based, peer-to-peer education, coaching, modeling, guidance, and support to youth within the Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention (YMCI) component of the larger Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC).
The peer mentor assists youths through their lens of lived experience as a youth who has lived with behavioral health challenges during their youth in a variety of settings, including community locations. YAPM provide specialized expertise based on sharing their own lived experience of mental health challenges with purpose and intent to inspire hope and motivation in a youth who is dealing with similar experiences. YAPM will guide youth through their treatment process providing peer support and advocacy for the youth, all in accordance with the individual’s goals. Working in coordination with the interdisciplinary team, the YAPM will use their recovery experience as a positive model for individual’s process.

ResponsibilitiesThis role champions the development and execution of AI and Generative AI strategies throughout the organization. It serves as a subject matter expert and executive to drive, develop, contribute to, facilitate, support and ensure alignment on artificial intelligence strategy and governance across all cross-functional areas and supporting operating units within WRBC. This role plays a critical part in contributing to and coordinating efforts to operationalize a vision for artificial intelligence. This pivotal role demands a candidate who is not only a strategic visionary but also possesses a robust background in implementing AI and machine learning technologies, combined with exemplary leadership and collaborative skills. The incumbent will play an instrumental role in guiding our AI trajectory.
Strategic Development & Facilitation & Expertise:
- Stay current on the fast-moving AI capabilities and products in general and in the insurance space. Collaborate with senior leadership at Corporate and Operating Units to develop and refine the company’s artificial intelligence strategy and implementation plans. Ensure well thought out pilot projects and alignment of AI initiatives with WRBC’s overall business objectives.
Training and Development:
- Train, coordinate and collaborate with AI Champions and other communities. Promote training programs that enhance employee understanding and capabilities in utilizing AI tools effectively. Support the creation of training materials and coordinate logistics for training sessions. Collaborate with OUs, Corporate Functions and Shared Services to share knowledge and learning opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with various departments including Data & Analytics (DNA), Audit, HR, EPMO (Enterprise Project Management Office), Legal & Compliance, Procurement, BTS (Business Technology Services) & Infrastructure, and Information Security where AI strategy and operational needs intersect. Promote effective communication and collaboration among departments to ensure cohesive AI integrations. Work with BTS and DNA to provide workspace and tools necessary to implement strategy.
Compliance:
- Facilitate the operations of AI governance committee to ensure responsible usage and compliance with regulatory standards. Improve and stabilize. Organize and lead committee meetings, ensuring preparation of agendas, and documented decisions and action items. Collaborate with DNA, Legal & Compliance, BTS for AI model governance and related data governance. Coordinate with Legal and Compliance in monitoring regulatory standards and internal policies related to AI and data usage.
Change Management:
- Oversee change management initiatives related to AI adoption across the company. Support, develop, coordinate and implement strategies to manage the impact of AI on business processes and resource roles.
• Experience in leading implementation of AI within business processes.• Experience leading AI transformational and change management projects in the business with the ability to work with cross functional teams to achieve desired goals.• Sound understanding of technology, business and operations with hands on experience in delivering projects across the various functions. • Creative thinker with experience developing strategies and solutions built on digital technologies.• The ability to prioritize, manage and deliver efficient and creative solutions within tight timescales and budgetary constraints.• Experience with managing governance committee/processes and ensuring regulatory compliance.• Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.• An eye for detail and excellent communication and collaboration skills.• Property & Casualty knowledge/experience preferred.
Education Requirement
• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in a technical related field such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics,, or business related discipline.
