With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA's metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The LS-SWIFT Division of KLA's Global Products Group provides patterned wafer inspection systems for high-volume semiconductor manufacturing. Its mission is to deliver market-leading cost of ownership in defect detection for a broad range of applications in the production of semiconductors. Customers from the foundry, logic, memory, automotive, MEMS, advanced packaging and other markets rely upon high-sample wafer inspection information generated by LS-SWIFT products. LS (Laser Scanning) systems enable cost-effective patterned wafer defect detection for the industry's most sophisticated process technologies deployed in leading-edge foundry, logic, DRAM, and NAND fabs. ASRC Federal is looking for an experienced AI Engineer - Intermediate to support their work with the U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) Chief Information Officer (CIO) G6 at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The AI Engineer will lead a small, focused team consisting of an AI engineer and a Data Architect supporting the development and implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) tools across ACC. These tools will enhance decision-making, optimize workflows, improve communication, and automate key project management functions.
The engineer will lead cross-functional collaboration efforts with data scientists, cybersecurity experts, and subject matter experts. The candidate will also support the Program Manager in task execution oversight, ensuring deliverables are timely, accurate, and aligned with the contract's performance standards. Solutions will leverage AI technologies such as Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, and other enterprise AI platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Summary

Help shape next-gen tools in a collaborative, fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities: Build, deploy, and maintain AI/ML solutions. Collaborate with engineers, analysts, domain experts, and infrastructure teams to integrate and optimize ML models. Own the full AI lifecycle: data prep, modeling, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Partner with DevOps to deliver scalable, reliable cloud-based AI systems. Develop MLOps pipelines for automation, versioning, and CI/CD. Coordinate with data teams to streamline ingestion and preprocessing. Support review and integration of third-party AI tools. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Details: This is a direct hire role with a hybrid setup averaging one day a week in the Marietta office. Required Skills: 5+ years in software development. 3+ years building and deploying AI/ML models. Experience with production AI environments. Strong Python or Java skills. Familiar with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn). MLOps and CI/CD experience. Cloud ML tools (e.g., SageMaker, Azure ML, Vertex AI) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes). Solid understanding of ETL, feature engineering, and data workflows. Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and model serving tools (e.g., FastAPI, Flask). Must pass background and drug screening.
