+ The team is looking for an analyst who will support AMER inventory management and business operations for Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
+ This will include monthly inventory reviews, long term forecasts, and orders for the three countries.
**Overall Responsibilities:**
+ As an Inventory and Forecasting Analyst, you will own inventory validations and forecasting, The analyst will engage with business stakeholders who use this data for planning and decision-making.
+ Additionally, the analyst will lead as project manager for recurring forecasting processes, coordinating across multiple teams, and translating inventory data into impactful business decisions.

**Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:**
+ 3+ years managing inventory, demand planning, analytics, and ERP systems.
+ Experience with retail reporting and processes e.g. monthly open to buy, demand planning, and/or unit forecasting.
+ 3+ years of experience in project and partner management.
+ 3+ years managing complex cross-functional projects.
+ Ability to stay organized and communicate effectively across a fast-paced team.

Position Summary
The Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for analyzing historical sales, trends, promotions, seasonality, and market signals to develop accurate demand forecasts. This role supports the companys Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process and contributes to achieving service level targets, reducing excess inventory, and improving inventory turns across a complex, multi-echelon supply chain. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at translating data into actionable inventory and procurement strategies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze historical sales, customer demand, promotional activity, and external trends to build item-level forecasts across national and regional branch networks.
- Maintain and continuously improve forecast accuracy metrics (e.g., MAPE, bias) by SKU, category, and region.
- Collaborate with Inventory Planning, Procurement, and Category Management to align forecasts with stocking strategies and vendor MOQs.
- Support monthly SIOP meetings with forecast variance reporting, product lifecycle updates, and insights on forecast drivers.
- Leverage planning tools and BI platforms (e.g., DRP, Excel, SQL, Power BI) to visualize trends and track forecast performance.
- Incorporate input from Sales and Category teams on upcoming promotions, new product introductions (NPIs), and regional shifts in demand.
- Flag exceptions such as chronic under-forecasting, overstock risk, and demand anomalies; recommend corrective actions.
- Partner with IT and Analytics to refine demand models and enhance system-generated forecasts using machine learning or historical regression techniques.
- Support inventory conversion planning for product transitions, branch rollouts, and network optimization initiatives.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field; APICS/IBF certification is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory analytics within distribution or retail
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas), SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau)
- Experience with demand planning or ERP systems such as PTC Servigistics, JD Edwards, SAP, or similar
- Knowledge of SIOP or IBP process preferred
- Ability to communicate insights clearly and collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience with aftermarket auto parts, high-SKU environments, or regional demand segmentation

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Demand Planner to join our Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) team. This critical role will execute Allegros demand planning process for a specific Business Unit, providing a strong linkage between customer needs, revenue forecasts, and Business Unit decision-making. The Demand Planner will ensure a high level of accuracy in the demand signal to operations, fully considering risks and escalations within the full SIOP process. This role involves close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management across multiple regions to provide consistent inputs to the Demand Planning process, working with the Supply Planning team on constraints and supply options, driving statistical analysis and demand sensing, and improving forecast accuracy. You will also play a key role in driving the Demand Review process in partnership with the Demand Planning Leader.
What You'll Do
Develop and maintain a consensus demand plan for the 0-48 month horizon by collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service.
Create comprehensive unit-level forecasts based on Business Unit segmentation, Product Management guidance, market conditions, and product lifecycle events (new launches, phase-in/out).
Manage statistical forecasts for assigned Business Units at appropriate levels of customer/product aggregation.
Conduct in-depth data analysis to run various statistics and analyses, improving future predictability of demand.
Ensure high levels of performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Forecast Accuracy and Bias.
Perform what-if analysis to create alternate scenarios, ensuring demand signals align with the financial plan.
Document major risks and assumptions in the demand plan, including coordination of new products, projects, and promotions.
Provide regular guidance and inputs to the Supply Planning process to improve execution and facilitate product lifecycle visibility.
Analyze forecast errors, identify root causes, and develop actions to continuously improve unit-level forecast accuracy.
Generate volume and value ($) demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation based on statistical analysis.
Perform forecast analytics using historical data, current backlog, and new product launches to optimize demand signals.
Adjust demand plans for Last Time Buy (LTB), End of Life (EOL), and Phase-In/Phase-Out (PIPO) conditions to minimize inventory risk.
Report on and drive actions to improve monthly forecast accuracy and forecast bias metrics.
Who You Are
Minimum BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field of study.
3-5 years of progressive experience in Demand Planning, operations planning, or a Sales & Operations Planning related functional area.
Experience with Statistical forecasting methodology and parameters is required.
Experience with a Demand Planning tool (e.g., Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP APO module, Forecast Pro).
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
Proficient in Microsoft applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong data analytical skills and experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and delegate.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external customers.

The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for creating accurate forecasts to drive production, inventory, and supply chain decisions. This role works closely with and collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Procurement teams to ensure customer demand is met efficiently while optimizing inventory levels, minimizing costs, and supporting accurate financial forecasts.
**Your Impact:**
+ Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and input from key stakeholders.
