The Senior UX Design Manager will lead a team to articulate the strategy and design for key parts of the company's homepage, web and mobile app shopping experiences, focused on building and mentoring the team and workflow for high impact results. The Senior UX Design Manager will use their deep understanding of consumer app patterns and retail experiences to transform how customers complete their shopping missions in the app and on the website. The Senior UX Design Manager will be accountable for the craft and timely delivery of the team's work and own and present a strong design POV to shape market-leading solutions via the product roadmap. NOTE: this role is 100% onsite, 5 days/week in San Bruno, CA. Access to a shuttle is available.

The Developer Experience design team strives to solve the question of what a great developer tool should be. In this role you would be responsible for leading a small team to deliver user experience designs across multiple projects and tools.The role is highly cross functional and requires building strong partnerships with engineering managers, designers and engineers to pitch innovative ideas, foster a collaborative environment, and enhance the effectiveness and cohesion of the team.
As a leader you will drive design direction with a mix of hands on design work and providing creative direction and feedback to the team. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $198,300 and $342,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
