What you will do.
- Works under direction of the OIT Project Management Office to manage project management responsibilities with or without sub-projects that covers all phases of project management, with activities & responsibilities involving organization/entities external to assigned agency whose primary stakeholders are executives &/or local (e.g., county, city) political organizations/individuals.

Qualifications
4 yrs. exp. in project management (i.e., management & development of project/program requirements, design, development, testing/pilot, training & full scale implementation), with experience to be commensurate with project/program &/or position description on file (e.g., specific human service program area, management information sciences, fiscal); 12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects.

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems division is currently seeking a Regional Manager - Design Build Projects to join our team. This position is based remotely out of the Bay Area, CA
Reporting into the Director for Turnkey Projects and Distributed Energy Resources, the Regional Manager will have a key role in shaping the Project Operations strategy and driving growth within the West region. This role will lead a team that supports the production and completion of electrical turn-key projects up to 35M in value. These projects include upgrades and design/build for grid modernization, substation replacements, hydroelectric plant systems and controls, mission-critical facilities and many others. This strategic position leads the West region within the US and is responsible for managing a team of up 8+ direct reports.
The EESS team offers a comprehensive portfolio of services tailored for every stage of a power system's life cycle-whether it's design, build, or support. Our services integrate and optimize the elements of a power system to make sure it's aligned with business goals. We can help keep your power system safe, efficient, reliable, and up-to-date. We assist customers at every stage of the power system through asset modernization and new project design from power generation to synchronous condensers, to substation and distribution substations, to renewable energy and smart grid engineering, and a wide range of other power focused projects.
In this position you will:
-Develop strategy for growth of the Project Operations business within region, playing an instrumental role in evolving overall strategy.
-Build an effective and skilled staff through recruiting, goal setting, communications, development, appraisal and conformance to company policies.

Bachelor's degree in field(s) of practice. Graduate degree preferred. Management coursework and/or MBA a plus. This level may be achieved with a minimum of 20 years of experience, with at least ten years of design build experience in a management position. Proven interpersonal skills, public speaking and persuasive ability; strong project financial management and team management skills; knowledge of production support systems and personal computer proficiency. Professional Registration in field(s) of practice required, if available. Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) required within one year of assuming this position.

AtkinsRalis seeks an experienced, energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join ourNational Alternative Delivery Group as a Project Director Major Design Build Projects (Highways/Bridges) in Austin, TX. The candidate should possess considerable experience in the Design Build/PPP/Progressive Design Build space and have led major Projects with significant design teams.In this role, you will apply technical expertise and project management experience to manage highway/bridge design teams on a variety of Infrastructure transportation projects nationally, working closely with Contractors and major Agencies. Also performs the standard project functions of production coordination, planning, organizing, directing, controlling, marketing assistance, and financial management. Functions as a mentor to assist others in their training and development. Responsible for project delivery for programs and projects across multiple Business Units.

How will you contribute to the team?
Under direction, provides professional and project management expertise in the direction of highly unconventional projects requiring multiple technical units and/or subcontractors, heavy regulatory agency involvement or extremely complex technical requirements.
Functions as mentor to project managers and technical professionals to assist in their training and development. Also performs the basic project functions of production coordination, planning, organizing, directing, controlling, financial management and marketing.
- Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors, and drafts very complex professional service agreements, arranging for their review and execution by senior management. Conducts QCAP reviews of less complicated professional services agreements.
- Develops enhances standards and procedures for project delivery excellence.
- Directs project team compliance with contract terms, monitors subcontractors' progress, performance and compliance with contractual commitments; participates in contract dispute resolution and litigation concerning project performance, administration and other liability issues; reviews and approves subconsultant and vendor invoices and resolves payment disputes.
- Develops, communicates and manages project quality assurance, administrative procedures, communication guidelines, project deliverable formats and specifications, and progress reporting requirements.
