**Job Overview:**
APTIM's Marketing & Communications (MarCom) team seeks an experienced Graphic Designer to support corporate marketing initiatives with print and digital design projects (e.g., brochures, emails, graphics, and presentations), strategy and brainstorming sessions, and creative planning. This is an opportunity for a professional looking to further advance their career with a national leader and make a significant impact in successfully implementing APTIM's growth strategy.
The ideal candidate is an experienced designer who is well-versed in design principles and experienced in creating compelling graphics to tell the APTIM story to diverse audiences and on multiple platforms. Utilizing marketing tactics, storytelling techniques, and strong project management skills, they will develop graphics for presentations, reports, email, blogs, landing pages, social media campaigns, and both print and digital collateral.
The Graphic Designer is a confident, self-motivated teammate who is eager to learn and won't hesitate to work alongside--and at times lead--team members on projects and tasks of all levels. They will be responsible for the day-to-day process associated with creating and reviewing collateral, ensuring deadlines are met, obtaining approvals on all creative assets, ensuring that assets are delivered or approved on time, and communicating updates to stakeholders.
The Graphic Designer reports directly to the Design Manager.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
+ Ensure marketing materials comply with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
+ Design creative marketing materials and visual concepts using graphic design tools.
+ Develop the visual layout and design of presentations, including slide structure, typography, color palettes, and imagery following specified brand guidelines.
+ Stay updated with design trends and technologies to keep creative assets current.
+ Meets with internal staff, stakeholders, and partners to discuss project requirements and designs.
+ Review collateral to ensure adherence to brand standards.
+ Complete QA/QC checklist before sending for review.
+ Utilize project management software (i.e. Wrike) to manage timelines, deliverables, and workload and for timely creation of assets and collateral.
+ Ensure proper approval routing and record/save final deliverables.
+ Source and manage library of approved images.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
+ Ensure compliance with all APTIM quality and safety policies as well as all OSHA regulations.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in graphic design, fine art, marketing or another relevant field
+ At least five years of experience graphic design in corporate marketing, inhouse agency, or studio at a professional level
+ Strong understanding of design principles, visual hierarchy, and typography
+ Attention to detail and excellent time management, project management, and follow-through
+ Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and collaborate with stakeholders
+ Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects and design skills
+ Strong project management skills with experience utilizing project management programs, marketing calendars, workflows, and deadlines
+ Analytical yet creative skillset with the ability to evaluate information, define challenges or objectives, formulate logical and objective conclusions, and develop solutions
+ Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines effectively
+ Self-starting, organized workstyle with an ability to prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
+ Capability to work effectively and professionally both in a team and independently
+ Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
+ At least three years' experience in presentation design
+ At least three years' experience in digital design for website, email, and social media marketing
