Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from 0.35 per hour to 3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Position Summary
Merjent, Inc. (Merjent) has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Senior Project Manager and Business Development Lead with demonstrated success in the environmental permitting process. The successful candidate will join our existing consulting division and focus on our western expansion effort, which includes expanding Merjent's presence in the western U.S. Technical knowledge of federal, state, and local permitting regulations is required. This is a remote work position; however, candidates must be based in the western US, with preference given to candidates located in Colorado and Arizona.
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. The anticipated annual salary ranges from $141,000 to $178,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities
- Serve as Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager for projects in the western US, varying in size and complexity.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and risks using standard project management tools and processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and identify new opportunities.
- Participate actively in proposal development and western expansion efforts, including marketing and business development activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a natural resource or environmental field.
- Experience with various natural resources and permitting processes, including wetlands, streams, species, restoration, mitigation, Clean Water Act, floodplain, NEPA, Endangered Species Act, and related areas.
- At least 10 years of relevant project management experience in the western U.S.
- Existing client relationships and business opportunities.
- Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills.
- Strong self-starter with excellent organizational and task management skills.
