CAMP Digital SEM/SEO Specialists are the primary search strategists for their assigned client pod. They will work in close conjunction with their respective Search counterpart to implement defined strategies in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and on client websites. They will work & engage with clients and their respective Account Executive & Account Manager to synthesize daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly needs & goals for each client in their pod. SEM/SEO Specialists are expected to work closely with the Search Team at CAMP to share knowledge, understand best practices, and help complete department-wide projects. A deep understanding of the Google Ads platform and its capabilities is required to perform the duties of the SEM/SEO position . This includes a working knowledge of all the different Google Ads campaign types, bidding strategies, budget & reporting tools, conversion setup, and basic metrics like CTRs and conversion rates. SEM/SEO Specialists are also expected to have experience working with other industry-standard tools and programs, such as GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and DNI software.
The SEM/SEO Specialist is expected to bring innovative & pragmatic solutions to their assigned pod of clients which will entail executing research, developing recommendations, and meeting or exceeding KPI benchmarks. Key Functional Areas of Responsibility
- Google Ads optimization, ads performance, and paid search strategy
- Client budget management and oversight
- Oversees and takes part in ad campaign setup, keyword research, ad copy, and assets to ensure optimal performance
- Understand the importance of KPIs and works to ensure they are met for paid search & organic progress & growth
- Monitoring market data for trends within the home services industry on a macro-scale
- Assessing third-party reports (such as Page Speed, Core Web Vitals, Screaming Frog, WhatConverts, etc)
- Final quality assurance & approval on onboarded clients prior to going live & construction assistance
- Assigned projects, audits and/or individual tasks pertaining to advancing CAMP PPC & organic practices
- Other responsibilities as identified, defined & assigned.
Professional Competencies, Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years proven Google Ads experience with a focus on lead generation and conversion rates
- Ability to identify, solve, and implement paid search (i.e Google, Microsoft) best practices including but not limited to keyword audits, ad copy creation, conversion implementation, and basic on page SEO optimizations
- Digital marketing experience and/or a bachelors degree in communication/marketing or related field a plus

Salary Range
$64,350.00 - $80,000.00
A successful applicants actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individuals skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role. CAMP Digital SEM/SEO Specialists are the primary search strategists for their assigned client pod. They will work in close conjunction with their respective Search counterpart to implement defined strategies in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and on client websites. They will work & engage with clients and their respective Account Executive & Account Manager to synthesize daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly needs & goals for each client in their pod. SEM/SEO Specialists are expected to work closely with the Search Team at CAMP to share knowledge, understand best practices, and help complete department-wide projects. A deep understanding of the Google Ads platform and its capabilities is required to perform the duties of the SEM/SEO position . This includes a working knowledge of all the different Google Ads campaign types, bidding strategies, budget & reporting tools, conversion setup, and basic metrics like CTRs and conversion rates. SEM/SEO Specialists are also expected to have experience working with other industry-standard tools and programs, such as GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and DNI software.
The SEM/SEO Specialist is expected to bring innovative & pragmatic solutions to their assigned pod of clients which will entail executing research, developing recommendations, and meeting or exceeding KPI benchmarks. The SEM/SEO Specialist will assess market trends & review data inputs from both internal & third-party resources in coordination with their respective search counterpart. They are expected to be knowledge experts in both PPC & SEO best practices and will strive to implement such practices for their client portfolio. In addition, in an ever-changing industry, it is expected that you will be receptive to & explore new ideas that may lead to new opportunities to ensure CAMP Digital is at the forefront of paid search and SEO evolutions and the adoption of new tools and strategies.
Key Functional Areas of Responsibility
- Google Ads optimization, ads performance, and paid search strategy
- Client budget management and oversight
- Oversees and takes part in ad campaign setup, keyword research, ad copy, and assets to ensure optimal performance
- Understand the importance of KPIs and works to ensure they are met for paid search & organic progress & growth
- Monitoring market data for trends within the home services industry on a macro-scale
- Assessing third-party reports (such as Page Speed, Core Web Vitals, Screaming Frog, WhatConverts, etc)
- Final quality assurance & approval on onboarded clients prior to going live & construction assistance
- Assigned projects, audits and/or individual tasks pertaining to advancing CAMP PPC & organic practices
- Other responsibilities as identified, defined & assigned.
Professional Competencies, Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years proven Google Ads experience with a focus on lead generation and conversion rates
- Ability to identify, solve, and implement paid search (i.e Google, Microsoft) best practices including but not limited to keyword audits, ad copy creation, conversion implementation, and basic on page SEO optimizations
- Digital marketing experience and/or a bachelors degree in communication/marketing or related field a plus
- Demonstrated experience with search engine marketing & smart bidding strategies
- Must have a proven experience prioritizing and managing multiple ads and department projects (with varying levels of intricate details) simultaneously
- Ability to methodically use deductive reasoning techniques to reach specific, logical conclusions - both at a conceptual level and detail level
- Outstanding ability to think analyze results creatively and/or critically and be able to identify and resolve problems with a results-driven focus
- Must have a great attitude, a high-level of integrity, and self-motivation
- Ideal person will be tech savvy with an interest in digital marketing, be willing to put in the effort and have a strong desire to learn
- Google Tag Manager, GA4, SEMRush, Bing Ads & Google Search Console proficiency is a plus

The SEO Manager oversees the strategy, execution, and optimization of search engine optimization initiatives for clients across a range of industries. This role is responsible for managing technical SEO, on-page and off-page SEO efforts, content strategy, and performance reporting. Additionally, the SEO Manager will lead Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) efforts to improve client organic efficiencies in both traditional and AI-powered search environments. The goal for this position and team is to exceed client performance goals through best-in-class SEO and CRO practices.
Responsibilities
- Manages SEO strategy and execution for clients in industries such as B2B SaaS, entertainment, lead generation, services, QSR, and retail
- Conducts keyword research, site audits, and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Leads technical SEO initiatives including site speed optimization, crawlability, indexation, structured data implementation, and more
- Guides on-page SEO efforts such as optimizing content, title tags, meta descriptions, and internal linking structures
- Develops off-page SEO strategies including backlink acquisition, brand mentions, and influencer outreach
- Designs and implements testing strategies for SEO improvements and conversion rate enhancements using A/B and multivariate testing
- Has a strong perception on the future of the Search Landscape and implements strategies with AI in mind.
- Implements Generative Engine Optimization strategies to improve brand visibility and content inclusion in AI-powered search results like Google's AI Overviews and ChatGPT
- Oversees CRO efforts including user behavior analysis, landing page optimization, CTA refinement, and form performance improvements
- Collaborates with content teams to align SEO goals with editorial and brand direction
- Tracks SEO performance metrics, analyzes data using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and prepares client-facing reports
- Troubleshoots and resolves technical SEO, GEO and CRO issues in collaboration with development teams
- Develops strong client and vendor relationships focused on achieving business goals through SEO and CRO excellence
- Works daily in platforms such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and A/B testing platforms
- Participates in cross-functional team meetings and media strategy discussions
