Our Project Directors are crucial to our organizational success because they have the ability to estimate and close the sale. This position has a starting salary of $70,000 to $00,000 depending on experience, and UNCAPPED commission potential!

This is a highly compensated position with UNCAPPED commission potential.

The construction Project Director is responsible for estimating, closing the sale of, and managing restoration projects. The Project Director works closely with owners and managers of commercial, multifamily, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, and residential properties damaged by man-made or natural disasters to develop cost estimates for restoration, renovation, environmental, and roofing services. The Project Director is the quarter back of the project, ensuring that budgets and projects are on track through completion.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales:

• Meet or exceed monthly and yearly sales goals
• Negotiate and execute contracts on behalf of the company
• Selling all services that BluSky offers
• Convert opportunities into sales
• Track and Measure sales and sales opportunities in our CRM and Tracking Sheets

Revenue:

• Oversee and expedite revenue production in accordance with monthly goals
• Work with all members of the project team to ensure timeliness of deposit, progress, and final billings
• Provide oversight and direction to the Project Manager in production of revenue
• Review and collaborate with Project Team on Project schedules

Profit Margins:

• Develop and take ownership of the project budget in compliance with vertical target margins
• Ensure the accuracy of the budget and modify it during the course of the project, if conditions warrant
• Seek to improve project profitability by judicious use of vendors, in-house labor, and material suppliers
• Supervise and monitor project costs to ensure margin integrity

AR & Collections:

• Intentional conversations at the beginning of each project outlining the AR process and setting expectations with the customer for collections
• Review and understand specific program's for invoicing, payment terms, conditions, and process
• Perform weekly collection calls on all accounts
• Weekly reviews for A/R Aging to proactively manage the accounts, monitor lien rights, and follow through on assignments
• Maintain DSO (Days Sale Outstanding) at or below 75 days

Manage Near Term Opportunities:

• Work directly with clients & claims handling teams to close leads
• Maintain robust communication with clients to steer direction toward closing
• Document communication and curate all files in the BluSky CRM systems

Business Development Activity:

• Schedule and attend two business development meetings a week with clients, adjusters, building consultants, etc.
• Participate in various special events to market BluSky - luncheons, trade shows, award dinners, etc.
• Entertain clients as necessary to drive business and close sales
• Partner with business development and Vice President in pursuit of all sales

Estimating Proficiency:

• Accurate sketching of affected areas and use of Matterport technology.
• Time and Material (T&M) / Xactimate knowledge (need to be able to explain the T&M bill file & justify Xactimate line items)
• Ability to estimate a project to fit all target margins per the service provided

Customer Satisfaction:

• Consistent weekly communication with all stakeholders (external and internal)
• Setting expectations upfront with the customer
• Holding teams accountable to provide updates
• Check in with the customer throughout the project
• Email communication should have all stakeholders on the thread

Working and coordinating with internal teams: Mitigation

• Coordinate to get the work authorization signed so we can respond timely
• Walking the job with the technician team to define the scope of work
• Share client feedback/changes in scope
• Review daily T&M sheets with the Mitigation operations team
• Work directly with the Mitigation operations team
• Site visit at completion to confirm all work is completed per client expectations

Reconstruction

• Project Kick Offs confirming scope of work and target budget / margin
• Constant communication with the Project Manager (PM) throughout the course of the project
• Work with the PM to get timely change orders submitted for approval
• Work with the PM to send weekly updates

Business Development

• Communicate with the Business Development Manager (BD) about the new opportunity to get it into Salesforce timely
• Keep the BD on all email communication with the mutual client
• Update the BD on all changes to the project timely
• Help the BD update the NTO list that you are both working

Project Accountants

• Oversee completed work authorizations so the PA can get the job into Vista
• Work with the PA to send out invoices
• Work with the PA to upload change orders

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of Recent marketing/business development and sales experience in the restoration or construction industry with a proven track record of sales growth
• Extensive Construction estimating and/or large loss and catastrophe experience
• Must be able to attend Business Development networking functions 2-3 evenings a week
• Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills
• Experience utilizing Xactimate and other estimating software
• Experience with social media platforms such as LinkedIn
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Strong knowledge of project management, financial processes, and administration required
• Strong business ethics, integrity, and the ability to perform in highly autonomous environments required
• OSHA 10 or 30, CPR and First Aid certifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience related to the role is

Reporting to the Director of Design in the Division of Facilities Design and Construction department, the Associate Director of Design will:

1. Assist the Director of Design in the design review and approval process for minor modifications and non-capital projects to ensure alignment with the universitys mission, vision, strategic goals, and initiatives.
2. Engage in the review of campus signage standards maintained by the Wayfinding Designer and approved by the Director of Design.
3. Assist the Director of Design in developing, reviewing, and approving campus planning and feasibility projects.
4. Participate in the capital project design review and approval process.

The Director of Internal Audit reports to the Chief Audit Executive and is responsible for empowering the internal audit team towards completion of the annual audit plan. The Director provides management direction in the planning, executing, and reporting all engagements. The Director is also responsible for executing a quality assurance review of the audit work to ensure compliance with departmental and professional standards. The incumbent will be a proactive partner to colleagues throughout the University. This is a hands-on position which interfaces with senior levels of management, as well as planning, conducting, and/or directing audit engagements. The incumbent must be detail, action, solution, and results oriented and dedicated to continuous improvement. The Director will:

Maintain the highest level of ethics, integrity, and objectivity.

Provide leadership to internal audit staff including mentoring and development.

Apply critical analysis to data, processes, and/or policies that adds value to a given engagement.

Plan, organize, direct, and/or conduct financial, operational, compliance, and information systems engagements in compliance with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Global Internal Audit Standards and other standard frameworks.

Lead and/or supervise work of audit staff, review scope statements, programs, internal control questionnaires, work papers, and assure timely progress and successful completion of engagements.

Keep the Chief Audit Executive updated on the progress of engagements, major findings, and problems encountered. Attention to detail and project management is an integral component of the job.

Provide professional reports supported by competent and evidential data, partner with clients to develop recommendations to improve controls and systems, and conduct entrance and exit conferences.

Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of university systems and utilize advanced techniques (e.g., analytics, AI).

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of ten years of progressive experience in auditing, risk management, or related field, with at least five years in engagement-level leadership, or higher, roles.

A bachelor's degree in business, business intelligence, or related field.

A professional certification as a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, or Certified Public Accounting, and/or other equivalent and relevant professional certification.

Demonstrated experience in successfully directing and conducting financial; operational; compliance; fraud, waste, and abuse; and information systems engagements through all phases and varying types of review modalities.

Comprehensive understanding of and demonstrated experience in identifying, evaluating, and communicating risks, controls, and common assessment frameworks.

Demonstrated team building, training, supervisory, mentoring, and leadership skills within a hybrid working environment.

Expertise in managing engagements in alignment with the Institute of Internal Auditors' Global Internal Audit Standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

A master's degree in business, business intelligence, or related field.

Significant audit experience in higher education or governmental agency.

Advanced technical skills including experience in development and use of data analytics, continuous monitoring, and/or internal control dashboarding.

Knowledge of the Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards and/or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Experience using ERP systems such as Banner, PeopleSoft, or Oracle.

Reporting to the Associate Director of System Operations, this role is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Systems team and overseeing systemic functions within the Office of University Scholarships and Financial Aid (USFA). Responsibilities include the operation and maintenance of technology systems used to administer financial aid, reporting and data integrity, overseeing the execution of operational processes for timely awarding, disbursement, tracking, and quality assurance reviews of financial aid programs. They will create formulas and processes for monitoring the university's student financial aid systems and data, as well as assist in executing the financial aid packaging strategy (budgeting, packaging, disbursement) through testing and simulating financial aid packaging runs via Ellucian Banner's financial aid module. This position will support the current Systems team in daily tasks including assisting with ISIR data loads for both the current and upcoming aid year. The Assistant Director for Systems will design reports to facilitate data analysis and quality assurance checks for data integrity, compliance with financial aid regulations, financial aid and scholarship modeling, and assessment of financial aid processes. This position will stay up to date on federal and state financial aid regulations and will support compliance efforts not limited to Federal Student Aid, SCHEV, and GLBA regulations, as well as data security and audits. The Assistant Director will troubleshoot Banner system issues and assist with all system upgrades including scheduling, impact analysis, testing, and implementation in coordination with the Academic Applications team. This position will assist and support modifications to Banner identified through Banner E-communities Blackbaud; and seamlessly integrate improvements with current system functionality to meet and maintain compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations. They will maintain a working knowledge of current technology and system issues and trends occurring in the Banner and Blackbaud communities. The Assistant Director will utilize those resources to research, identify, and propose process improvements and efficiencies for USFA.
