Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • The physician serves as medical director for skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and participates in administrative and quality initiatives for the facilities he or she is responsible for;
  • Medical directorship functions include attending and participating in monthly quality assurance and process improvement meetings; participating in quality improvement initiatives; providing guidance to facility staff; reviewing and revising (if necessary) facility's clinical guidelines; insuring compliance with state and federal regulations, training facility staff; and supervising facility clinical staff.
  • In addition to the medical director role, the physician also serves as the attending physician for the residents residing at each facility;
  • The physician collaborates with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage day to day resident care at each facility. Typically, each facility will have a full-time PA or NP assigned to the facility depending on the acuity and volume of the patient population;
  • Physician will provide high quality, patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services by rounding on patients residing in SNFs;
  • Physician is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with acute illness, such as bacterial and viral infections, as well as chronic diseases and conditions, such as hypertension, heart disease, or diabetes
  • Provider documentation is completed in Theoria's proprietary electronic health record (EHR) system, ChartEasy™
  • PointClickCare, MatrixCare, and American HealthTech are the most commonly used facility EHR systems
  • Participating in Theoria's Chronic Care Management, Transitional Care, RPM and other medical quality initiatives and programs

**Description**
The Pricing Director provides pricing strategy and execution leadership for all Electronics & Controls to maximize pricing effectiveness.
**As the Pricing Director, you will:**
+ Lead the Electronics & Controls pricing team
+ Manage the Electronics & Controls (E&C) pricing processes, including Latin America and Canada
+ Manage the Electronics & Controls (E&C) pricing team to ensure price issue resolution and process improvement implementations
+ Maintain price tracking mechanisms for the E&C business, including monthly reporting of pricing impact to the business in Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) reviews
+ Provide detailed dynamic models to aid long term customer agreement negotiations and develop tools to effectively communicate results
+ Report out monthly on price attainment and price forecast by segment
+ Provide ad-hoc data analysis
+ Provide leadership in the overall strategic planning as it relates to pricing, anticipate future pricing opportunities or potential losses, and accurately assess the impact to the business
+ Provide pricing leadership to support the Long-Range Planning (LRP) Process, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and quarterly commitments (QCR)
+ Lead pricing system changes with assistance from IT
+ Participate in cross functional projects
+ Establish structure and manage long-term agreements (LTA) with customers
+ Support sales teams with face-to-face customer negotiations and pricing justification support
+ Maintain material, rebate, tariff, wage, freight, and other price adjustments
**Strategic responsibilities:**
+ Assist business leaders in developing pricing strategy and key initiatives to ensure:
+ Alignment with business objectives including price volume tradeoff decisions
+ Align pricing mechanisms to execute defined pricing strategy - maintain participation, vs take share vs. trade up
+ Look for pricing opportunities - Considering reaction of other original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and other customers to help drive price strategy
+ Work with sales, product management and executive leaders to execute strategic price actions:
+ Help establish price targets that are set based on market value of offering with consistent logic to set target margins based on market and competitive conditions
+ Conduct support analysis to help ensure price actions are based on a clear framework for customer pricing across segments, channels and regions including guidance on pricing flexibility within each group
+ Put measurements in place for regular monitoring of price realization relative to targets with discounting policies defined to minimize leakage and support the strategic pricing models
+ Implement pricing systems and structure to ensure:
+ KPI's are in place and establish dashboards for regular tracking and management.
+ Standardized reports are available
+ Data is in a central hub with market intel systematically informing price setting with tools aligned and optimized to drive designed pricing processes
+ Well-defined end to end pricing execution and coordinated processes across all segments of the business unit (BU) including defined escalation paths and exception rules
+ Develop flow chart and VSM to define price processes and to ensure strategy pricing and pricing operations are functioning effectively (i.e., how to move from LTA to production, material price actions, and other pricing processes)
+ Establish and lead a Pricing Leadership Council
+ The council should include BU President and key Finance, VP/GM's, Sales and Product Management executives
+ Provide the council with information to review price strategy alignment with business objectives, review impact of price actions, assess impact of future price strategies and approve price discount guidelines and exceptions
+ Convene the pricing council on a regularly scheduled cadence to review ongoing pricing strategy and execution activities or on a case-by-case basis when large deals or new product pricing are in play
+ Present proposed large list price changes, when proposed discounting is outside of established thresholds, or other exceptional circumstances
**Required education, experience, and skills:**
+ Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data management or similar degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ 10 years of experience managing pricing and/or pricing related topics such as finance and IT
+ Ability to establish and maintain multilevel relationships with all areas of the organization.

    The Director of Nursing assumes authority, responsibility,and accountability for the delivery of nursing services in the facility. Incollaboration with facility Administration, allocates department resources inan efficient and economic manner to enable each resident to attain or maintainthe highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.Collaborates with other departments, medical professionals, consultants, andorganizations, including government agencies and advocacy groups, to develop,and support and coordinate resident are, related administrative functions, andto represent the interest of the facility. To plan, organize, direct, andcontrol the medical and rehabilitation services of the nursing home andassisted living within the applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

    The Director must be able to perform each essential functioneffectively to be successful in this position.
    •Develops, maintains, and implements nursingpolicies and procedures that conform to current standards of nursing practice,facility philosophy, and operational policies while maintaining compliance withstate and federal laws and regulations.
    •Participates in admission decisions, and mayassess prospective residents at BRC, in their home, or in the hospital.
    •Participates in weekly meetings with supervisorand/or nursing staff to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel, orresident/family complaints or concerns.
    •Participates in the recruitment, hiring, andfiring of nursing staff. Assures that sufficient staff are hired. Oversees thenursing staff schedules to assure that staff are trained and available to carefor residents. Evaluates the work performance of all nursing personnel eitherdirectly or indirectly.
    •Becomes an Eden Alternative Associate andmaintains support for the Eden philosophy as evidenced by use of language andadoption of Eden culture.
    •Ensures delivery of compassionate quality careand nursing supervision as evidenced by adequate services and staff coverage inneighborhoods, absence of odors, general cleanliness, prevention of pressurewounds, and apparent maintenance of optimal resident functions.
    •Demonstrates knowledge of application of keyclinical quality indicators, and proactively monitors and implements systems toachieve and/or surpass company thresholds.
    •Exercises overall supervision of residentassessments and care plans.
    •Oversees and is responsible for the licensednurses and state-tested nursing assistants competency testing, licenses, andassures that in-service records are up to date.
    •Reviews the shift reports from every neighborhooddaily to monitor and ensure timely, effective responses to significant changesin condition, transfers, and discharges, use of restraints, unexplainedinjuries, falls, behavioral episodes, and medication errors.
    •Collaborates with physicians, consultants,community agencies and institutions to improve the quality of services and toresolve identified problems.
    •Coordinates nursing services with all otherdepartments, including Therapy. Proactively develops positive employeerelations, incentives, and recognition programs. Promotes teamwork, mutualrespect, and effective communication.
    •Monitors staff for compliance with safetyissues, OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control. Develops and maintains an infectioncontrol program for the organization. Submits an infection control report tothe Quality Assurance and Process Improvement (QAPI) Committee.
    •Participates in the QAPI Committee byidentifying processes for improvement and leading the nursing department in allquality assurance activities. Reports to the committee nursing compliance withstandards and regulatory requirements from information gathered in makingrounds, interviews, and record reviews.
    •Assists the Administrator in preparing staff forsurveys, instructing staff on matters of conduct and disclosure, beinginterviewed by inspectors, and immediately correcting problems. Assists in thewriting of plans of correction and enforcing past citations.
    •Communicates directly with residents, familymembers, medical staff, nursing staff, and other staff members to coordinatecare and services, promote participation in care plans, and maintain a highquality of life and care for residents.
    •Promotes customer service and responds tocomplaints or concerns promptly. Monitors facility incidents and identifiesthose that require immediate action and reporting to the Administrator. Asneeded, makes reports to the Ohio Department of Health for suspected abuse,neglect, or misappropriation of property.
    •Plans and oversees the Clinic and supervises theMedical Office Manager. Serves on various committees as needed, such as, butnot limited to: QAPI and Compliance.
    •Directs and controls assigned operations andinformation to maintain sound privacy and security practices and preventprivacy or security breaches. If a breach occurs, take corrective action.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Manages three (3) to six (6) subordinate supervisors who supervise a total ofapproximately 130-150 employees in the Nursing Department. Also, directlysupervises one to three non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisoryresponsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicablelaws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees;planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding anddisciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
    **Arrangements Conference**
    + Receives or initiates call to deceased next of kin. Exhibiting concern and empathy, obtains or confirms deceased and family contact information, briefly discusses needs (including languages), schedules Arrangement appointment, and emails appointment confirmation.
    + May perform removals or transfers adhering to company standards and processes. Cares for deceased in a respectful manner. Updates removal status in proprietary software.
    + Greets next of kin and escorts to meeting space. Initiates and facilitates Arrangements Conference while assessing needs and summarizing desired outcomes. Discusses available life insurance and available benefits, such as Veteran. Promotes funeral, cemetery, and crematory services and merchandise such as catering, flowers, music, and Ever Lasting Memory products.
    + Transitions Arrangement Conference to Funeral Services Counselor/Advisor to present cemetery property and merchandise options, pricing, and contract completion. In absence of an FSA/FSC, may perform FSA/FSC responsibilities.
    + Responsible for reviewing and authorizing merchandise and service contract revisions.
    **Directing Services**
    + Confirms authorization to proceed with service Arrangements. Presides as Master of Ceremonies (MC) for visitation, funeral, or graveside services in a professional, organized, and caring manner consistent with Company standards. Shall be present for graveside services included in the purchase agreement. Shall be present when the casket containing a human body is placed in a grave, crypt, or burial vault and verifies that any personal belongings are removed from the deceased prior to burial per the Arrangements.
    + Visually inspects deceased, adjusts casket dressing, deceased attire or makeup, or communicates concerns to preparation staff. Visually inspects Services Arrangements (visitation, funeral, or graveside) against contractual arrangements and the next of kin expectations; initiates corrective action as appropriate; may provide instruction or guidance to services team members.
    + Interacts with the family to fulfill the death care requests. While interacting with family and guests, obtains leads for pre-need services.
    **Event Planning**
    + Perform a variety of event planning responsibilities including but not limited to resource planning and ordering of music, flowers, or catering to fulfill Arrangement requests. Produces MeM products that may include scanning photos, ordering of memorabilia or stationary, creating electronic presentations, writing obituaries, and creating on-line memorials. Prior to event, prepares event room including but not limited to set-up chairs, tables, flowers, guest books, and appropriate décor. Post event cleans chairs, tables, floors, proper storage of items, identifies property in need of repair, and courier/deliver family memorabilia to home.
    + May perform a variety of attendant duties including but not limited to parking lot attendant, driver, usher, pallbearer, or courier.
    + May attends community or charity events to represent and promote the location or market.
    **Embalming**
    + Cares for deceased in a respectful manner. Following company processes and procedures, verifies identification, reviews embalming authorization. Following company processes and adhering to hazardous waste procedures cleans and embalms body; uses scalpels, pumps, tubes, and equipment to replace bodily fluids/waste with embalming fluids; performs restorations, styling hair, applying cosmetics, dressing body, and other preparation required for human remains.
    + Verifies appropriate casket and lining according to contract. Dresses casket and lays deceased. Updates status in propriety software.
    + Maintains preparation room, cleans soiled equipment, properly disposes of hazardous waste, and promotes a safe work environment.
    + Inventories and reorders supplies.
    **General**
    + Works under general guidance. New associates are learning to apply licensure to business environment complying with regulations, policies, and procedures; work may be peer reviewed for accuracy, quality, and education; collaborates with peers or manager for assistance and guidance. Exhibits accountability for behaviors. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
    + Takes the initiative to discuss assignments, expectations, priorities and deadlines as well as seek guidance and coaching from manager.     Essential Functions & Responsibilities

    • The physician serves as medical director for skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and participates in administrative and quality initiatives for the facilities he or she is responsible for;
    • Medical directorship functions include attending and participating in monthly quality assurance and process improvement meetings; participating in quality improvement initiatives; providing guidance to facility staff; reviewing and revising (if necessary) facilitys clinical guidelines; insuring compliance with state and federal regulations, training facility staff; and supervising facility clinical staff.
    • In addition to the medical director role, the physician also serves as the attending physician for the residents residing at each facility;
    • The physician collaborates with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage day to day resident care at each facility. Typically, each facility will have a full-time PA or NP assigned to the facility depending on the acuity and volume of the patient population;
    • Physician will provide high quality, patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services by rounding on patients residing in SNFs;
    • Physician is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with acute illness, such as bacterial and viral infections, as well as chronic diseases and conditions, such as hypertension, heart disease, or diabetes
    • Provider documentation is completed in Theorias proprietary electronic health record (EHR) system, ChartEasy
    • PointClickCare, MatrixCare, and American HealthTech are the most commonly used facility EHR systems
    • Participating in Theorias Chronic Care Management, Transitional Care, RPM and other medical quality initiatives and programs
    • Physician must be able to supervise collaborating nurse practitioners and physicians assistants
    • Physician must be able to utilize electronic/online medical tools such as EHR systems and state/county medical systems utilized for Death Certificates and administrative functions.

    Shift Structure

    • Shifts are flexible depending on physicians schedule;
