The Opportunity :
The Associate Director, Partnerships is responsible for helping to build mutually beneficial partnerships for UCF across the seven channels of corporate engagement: sponsored research, corporate capstones, co-location, executive education, business collaborations, student talent engagement, and philanthropy. Reporting to the Executive Director of Partnerships, this role collaborates with both internal stakeholders and external clients to create and strengthen strategic relationships that align with UCF's goals.

Responsibilities:

Partner with the Advancement & Partnerships team to facilitate multi-channel, interdisciplinary engagements-supporting everything from agreements and strategy sessions to internal communications and external partner alignment.

Collaborate with campus stakeholders and corporate partners to identify strategic opportunities and develop customized partnership plans that align with UCF priorities.

Serve as the point person for Discovery Days and VIP campus visits, curating experiences for executives to explore UCF's capabilities across research, education, innovation, and philanthropy.

Support identification of new corporate leads by leveraging campus research teams, LinkedIn, and other prospecting tools-mapping campus assets to uncover opportunities for impactful partnerships.

Assist with tracking, reporting, and follow-up efforts to ensure progress toward partnership goals and alignment with the university's strategic vision.

Perform related duties and special projects as assigned to support the success of the Partnerships team.

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director Strategic Partnerships to lead the development and execution of our ecosystem engagement strategy for both Augmented Reality and Photonic Interconnect products and technologies. This role is pivotal in identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic relationships across the value chain, including N+1 (Direct Customers), N+2 (Customers' Customers), N-1 (Direct Suppliers), and N-2 (Suppliers' Suppliers).

As the Director, Strategic Partnerships, your first and foremost priority is to “make it rain”. You will be a pivotal member of our leadership team, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies that drive rapid business growth, increase market share, and enhance client relationships within the Aramark, Compass, and Sodexo channels and throughout the foodservice management space. Your expertise in channel development, coupled with your deep understanding of the food service industry and high-energy work ethic, will be critical in driving our company's success. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Channel Penetration Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to effectively penetrate the Aramark, Compass, and Sodexo channels, identifying key decision-makers, trends, and opportunities for business expansion. New Business Development: Lead the identification, targeting, and pursuit of new business opportunities within the designated channels. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders from C-Suite to operating levels at Aramark, Compass, and Sodexo and other targeted foodservice management companies. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to assess competitive landscape, industry trends, and emerging opportunities. Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and refine channel strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, operations, finance to ensure alignment of efforts and seamless execution of channel strategies. Negotiation and Contract Management: In collaboration with legal and executive team, lead contract negotiations with strategic channel clients.
