**Job Summary and Qualifications**
Responsible for communications into and within the hospital by use of the telephone switchboard, pagers, public address systems, and internal radio communications. Primary focus of the job is to respond quickly and courteously to all incoming calls, route these calls to the proper extension, and properly respond to procedures for emergency codes. Internal communications includes, but not limited to, the following departments: Maintenance, Shuttle, after hour Courier, Valet and Material Management services. Dispatch Operators also monitors CCTV and alarms (including medical gas alarms) for all of Mission Hospital and identified off Site facilities. Dispatch Operators will provide work orders for all maintenance and access requests and provide quick access restriction services for Mission Hospital.
