SUMMARY
Performs timely and accurate cycle counts of inventory, completes correct inventory adjustments and performs inventory control activities for the purpose of maintaining accuracy at the item and location level. Performs all duties safely, accurately and meets set productivity goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform quarterly cycle counting of inventory to ensure accuracy of perpetual inventory including product information (lot tracking and date integrity), product condition (damage/spoilage), stock location (mis-picks), proper location and pick slotting and any other inventory status specification.
Make accurate cycle count adjustments in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) as required to provide correct information for planning and evaluation activities.
Communicate detailed information for any potential loss of inventory (expiration, temp issues, etc.) to Manager, Inventory Control or Director, Warehouse Operations to ensure timely action on volatile inventory.
Correct any product found in the incorrect storage location during cycle counts, complete a Quality Incident Packet indicating the associate who mis-located the product and provide to operations for associate follow up.
Research Lost Pallet Report and identify reason and validity of loss through a physical search of the warehouse. Determine required inventory adjustment and input data into WMS to provide accurate information for planning and evaluation activities. Complete a thorough review of product activity in WMS, RDC SUS, the site incident database, and the regional adjustments database to ensure accuracy of the net position.
Retrieve, research and put away stray product.
Pull, process, load and complete outbound returns, donations, recalls, salvages and any other outbound product shipments as required.
Research catch weights on questionable receiving identified by the Administration Department, report data to the Administration staff to provide accurate information.
Review Overage, Shortage and Damage Forms (OS&D Form) completed by receivers for completeness and accuracy. Approve OS&D Forms after verification of information for accuracy and completeness.
Retrieve shelf life, product lot, product expiration data listed on the Short Shelf Life Report and the Received with Less Than Required Shelf Life Report and communicates to as appropriate.
Work effectively with immediate supervisor and operations to minimize warehouse shrink (product loss).
Responsible for the neatness and cleanliness of assigned work area.
Report any safety issues to supervisor.
Observe and enforce all safety rules to eliminate accidents and injuries.
Operate appropriate material handling equipment (MHE), such as forklifts, stock pickers and pallet jacks in a safe and orderly manner to eliminate accidents and injuries.
Ensure that MHE is maintained (perform daily inspection) and clean, report repair or service needs to supervisor to minimize equipment damage and down time.
Use warehouse computers and RF equipment in a safe and professional manner.
Understand and comply with all applicable company policies (i.e. attendance, Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, Associate Handbook, etc.
Comply with all applicable State/Federal laws, regulations and policies (i.e. OSHA, HACCP, BRC, etc.).
Supports food safety policies, standard operating procedures, and prerequisite food safety control programs that meet legal and quality requirements and industry best practices as defined in our Food Safety Commitment documentation.

The Inventory Coordinator is accountable for recording and tracking inventories of materials, supplies, and finished product. Main point of contact for finished goods purchasing and order tracking. The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for the development, recommendation and implementation of control-related standards and procedures, systems, and best practices regarding inventory. QUALIFICATIONS
Education

Physical Demand

The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for the development, recommendation and implementation of control-related standards and procedures, systems, and best practices regarding inventory. Additionally, the position is responsible for reconciling the physical inventories for the purpose of maintaining accurate financial information. The position will serve as a liaison between Finance, Operations and Purchasing. Establish control-related standards and procedures.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Supervising and leading team assisting with inventory related duties.
+ Collaborating with cross-functional departments (Purchasing, Operations, Finance, etc.) to research inventory discrepancies.
+ Ensuring timely resolution of inventory discrepancies
+ Scheduling and conducting physical inventory recounts and or cycle counts as needed
+ Compiling, analyzing, and distributing Inventory Reports as needed
+ Delegating work and responsibility to inventory team.
+ Overseeing all inventory accounts and records.
+ Compiling inventory reports for review and analysis.
+ Analyzing and stock inventories and checking archives.
+ Ensuring that all stocks comply with the quality standards of the organization.
+ Performing and managing timely inventory audits.
+ Ensure adherence to departmental Preferred Work Methods (PWMs).
+ Conform to all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.
+ Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices, Company Policies and Safety procedures and the Sysco Code of Conduct.
+ Adhere to cycle count program.
+ Adhere to hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP) and material safety data sheet (MSDS) guidelines.
+ Other duties as assigned by manager
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education**
+ High school diploma/GED.
+ Prefer 4-year college degree in a related discipline.
**Experience**
+ 3 years of inventory control experience and/or warehouse experience in food distribution.
+ 1-year experience on IBM AS400.
**Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations**
+ Warehouse equipment and possibly forklift.
**Physical Demand**
+ Work is light to medium in nature with frequent walking to perform assigned tasks.
+ You must be able to communicate clearly with shippers and employees.
+ Physical inventories involve periods of prolonged standing.
**Mental/Visual Demand**
+ You must be able to read text that is close and at a distance with or without correction.
+ In addition, must be able to perform a manual task, hear, sit, reach, lift, bend, and interact with others.
**Working Condition**
+ Activities occur both inside (protected from weather conditions but not temperature changes) and outside.
+ An employee is subjected to extreme cold while supervising in the freezer.
+ Hazardous conditions may exist, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current and working in high places.
**Equipment Operated**
+ A calculator, copier, fax, PC, Microsoft Office applications, telephone and mainframe printer are typical equipment used in this position.
+ You may also be required to operate a pallet jack and forklift.

**Position Summary**
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for the tasks associated with the management of inventory while maintaining the Pharmacy in a clean, orderly, and professional manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Purchasing and receiving of inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances, replenishment tasks, put away, cycle counting, return product management, B/O and Days' Supply monitoring and selection of product and supplies under the direction of the supervisor.
- Managing returned goods according to standard operating procedures while also monitoring product trends and shortages to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.
- Ensure pharmacy pick stations are properly stocked with medication and supplies.
- Assist in maintaining dispensing and back stock refrigerators in a well organized manner.
- Provide Operations Assistants with adequate packing supplies and ensure pack stations are stocked appropriately.
- Monitor and pull short dated or expired product from active inventory.
- Filing inventory and SOX documentation.
- Assists with other duties as assigned and/or any other tasks as assigned by Leadership.
This position could be physically demanding. Must be able to sit, stand, pull, push, reach, stretch, walk and be physical for multiple hours of the day.
**Compensation:**
Starting pay rates are based on experience, ranging from: $20.35 - $2.02.
**Available Shifts:**
12:00pm-9:00 PM Monday through Friday
**Required Qualifications**
- 1 year professional work experience in a warehouse, purchasing and/or inventory environment
- Pharmacy Technician License
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Prior experience with SAP Warehouse Management (WM) software
