Position Summary of Inventory Receiving Clerk:

Reporting to the Sr Materials Manager, the Inventory Receiving Clerk partners with the Supply Chain team and Operations staff to ensure Circuit Check’s commitment to increasing our customers shipped quality while decreasing overall test costs.

This position reports to the Sr Materials Manager and according to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), this position is classified as non-exempt.

What You’ll Be Doing

The Inventory Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of daily inventory activities, including: the accuracy of inventory receipt activities, inventory locations are properly recorded. They are accountable to accurate cycle counts, replenishments, and location audits, accurately recording those counts into the ERP system and seek recount verification and authorizations according to company guidelines. They assist in picking material for production shop orders. They are responsible for determining the root cause of inventory discrepancies and suggesting corrective actions to process/procedure to eliminate future occurrences. They act as the back-up the shipping function for the fulfillment of customer orders.

In this role you will get to:

Production Planning/Scheduling
  • Lead the overall production planning strategy, providing guidance and oversight to the master scheduler and site-specific schedulers.
  • Ensure alignment between the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and production schedules across multiple sites, ensuring the smooth execution of plans that meet both customer demand and operational capabilities.

  • Facilitate cross-functional communication between production planning, S&OP, sales, procurement, and operations teams to ensure that schedules are realistic, achievable, and optimized for efficiency.
  • Ensure that master and site-level schedules are continuously monitored, updated, and adjusted to reflect fluctuations in demand, resource availability, and production capacity.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy and responsiveness of production planning, reduce lead times, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Integrate newly acquired businesses into Trystar's production planning processes and ERP system, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with existing scheduling & capacity planning protocols.

Inventory Control
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight to the enterprise-wide Materials organization ensuring the effective management of incoming materials, stock levels, and delivery of materials to assembly locations and finished good inventory locations.
  • Collaborate with controllership to develop and enforce inventory control policies and procedures across all sites to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of material handling, storage, and delivery processes.
  • Oversee the execution of ERP-driven inventory transactions, ensuring all movements (receipts, transfers, consumption) are accurately tracked and recorded using advanced techniques such as barcode scanning, RFID, and automated stock level monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the Materials Manager to ensure site-level teams are effectively trained and supported in completing all ERP transactions with precision, ensuring real-time data accuracy and traceability.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize stockroom layouts, material flow processes, and material replenishment systems, minimizing waste and reducing lead times.
  • Monitor and drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy, cycle count programs, and overall stock management, implementing best practices and leveraging ERP functionality to minimize stock discrepancies and stockouts.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, production planning, and logistics teams to align inventory control practices with overall supply chain and production objectives.
  • Implement and refine metrics and KPIs to track material availability, material flow & efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall performance of inventory control processes across all sites.
  • Lead the integration of newly acquired businesses into the company's inventory control systems and processes, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all sites

Logistics:
  • Provide strategic leadership to the overall logistics leader and site-specific logistics teams ensuring a cohesive and efficient logistics network that supports customer needs, inter-site material flow, and supply chain management.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics strategy aimed at optimizing transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks across multiple sites, while minimizing costs and improving service levels.

Job Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.

Our FDA-cleared electromagnetic navigation system is used in leading hospitals to improve the accuracy and reliability of feeding tube placement. We are expanding our U.S. operations and building a robust supply chain hub in the Minneapolis area, close to our logistics, distribution, and manufacturing partners.

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead and execute all U.S.-based supply chain activities. This includes purchasing, inventory management, supplier coordination, contract manufacturing support, logistics, and demand planning.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Minneapolis, responsible for ensuring supply continuity, operational efficiency, and compliance across ENvues U.S. value chain. The role will work closely with the operations team, finance, sales, and our Israel-based R&D and NPI functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all supply chain operations for the U.S. division, including procurement, shipping, inventory control, and supplier relations.
  • Oversee finished goods and component inventory levels, ensuring availability while controlling carrying costs.
  • Place and track purchase orders with contract manufacturers, extrusion partners, packaging vendors, and logistics providers.
  • Maintain accurate data in the ERP system (Priority or equivalent), including lead times, part numbers, and order status.

Summary

The Supply Chain Management team is the resource for all Mortenson operating group material needs. We strategically source all consumables materials for project teams, which are managed by a team of buyers. This encompasses material not installed on the job sites, such as PPE, tape, tools, etc. In our Energy & Infrastructure operating groups that self-perform all work, we have supply chain teams comprised of sourcing managers leading a team of buyers to source all material that is installed on the projects.

In addition, our affiliated material distribution entity, BLU54, identifies product lines with opportunity for improvement from a budget and schedule standpoint. We collaborate with the design team to optimize the materials for each project and supply to either Mortenson or the selected subcontractor on Mortenson projects.

Highlights of your time with this Mortenson internship will include:

  • Learning about materials typically purchased by team of buyers and purchasing agents
  • Creating and maintaining catalogs for each operating group
  • Standardizing material descriptions and categories and implementing changes
  • Assisting in purchase transactions
  • Tracking order status from time of placing order until delivery and communicating status to project teams
  • Entering purchase orders and maintaining contact with suppliers to ensure delivery of material on a timely basis
  • Visiting job sites or equipment facilities to better understand materials and organizational structure

Qualifications

Additional Information

The hourly wage for college Interns starts at $18. Students in their sophomore year of college, or more, are paid higher wages based on their year in school.
