**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Provides close coordination with plant engineering to assure timely execution of product and services sourcing activities for continuous improvement projects and cost savings.
+ Coordinates engineering changes/developments between company activities and suppliers
+ Secures and analyzes vendor quotations
+ Negotiates pricing and payment terms with potential suppliers and makes sourcing recommendations with respect to cost, quality, and delivery competitiveness
+ Arranges for the submission, inspection and approval of sample products as required (PPAP)
+ Coordinate logistics routing for existing and new supplier products to achieve low-cost transportation alternatives
+ Maintain an active surveillance of market trends and conditions for supplier provided materials and services, keeping TopWorx management informed of relevant market conditions which could impact the company
+ Collaborate with corporate Supply Chain team to leverage supplier sourcing and provides sourcing input on TopWorx designed products manufactured at various global manufacturing sites
+ Works closely with other members of Supply Chain team to drive improvements in the ITO, utilizing such tools as Kanban agreements, consignment inventory, and reorder quantity.
+ Visits current/new supplier facilities to audit/ensure adherence to kanban agreements, quality system requirements and supplier performance metrics as required
+ Develop, lead and complete supplier cost containment activities, including participation in required e-sourcing events
+ Follows environmental and safety regulations and acts in compliance with US laws
+ Aligns with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics and actively promotes good vendor relations
+ Lead and support supplier corrective actions and MRB activities.

The purpose of the Director, Supply Chain & Commissary Operations is to lead and drive the strategic direction, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of Papa Johns' supply chain and commissary operations. This position ensures that all QCCs adhere to company standards in safety, quality, service, and cost-effectiveness. The Director creates synergy between distribution, inventory management, procurement, and production functions, translating corporate priorities into actionable operational plans. - Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business growth, optimize costs, and improve operational efficiency across all QCCs.
- Oversee day-to-day Warehouse, Distribution, Maintenance, and Production operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and timely delivery to stores and franchisees.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers and associates across multiple QCCs, cultivating a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance, identify trends, and drive corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and food safety standards within all QCCs and throughout the supply chain.
- Drive process improvements leveraging methods such as Lean Six Sigma, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance accuracy, service, and cost controls.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, finance, and store operations teams to align supply chain activities with organizational objectives and market demands.
- Manage budgets for supply chain and commissary operations, controlling costs while maintaining high levels of service and operational excellence.

**Experience, Education, Certifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, warehousing, or distribution operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity overseeing multiple facilities or regions.
- Experience within the food service, QSR, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and inventory control methodologies.
- Certification in supply chain or logistics management (e.g., APICS CSCP, CLTD, Six Sigma) is an asset.
- Demonstrated success in leading large, diverse teams and managing complex, multi-site operations.

+ Responsible for accurate, complete, and timely management of orders for assigned markets by managing the entire life cycle from order to cash.
+ Support BF Supply Chain Initiatives and department metrics (Perfect Order, Full Load, Out of Stock, etc.) and offer improvements on orders where gaps exist.
+ Key liaison with internal and external partners, field sales, production sites, co-packers, logistics, pricing, common processes, route to consumer group, external manufacturing, contract manufacturing, quality assurance, and shipping/warehousing personnel to manage and assess cost-reducing delays and impacts to market.
+ Develop communication on critical information related to product and shipments with a focus on meeting partner needs timely and accurately; ultimately supporting the supply chain business strategy.
+ Manage the introduction of new products (new SKUs/changes in configuration, innovation projects) and/or package or proof changes with partners in assigned markets focused on a seamless order experience.
+ Manage electronic data interchange (EDI) of distributor purchase orders ensuring error-free data transfer into BF SAP System. This includes timely set-up of data tables, providing accurate information to distributors for their table set-ups to keep work-flow errors to a minimum.
+ Perform all shipment verification activities for designated warehouse locations (drop delivery, PGI, special billing, etc.).
+ Manage the research and resolution of order discrepancies with warehouse or production personnel via SAP QM Module. This includes root cause analysis of discrepancies received, working closely with internal partners to troubleshoot the issue, and developing and implementing a corrective action plan.
+ Work with internal brand teams on allocated products, manage SAP upload process using Allocation Tracking program and SAP R3. Manage all changes, analyze production yields versus allocated quantities, and then manage redistribution of allocations for all internal partners to ensure orders stay within established guidelines.
+ Responsible for managing distributor profiles including regulatory requirements, SAP distributor master data, carrier routings, product specifications, special instructions (to execute the order), distributor guides, etc.
+ Analyze SAP, Track and Trace, and a variety of other reports to solve problems related to the current status of open orders, addressing delays, timely, urgent or special requests that are needed to support the order to cash process.
+ Analyze order patterns of assigned markets for process improvements (order smoothing, maximum load shipments, full layers/pallets, review distributor inventory for rush order requests, etc.).
+ Execute processes to meet performance expectations and the demands of the markets assigned.
+ Manage special assignments as required, such as ad hoc reporting.

+ College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent); Bachelor Degree with general business or supply chain related experience; or minimum of 2-4 years of combined education and experience.

**The Opportunity**
As the Principal Supply Chain Data Scientist, you will lead advanced analytical initiatives to optimize pharmaceutical distribution processes, leveraging cutting-edge data science methodologies and technologies. Based at our main US Distribution facility in Louisville, Kentucky, this role goes beyond traditional data analysis to design predictive and prescriptive models, fostering innovation in supply chain strategy and decision-making. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Excellence, you will drive advanced analytics, process optimization, and strategic supply chain insights. This position combines technical expertise, leadership, and collaboration to impact the broader supply chain ecosystem.
**What You'll Do**
Advanced Data Analysis & Predictive Modeling:
+ Design, implement, and validate advanced algorithms and predictive models to solve supply chain challenges in a high-pace distribution operation.
+ Apply machine learning, statistical methods, and optimization techniques to enhance forecasting, inventory management, and logistics planning.
+ Analyze large datasets and business systems to identify trends, patterns, and innovative opportunities using data mining tools and statistical approaches.
+ Develop advanced AI-driven tools for improved planning accuracy, distribution efficiency, and warehouse operations.
+ Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Tableau.
+ Generate and distribute reports using SQL Reporting Services.
Supply Chain Distribution Optimization & Innovation:
+ Develop and implement distribution plans to optimize product movement from manufacturing facilities to customers.
+ Create and execute detailed schedules for deliveries, warehouse operations, and related activities.
+ Effectively manage warehouse capacity modeling and assessments to ensure accurate and timely insights.
+ Conduct space utilization analysis, evaluating how effectively warehouse space is being used and identifying areas for improvement
+ Plan inbound/outbound logistics to meet daily and weekly distribution schedules.
+ Plan efficient delivery routes and schedules for cost-effective transportation of medications.
+ Analyze the distribution network to identify bottlenecks, optimize routes, and improve overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
+ Drive the creation of digital twin models for scenario planning and strategic decision-making, ensuring efficient and sustainable supply chain practices.
+ Evaluate and propose innovation opportunities through investment modeling and process improvements.
Strategic Impact & Communication:
+ Serve as a strategic advisor, translating business challenges into actionable, data-driven insights.
+ Present findings, recommendations, and strategic plans to senior leadership, aligning advanced analytics with organizational goals.
+ Act as the subject matter expert in supply chain analytics, providing guidance across initiatives and projects.
+ Manage data governance frameworks, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.
Performance Monitoring, Accurate Reporting, Improvement, and Problem Solving:
+ Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, inventory turns, and order fulfillment rates to identify areas for improvement.
+ Analyze performance data to identify issues and implement changes to enhance efficiency and customer service.
+ Address disruptions in the distribution process promptly and develop contingency plans for potential risks.
+ Regularly review performance metrics and adjust processes for ongoing optimization.
+ Use advanced planning systems and AI-driven tools to improve planning accuracy and optimize warehouse operations.
+ Create comprehensive documentation and reports to communicate insights and recommendations.
+ Regulatory Compliance:
+ Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines related to pharmaceutical distribution and supply chain management.
+ Business Intelligence (BI):
+ Create, implement, and manage data integration workflows using SQL Integration Services.
+ Develop multidimensional cubes and tabular models in SQL Analysis Services.
+ Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all BI systems.
+ Continuously improve BI processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
**Who You Are**
+ Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, or Computer Science) required.
+ Advanced degrees (Master's, PhD) in the same fields strongly preferred, with demonstrated expertise in supply chain analytics.
+ Previous Experience:
+ Over 10 years of experience in supply chain analytics, business intelligence, or advanced data science roles, with a minimum of 8 years in advanced supply chain analytics.
+ Demonstrated track record of implementing analytics within a supply chain context, with pharmaceutical distribution expertise strongly preferred.
+ Technical Knowledge / Skills / Competencies:
+ Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud-based tools with experience in developing machine learning models and optimization algorithms.
+ Hands-on experience with advanced statistical and machine learning packages (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, R).
+ Skilled in optimization tools (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX) and inventory management platforms.
+ Deep understanding of supply chain management principles, including forecasting, inventory optimization, logistics planning, and procurement.
+ In-depth experience with pharmaceutical distribution requirements, industry standards, and compliance regulations.
+ Familiarity with warehouse operations, capacity planning, network design, and space utilization analysis.
+ Familiarity with SQL Integration Services, SQL Analysis Services, and SQL Reporting Services.
**Relocation funding is not available for this role.**
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Louisville, Kentucky is $127,100 - $236,100. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. **Is the Supply Chain Development Program right for you?**
Our Supply Chain Development Program (SCDP) is an accelerated training program for college graduates who have the desire to excel in today's fast-paced Supply Chain environment. We will enhance your Supply Chain skill set by providing exposure to our various facets of Supply Chain and experienced leaders within a diverse Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization at both the corporate and plant level.
This program is structured to last 36 months and will allow for consistent growth and individual development opportunities. You will rotate through three Supply Chain functions during your time in the program. These rotations will vary based on business needs and your career aspirations. At least one rotation in a plant will be required. Some of your potential rotations could be in, but not limited to:
Manufacturing
+ Owns reliability improvement for an assigned production line using reliability tools that the Associate will be trained on throughout the program
+ Develops the operating teams' technical understanding and mastery of process control.
+ Verifies the accuracy of the operating equipment efficiency data and works with line leads, maintenance leads and other plant leads to address gaps
+ Owns results and loss reduction, as well as capability for assigned production line.
+ Owns personal action plans that drive improvement for the plants
+ Manages production staff to attain production and quality goals (including hiring and disciplining)
Engineering
+ Communication and coordination with multiple stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Finance, EHS and RQI).
+ External interaction will include, however, is not limited to, equipment vendors, construction contractors, engineering services contractors, and co-manufacturing organizations
+ For projects of various sizes, develops Front-End-Loading packages (FEL's) that are complete, clear, concise, and reflecting thorough due diligence to ensure project success
+ May manage small projects independently
+ Participate and execute experiments in plant trials
+ Work to develop subject matter expertise of the packaging principals and operating systems for assigned areas
Quality
+ Owns workstreams that support plant goals related to quality and food safety. Tracks progress and leads related project work
+ Completes industry recognized certifications to support compliance at the facility (ConAgra Certified Sanitarian, PCQI, and HACCP)
+ Identifies quality/food safety problems on the production line and works to resolve them
+ Owns assigned compliance activities such as record review, product testing, leading quality/food safety training
**Do you have what it takes?**
+ Bachelor's degree in programs related to Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Food Science or Agriculture or a related program of study no later than June 2026 (January start dates available for December grads)
+ You desire to be a leader and grow within the Supply Chain function
