As a Market Credit Manager, you will administer the daily credit and collection management duties of the credit department within the guidelines set forth in the company credit policy manual consistent with the various approval limits assigned to each credit manager. The execution of this task must be accomplished in the manner which is both sales supportive, minimizes credit losses and maximizes return on accounts receivable investment.

Responsibilities:

Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Shared credit operation managing the A/R for the Houston area.
  • Conduct credit investigations on existing and potential customers to extend or raise credit limit
  • Review credit information obtained, evaluate the credit risk and approve or decline credit accounts
  • Monitor monthly balances of customers
  • Follow closely the course of aging accounts and determine action to be taken on delinquent accounts
  • Plan and maintain a program for the systematic follow-up and collection of receivables
  • Review and manage credit limits daily
  • Review lien filing report daily to protect and enforce bond and lien rights
  • Follow up on disputes in a timely manner and work with salespeople and customers to resolve.
  • Facilitate bad debt recovery by monitoring potential write-offs and collecting on previous write-offs, and taking legal action when necessary
  • Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of all local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the management and collection of accounts receivable including but not limited to: Anti-Trust, Liens, Bonds Fair Debt Collection Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Record Retention, Sarbanes-Oxley, and the Uniform Commercial Code
  • Work with customers in the branch and visit them onsite regularly, either with salespeople or alone.
  • Extend credit to customers in accordance with established company policies and terms in a timely manner
  • Personally handle major accounts requiring individual attention, marginal accounts, problem accounts, special credit arrangements, and deviations from standards
  • Provide direction and guidance to less experienced team members
  • Occasional travel within a defined area may be necessary
  • Performing other duties and functions as requested by management
Qualifications:

A successful Market Credit Manager will possess the following:
  • Bachelor's Degree in the Finance field preferred
  • 3 + yrs Credit Management Experience preferred
  • Experience in Credit, Collections, and/or Accounts Receivables
  • Self-confident, strong communication skills and inquisitive
  • Good judgment, problem solving skills, and ability to see the "big picture"
  • Handle stress, manage time and people and analyze numbers

Job Summary

Provides day-to-day administrative support for all activities within the Distribution Operations area office, including data entry, work order processing, bi-weekly bargaining unit payroll entry and reconciliation of payroll issues, assisting with meeting arrangements (reserving auditorium and conference rooms), and filing, record maintenance.

Essential Functions

  • Perform all needed administrative duties including requisitioning and expediting request for material, tools, and office supplies; typing, distributing, and filing documents; maintenance of electronic employee time records, maintain filing system for tailboards, property damage reports and signed timesheets. (for Distribution linemen, Primary Metering, and Major Underground groups)
  • Clear error log, enter missing time, run over/under report, and print timesheets when needed in SAP.
  • Complete Quality Control Checklist for Payroll activities.
  • Enter weekly duty bonuses allotted to linemen that qualify for the duty bonus pay provided by the supervisors.
  • Keep record of vacation/holiday balances and work schedules for distribution operations and major underground personnel
  • Maintain and update service center Seniority list for linemen.
  • Performs work order creation in SAP to ensure the accuracy of records used to construct, maintain, and operate the company's electric delivery system. Any work that does not require a pole loading analysis (PLA) or requires a structural analysis.
  • Completes work order completion processes; prioritize and track issues through resolution including communication of results to key stakeholders.
  • Creates and analyzes reports to verify accuracy and timeliness of work order origination, completion and error reporting including 60-90-120-240 day, Retirement, Unitization, and CWIP reports.
  • Communicate with Distribution Operations/Major Underground personnel to learn job status or schedule.
  • Interface with building maintenance personnel as needed to ensure repair and maintenance of facilities.
  • At the request of distribution operations / major underground personnel retrieve relevant information pertaining to the status of the service request.


  • Maintains records of prescription safety glasses purchased, and reimbursement for mileage by entering it in One-Pay; process credit card expenses in One Pay for head linemen, supervisors and or managers as requested by Electric Operations.
  • Acts as department liaison with outside vendors for printer agreement
  • Notarize affidavits for Field Service Representatives and other distribution operations / major underground groups.
  • No WOTS report orders associated with Service Consultants. DOSAA's will only correct trouble orders or work order maps with a DOSAA's employee number.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, with following exceptions:
  • May volunteer to coordinate non-profit activities within the service center (i.e. Blood Drive, March of Dimes, United Way) but not required as part of essential duties/responsibilities.
  • May volunteer to present safety topics at safety meetings or complete safety observations but not required as part of essential duties/responsibilities.
  • No additional QA/QC work.

Education Description

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of basic mathematics, English grammar, and punctuation.

Experience

  • Requires a minimum of three (3) years in distribution construction, reliability, customer service and or marketing position. Related experience performing clerical and /or administrative duties, including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and email software.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for receiving, keying, and promptly distributing all supplies within the facility, as well as reviewing and maintaining all Min/Max levels for storeroom safety stock as well as all other stocking locations. The Supply Chain Technician is also responsible for conducting physical inventories of all POU areas according to the defined schedule.
What you will do in this role:
+ Deliver supplies in an accurate and timely manner
+ Is authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices relative to core competencies of the position
+ Place safety stock in proper location
+ Receive expedited deliveries, accurately key receiving into the SMART system, and deliver to appropriate department(s)
+ Receive all cross-docked items into the SMART system as appropriate
+ Review Min/Max for storeroom safety stock daily and place orders appropriately
+ Count par level areas (POU areas) weekly according to schedule

Job Description

At Houston Methodist, the Sr. Supply Technician position is responsible for performing the physical inventory-related tasks in Supply Chain Management, including but not limited to receiving, storage, distribution, and replenishment of supplies and equipment, including rental equipment, used throughout the hospital campus or central distribution center to promote a clinically-integrated Supply Chain. This position will perform tasks such as the delivery of supply and equipment orders, stocking of supplies, rotation of supplies, checking of expiration dates, removal of excess inventory and cleaning of clinical equipment. The Sr. Supply Chain Technician position will assist in customer inquiry and perform financial transactions in various hospital systems, apply moderate skills and understanding of department and hospital processes and procedures, including but not limited to working knowledge of inventory management systems, clinical product and equipment, to provide support to clinical and ancillary areas, while working independently under minimal supervision.

+ Receives, picks, stages and delivers supplies and equipment, including rental equipment, according to schedule and within established guidelines, while ensuring the transactions occurring physically mirror the transactions occurring within the appropriate inventory management system.
+ Responds to and oversees supply and equipment requests, both urgent and routine, within established guidelines of the department.
**QUALITY/SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
+ Reviews, maintains and executes changes for supply and equipment inventory levels to ensure inventory is managed and replenished appropriately to prevent stock-outs or over-stock situations.
+ Using documentation such as delivery manifest, pick ticket or packing slip, inspects and audits supply and equipment deliveries based on department standards and procedures (i.e. quantity, unit of measure, correct label, physical condition, product expiration).
+ Assists with capture of non-conforming products by rounding and inspecting supplies and equipment when defects or recalls are identified and routinely for identification and removal of expired product. Ensures clinical supply and equipment areas are clean and organized.
+ Responsible for basic trouble-shooting of concerns in the inventory management systems, including but not limited to PAR Excellence Scale Errors or locating deliveries based on workflow through the systems.
**FINANCE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
+ Responsible for input of all Supply Chain transactions (inventory, receipt, etc.) and ensures transactions are completed accurately within the appropriate tracking systems and within the established guidelines of the department.
+ Uses resources efficiently; does not waste supplies. Utilizes efficient and cost-effective work practices with department resources and supplies; provides recommendations to reduce expenses. Self-motivated to independently manage time effectively and prioritize department daily tasks, minimizing incidental overtime.
**GROWTH/INNOVATION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
+ Generates and communicates new ideas and suggestions that improve quality of department services.
+ Participates in special projects and department initiatives and seeks opportunities to expand learning with a focus on continual development. Completes and updates the individual development plan (IDP) on an on-going basis.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for receiving, keying, and promptly distributing all supplies within the facility, as well as reviewing and maintaining all Min/Max levels for storeroom safety stock as well as all other stocking locations. The Supply Chain Technician is also responsible for conducting physical inventories of all POU areas according to the defined schedule.
**What you will do in this role:**
+ Deliver supplies in an accurate and timely manner
+ Is authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices relative to core competencies of the position
+ Place safety stock in proper location
+ Receive expedited deliveries, accurately key receiving into the SMART system, and deliver to appropriate department(s)
+ Receive all cross-docked items into the SMART system as appropriate
+ Review Min/Max for storeroom safety stock daily and place orders appropriately
+ Count par level areas (POU areas) weekly according to schedule
+ Ensure POU items have the appropriate barcodes
+ Perform QA random checks on totes per approved policy
+ Rotate stock in POU areas and backup storeroom areas to ensure no items are out of date
+ Check after-hour logs for charges and determine how to avoid reoccurrence
+ React appropriately to POU "critical point" messages and stock outs
+ Process all "returns to vendor" or "returns to backup stock" appropriately
+ Provide assistance to the POU Station personnel as well as provide assistance with problems, questions and concerns at the nurses stations
