Position Summary
The Energy Conservation Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships in addition to focusing on Energy Appraisals and remediation opportunities. This role may also conduct, perform, prepare, and present appraisals, book orders, assist in project execution, and help collect receivables.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain customer relationships by demonstrating professionalism in providing excellent customer service through regular contact, prompt, quality responses, and offering client entertainment opportunities
- Help to identify and develop new customers and opportunities
- Seek and identify appraisal opportunities with new and assigned customers, including mechanical insulation, building envelope, steam trap surveys, and other services
- Travels as needed to perform appraisals (travel may be out of town and/or overnight)
- Accurately maintain CRM for new and assigned customers
- Generate scope of work on a project-by-project basis
- Follows up and is familiar with the outcome of all Energy Assessment jobs that are bid
- Join industry trade groups and attend trade shows as applicable/approved by management
- Prepare appraisal, and remediation proposal and submit to Manager for review
- Coordinate implantation plans for the remediation work
- Follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Responsible to assist in the collection of receivables if requested
- Participate in the company's continuous improvement process
- Attends continuous education opportunities to ensure continued competency
- Supports the company safety programs
- Exhibits a spirit of cooperation and teamwork with all of the organization, ensuring that all communication is handled promptly, thoroughly, and with courtesy.

Job Summary:
Bizzell US has an immediate need for an Energy Conservation Manager at NASA's AMES Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Mountainview, CA. The Energy Conservation Manager will spearhead efforts to enhance energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and promote sustainability across the JPL campus. The role requires extensive experience in energy management, project coordination, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The manager will develop and implement energy conservation strategies, monitor energy usage, and ensure compliance with JPL's stringent standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:

Requirements

Provides direct supervision to the HVAC and Boiler teams, and has authority over the hiring and firing process. Works daily with HVAC and Boiler Room on the operation and troubleshooting of equipment/systems as well as long term education plans. Interacts with management and other staff to evaluate needs and proceed to solution of problems affecting staff and/or equipment needs.
Produces through effective use of Energy Management principles efficiencies in equipment operation and trade response. Maintains all safety standards in regard to work activities. Communicates with director and team regarding progress of work and activities. Assists in maintaining team work schedule. Maintains understanding of JCAHO regulations and provides support in meeting the requirements.
