Job Purpose
Act as SME to Lead/Support multidisciplinary facility projects and systems (PLC, shifting speed drive, motors, arc-flash, etc.) by effectively performing electronic engineering responsibilities. Specialty topics may include, but not limited to electronic utilities (supply and distribution, lighting, fire detection and alarm, etc.) Work with contractors to verify that the design and construction meet specifications, code and performance expectations. Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; resolve operational problems, minimize delays, identify, develop, and gather necessary resources to complete the project
Analyses current operating conditions and recommends new preventative and proactive methods for maintaining and monitoring facilities systems. Evaluates facility standards and practices to improve maintenance procedures and ensure optimal operational efficiency. Involved in business planning process and long-term investment planning. Participates in the planning and installation of new facility systems and provides knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations for various infrastructure, equipment, and building disciplines.
Key Accountabilities
- Utility Management – Manage utility infrastructure reliability, capacity, and safety. Assess utility capacity versus demand, and analyse operational trends. Plan and execute necessary utility outage activities, including appropriate customer communication and support. Evaluate new technology and manage system end-of-life characteristics, seeking opportunities for utility infrastructure innovation. Apply electrical and facilities expertise and facilitate the sharing of knowledge and best practice.
- Technical Project Management -- Work with internal customers and external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to develop initial concept, specification, design, procurement scope, fabrication/construction, and installation-related documents. Communicate and work with department design team members, bringing technical expertise and knowledge to projects, and managing the overall execution of projects.
- Budget Management -- Maintain organizational budgets for capital investment and expense activities, such as maintenance and repair of facility assets and contracted support services. Budget responsibilities include formulating requests, tracking expenditures, analyzing trends, and adjusting budgets to address business needs.
- Contract Management -- Arrange and manage appropriate contracted services support, as needed. Ensure all work meets or exceeds defined organization targets. Manage work to ensure all deliverables comply with associated contract documents, codes and regulations, industry standards, and Honda standards, as applicable.
- Maintenance Coordination -- Prepare and execute preventative maintenance programs to ensure operational health and optimum uptime for assigned infrastructure, equipment, and building assets.
- Operations Support -- Utilize technical knowledge of electrical utility and infrastructure systems, project management, analytical decision-making, risk assessment, and troubleshooting / problem solving, to support facilities-related operations in order to meet or exceed organization metrics.

Job Purpose
As a senior member of the Advanced CAE Department, you will be responsible to lead 1D CAE model and method creation related to electrical systems like wire harness and electrical control units in order to verify voltage drop and electrical load-balance as well as electrical device performance and power consumption. Proficient use of CAE contributes to improved optimization, speed, and efficiency of our products and development processes.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead a small team to develop and validate new CAE methods for both specification setting and product verification.
- Lead collaboration and negotiation with test and part design engineers to understand the physical part and test procedures in order to accurately set the CAE model boundaries, constraints, and assumptions. Effectively present analysis and information to technical experts.
- Create documentation for the registration of CAE Models as a verified tool for specification setting and product verification.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- BS in mechanical or electrical engineering. Advanced degree preferred.
- BS and 6+ years engineering experience minimum. MS and 3+ years engineering experience or PhD and 0-2 years engineering experience.

Job Purpose

Key Accountabilities

Responsibilities
The Battery Materials and Systems (BMS) Group within the Energy Processes and Materials Division of the Energy and Environment Directorate at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory works on a diverse portfolio of storage technologies including Li-ion battery, redox flow battery, Na-metal halide battery, Na-ion battery, Pb -acid, and aqueous Zn batteries. The research ranges from fundamental and applied material research to battery prototyping and demonstration, battery reliability testing, and safety codes and standards.
The position is for a highly motivated and established person to help lead PNNL's work in ESS safety. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge in ESS codes & standards, system design and deployment, and experience developing and delivering educational outreach to broad stakeholders. In general, the BMS Group is currently seeking an individual to help lead the energy storage safety and educational efforts at PNNL. Specifically, this position will play a key role representing PNNL on technical committees, present research/education and standards updates, and support battery safety efforts for deployment projects. Additional responsibilities will be in supporting the ESS safety program efforts within the Safety & Reliability program, and system deployment within the Industrial Acceptance program.
The candidate has the opportunity to join a team of about 60 world-class scientists and engineers working on varieties of battery technologies with diverse backgrounds in electrochemistry, materials science, and electrical engineering.

**As an Energy Performance Services Sales Manager, you will:**
+ Develop value propositions for target vertical markets including commercial and industrial, healthcare, higher education, state and local government, and the public and private K-12 school market and develop short term (3‒6 months) and long-term (2‒3 years) strategic sales plans
+ Establish executive-level relationships with targeted customers, develop and implement direct and indirect sales organizational structures and sales plans and develop sales forecasts and provide input to sales targets
+ Maintain trade contacts and participate in industry association functions, communicate goals, provide mentoring to develop skills, lead employee performance, and conduct performance appraisals and manage sales activity and track key sales metrics (funnel management, sales process, coverage of critical accounts, compliance topics, etc.)
+ Promote team selling and expansion of existing relationships across divisions and/or geographic areas and act as a resource to sales employees regarding our products, applications, and services; support the sales process through all phases, including job turnover and implementation
+ Coach sellers to strategically assess customer needs and identify customer buying priorities and review bids to ensure accuracy to meet company and customer objectives. Assist employees in setting margins, identifying resources, and assessing future business
+ Network with field organization, headquarters, and other Siemens divisions to gain knowledge of offerings; share knowledge with your team and other employees and assist the sales team in identifying market opportunities; develop strategies to improve impact to the company
+ Articulate and drive our digitalization strategy, remote services, and big data analytics
+ Travel overnight 60% on average for training and business development.

Basic Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or state-recognized GED
+ 5+ years of sales experience
+ Must be able to demonstrate:
+ Industry knowledge of the Energy Services Company (ESCO) and Distributed Energy markets, including trends and key financial and organizational influences that support customer investment decisions
+ Leadership capabilities to inspire and lead an organization with a track record for establishing growth and development of sales personnel
+ Business and financial acumen with the ability to match financing programs with customer goals and objectives
+ Ability to balance the needs of the customer with the financial goals of the company

As an Energy Marshal, you will oversee and manage the energy program, ensuring the safe and efficient use of all energy sources on-site. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining compliance, implementing safety protocols, and supporting operational teams throughout the project.
The specifics of the role include:
- Partner with operations, safety and environmental teams to secure program compliance controlling hazardous energy.
- Ensure appropriate inspection and testing documents are complete prior to energization of equipment and gear on project sites. Coordinate with QC department.
- Utilize SPS-101 Energy Isolation Guidebook in conjunction with NFPA70E as base for Energy Program on project site.
- Conduct routine audits to ensure energy isolation program is being followed and safe working conditions are maintained throughout project site.
- Manage routine meetings, participating in High-Risk Activity, to update Project and Operations teams on any issues and progress from Energy Program.
- Create and manage reports to present to management teams on updates of energy program.
- Train new and existing team members on requirements of energy program to ensure site safety.
- Coordinate with Commissioning Manager to establish commissioning sequences and testing.
- Manage the site Lock Out/Tag Out program.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or 10+ years' experience in Electrical Trade.
- 10-15 years of experience with MEP systems, and a strong background in managing hazardous energy in large, complex construction projects.
- Extensive knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC).
- NFPA 70e Certification.
- NFPA CESCP Certification a plus.
- Experience with MV/HV systems and Electrical Testing and Verification.
- Data Center experience a plus.
- Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding.
- Ability to lift objects at least 50lbs.
