**Overview**
The Project Manager I Energy assists with the entire life cycle of an engineering project from inception to closure, which includes large controls installation projects in addition to traditional controls design and retro-commissioning engineering-focused projects. Also assists to ensure that the project is delivered efficiently and effectively in accordance with the budget, schedule, and while exceeding the client's expectations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assists with the management of the full engineering project lifecycle, from initial project planning phases through the completion of construction.
+ Participates in meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and other design personnel to establish project plans, budgets, and schedules.
+ Coordinates project resources and tracks project progress against established timelines and schedules, under the direct supervision of a PM II or III.
+ Assist the PM team to ensure the work is completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
+ Assist with the selection, negotiation, and coordination of the work of vendors, contractors, or sub-contractors.
+ Assists with resource management and scheduling tasks in support of assigned projects.
+ Tracks project progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators and prepares and delivers reports to management, under the direct supervision of a PM II or III.
+ Working knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices.
**Qualifications**
**Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications**
+ Baccalaureate Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
+ 3+ years of related industry experience working in integrated project teams in one of the following sectors: Engineering, Construction, Facilities Management, or Energy.
+ Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
+ Ability to work as part of a team.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.
**Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications**
+ Professional Engineering (PE) License.

**JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:**

**JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop and maintain the company's standards in engineering design for new renewable generation plants, energy storage projects, and other zero or low carbon technologies.
+ Contributes to the development of project deliverables as necessary during each step of the stage gate process.
+ Supports and participates in the technical evaluation of project proposals to ensure conformance to technical standards.
+ Participates in contractor/vendor selection process to ensure sufficient due diligence of their engineering experience, competencies, and capabilities.
+ Assists in resolution of project technical queries (RFIs) and interface issues.
+ Coordinates with the project team to ensure that design of projects are executed in accordance with appropriate codes, specifications, schedules, and good engineering practice.
+ Manages the review of engineering and design to assure compliance with the contract, permits, codes, and utility design standards and supports the operations and maintenance goals of projects in development and execution.
+ Ensures that engineering is complete, accurate and constructible for all elements of a project's scope.
+ Ensures that the drawings and designs documents are organized and maintained in conjunction with all applicable requirements.
+ Supports cross-functional team consisting of internal Subject Matter Experts, Owners Engineers, EPC contractors and technical consultants from development of project through Permitting, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning and Closeout.
+ Oversees performance of contracted engineering, coordinates all contractor and owner's engineering interfaces, and ensures projects are completed according to project construction drawings, specifications, schedule, quality and performance requirements.
+ Supports project construction and start-up on an as needed basis.

+ **Power System Studies** : Conduct and review detailed AC/DC calculations using ETAP, including short circuit, voltage drop, arc-flash, motor starting, and relay coordination.

**Job Summary**
The Gas General Foreman leads the crew to complete daily tasks related to the installation and repair of natural gas pipelines and/or joint trench utilities for power and telephone in a safe and correct manner. The position oversees crew safety and productivity, installing and pressure testing both mainline and service line gas pipe, as well as completing routine safety inspections and documentation. This position oversees the Line team and works with customers, senior management, and personnel from other departments.
Responsibilities
+ Obtain all necessary licenses, permits, and materials for each job.
+ Oversee and coordinate crew work to install natural gas pipelines via open-cut or directional drill methods.
+ Oversee, accomplish, and ensure all work quality related to each project and assume full responsibility for its standard and timeliness.
+ Coordinate and delegate daily tasks to crew members related to digging and placing product.
+ Gain entry to site buildings for work crew and call in utilities located at each project site.
+ Facilitate daily toolbox talks and weekly safety inspections to ensure the crews work safely.
+ Complete all paperwork in a timely manner. Train new hires and trainees to learn the trade.
+ Track employee hours and submit for payroll on a timely basis.
+ Call in utilities located at each project site.
+ Inspect existing utilities are properly identified and exposed, to ensure piping is correctly installed and fused, job meets customer specifications, and it meets company quality standards.
+ Drive, haul, and/or operate equipment to/from job sites to assist crews in completion of work.
+ Keep the job(s) moving on time, clean up, and perform job restoration at the end of job.
+ Communicate with customers and inspectors.
Qualifications
+ High school diploma, or equivalent.
+ 3 years of gas pipeline construction or maintenance experience.
+ 2 years of supervisory experience.
+ Current and valid Class A CDL.
+ OSHA 10 certification.
**Preferred**
+ 5 or more years of gas pipeline construction experience.
+ Operator Qualification (OQ).
+ Pipe fusion certification.
+ DOT Flagger certification.
+ First Aid and CPR certification.
**Physical Demands and Work Environment**
This job operates in a field environment. This role routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, lifting in awkward positions, standing, and twisting. Also, working in inclement weather conditions, such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This position is physically active, with lifting required. Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more or 20 inches or less, with the ability to judge distance and space relationships. Precise hand-eye coordination. Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
