DEFINITION Conducts highly complex professional audits of law enforcement operations which includes investigations, programs, procedures, records, and other related areas, and prepares comprehensive reports on audit findings. CLASSIFICATION STANDARDS Positions allocable to this class are located in the Sheriff Department and are responsible for managing and conducting highly complex performance audits relating to law enforcement operations. This classification acts as a project manager and is distinguished by its role in providing technical guidance to assigned investigative teams comprised of sworn personnel. Positions are responsible for providing independent and objective reviews and assessments of the organization's law enforcement investigative operations, practices, policies and procedures, focusing on high-risk areas and its compliance to policies and procedures; determining whether internal controls are adequate to address inherent risks within administrative and operational processes to comply with applicable laws, policies, procedures, and professional standards. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS A Bachelor's degree* from an accredited college or university AND either: OPTION I: Two years of auditing experience in law enforcement operations conducting performance, compliance, operations, or program audits in accordance with professional auditing standards in a law enforcement agency. OPTION II: Three years of professional auditing experience, with a high degree of independence and knowledge, in a governmental agency conducting complex management, performance, financial, and compliance audits according to professional auditing standards. Position Summary:
The EPD/Security Officer provides patient and visitor greetings, Guides patients seeking emergency care to the areas to sign in for triage. Screens patients before they are seen in triage using a portable or fixed metal detector. Provides a high visibility of security for the ED, Triage and Admissions areas. This position provides directions for all visitors and patients using the emergency department entrance. This position will assist contract security officers during heightened security events. Organizational Expectations:
As a law enforcement unit officer, you will observe, study, and assist Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officers to learn the job skills required to enforce federal laws and Federal Reserve policies and regulations to protect life, property, and assets. General Responsibilities:
Develop skills necessary to control the admittance and departure of employees, visitors, vehicles, and packages to and from the building.
Screen employees and visitors including vendors and contractors, for weapons or other destructive devices using magnetometer, screening equipment, wands, and x-ray machines as well as manually searching individuals and packages.
Screen vehicles entering the Bank premises, such as parking garages, general delivery, and security courts, or assigned valuables handling areas.
Develop proficiency in areas such as weapons (lethal and non-lethal), first aid, CPR, civil disorders, and public relations, through the completion of the Basic Law Enforcement Course and the Field Training and Evaluation Program.
Develop proficiency in use of personal computer and related software, computerized physical access control systems, video surveillance equipment, x-ray and metal detection equipment, various alarms systems and Automated External Defibrillators.

Work Environment
This is primarily an office classification although standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. Positions in this classification occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull drawers open and closed to retrieve and file information. SUMMARY
Responsible for processing open records requests for police related records. Provide customer service through various means of communication. Process open records requests, logs and maintains the requests in a database. Redacts reports, views, and listens to and redacts audio, video, and case photos. Will be required to determine legal responses to requests; compose letters for responses to requests; and relay requests to the legal department as needed. Answer phones and assist customers at the back counter of the Records Division. Search microfilm/scanner machine for information.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Determines legal responses to requests and composes letters for responses to requests.
- Relays requests to the legal department as needed.
- Answer phones and assist customers at the back counter and searches microfilm machine.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to type 45 wpm; ability to operate a PC; six months experience dealing with the public; knowledge of office procedures; ability to scan documents; ability to multi-task; ability to pay attention to detail; ability to sit for long period of time; must be able to work well with fellow employees and in a team work environment; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language at a high school graduate level; must be a high school graduate or have a GED or 12 hours from an accredited college; must have normal hearing or corrected to normal; 20/40 or corrected to 20/40 eyesight; ability to follow written and verbal instructions; ability to work under stressful conditions; ability to occasionally work overtime.
Must be able to pass NCIC/TCIC, CJIS requirements, training, and testing within 6 months of being hired.
Prior to being accepted for this position, applicant must successfully complete a polygraph exam.
A Police Department employee must have an excellent reputation in order to maintain the public's trust in the Police Department. WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is primarily an office classification although standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator and to operate standard office equipment; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. Positions in this classification occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull drawers open and closed to retrieve and file information. The EPD/Security Officer provides patient and visitor greetings, Guides patients seeking emergency care to the areas to sign in for triage.
