This individual will lead field and engineering planning and design efforts related to water resource facilities and water conveyances; preparing and overseeing design reports, engineering drawings and specifications, project cost estimates, and engineering support during construction.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties
  • Provide oversight and design expertise for water conveyance projects including pipelines.

General Summary

KSI Engineering, Inc. is looking for a Project Engineer who is interested in joining a multi-disciplinary team focused on serving relationship-based clients and internal business units across multiple states.

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing the best quality technical field support and service to our medical imaging customers through servicing, installing, inspecting, testing and technical troubleshooting for medical imaging equipment. Big Iron experience MR,CT.PET/CT preferred. Formally trained.

Duties:

  • Primarily service medical imaging equipment focused within primary hospital networks.
  • Service medical imaging equipment for parts and service accounts for local area/region as needed.
  • To assure that imaging systems are fully calibrated and functioning to OEM performance levels.
  • To assure the needs of customers are being met and the system is operating based upon their needs.
  • To move the company forward in engineering competency.
  • To represent the company in a manner that shows the user, confidence, knowledge, and courtesy.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the equipment, troubleshoot and complete PMs, installations and all related tasks to independently diagnose and resolve electronic, mechanical, and network problems on medical equipment.
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot for computer systems on the equipment according to OEM specifications.
  • Continual expansion of knowledge base in the repair and installation of equipment.
  • Provide advanced-level diagnosis and repair of imaging systems.
  • Support management through project feedback and communication of issues and opportunities.
  • Be available to handle technical issues and questions.
  • Document processes created and educate end users.
  • Provide feedback to the office from on-site locations and provide a positive presentation of the company to the individuals on-site.
  • This position will primarily involve serving customer sites in a specific hospital network or defined area/region; flexibility to travel as required. This role will require travel within the Northwest region of the US, primarily in Bakersfield, CA area
Requirements
  • B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • 10+ years experience in medical imaging engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • Big Iron Experience MR,CT.PET/CT preferred. Formally trained

GEI's Bakersfield office is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a background in civil, agricultural or water resources engineering. This individual will collaborate with other senior level engineers to lead field and engineering design efforts related to water resource and water conveyance facilities preparing construction drawings and specifications, construction cost estimating, design implementation, and report preparation.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties
  • Collaborate with others to provide oversight and design expertise for pipeline design and quality control expertise for pipeline design related water conveyance and civil design projects.
  • Provide oversight for the development of quality scope, fee, reports, plans, specifications and estimates for multiple projects.
  • Supervise engineer, technicians and other technical staff.
  • Review and evaluate design and construction practices.
  • Attend and lead project meetings and work in a team environment or independently.
  • Identify need and support meetings with internal staff and external clients.
  • Participate in and lead business development activities and contribute to both office and practice growth.
Minimum Qualifications
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in California
  • 15-25 years of experience in pipeline and/or general civil design
  • Familiarity and/or experience with detailed design and specification preparation.
  • Experience managing PEs and EITs with multiple project deadlines
  • Excellent technical report writing and communication skills

Job Description
  • Install and troubleshoot software - antivirus, firewall, Anti-Spyware, etc.
  • Information System Hardware Configuration and Repair.
  • Troubleshoot and repair broken or defective computer hardware ensuring the functionality of computers and computer related equipment throughout the organization Work with Vendors to perform repairs as needed.
  • Computer Moves, Adds & Changes.
  • Operating Systems Reloads.
  • Install and configure software for The Wonderful Company based on the information systems policies and procedures.
  • Assist with Network Administration including new user setup and removal, active directory moves, adds & changes, windows general troubleshooting.
  • Printer maintenance - moves, adds, changes, toner/ink supply management.
  • Mobile device management
  • Troubleshoot and configure handheld Barcode scanners.
  • Primary point of contact for helpdesk calls.
  • Primary point of contact for chat support.
Work Schedule:
  • Flexible schedule (some nights/weekends for events/projects; Longer shifts during peak production may be required).
  • 40+ hour a week shift and an on-call schedule.
Qualifications
  • A.A degree or degree from Technical Trade School and 1 to 2 years of experience in related field or equivalent combination education and experience.
  • A+ Certification Preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Products - Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience with Oracle system a plus.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff members in an effective manner, exhibiting tact, enthusiasm, and patience.
