Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will..
- Architect detailed, logic-based engineering release plans and supplemental schedules in Microsoft Project in support of the IMS.
- Functions as a lead for multiple Engineering Planners. Exerts influence at the higher levels of the Program and organization.
- Work closely with Engineers and Engineering CAMs to develop credible and executable schedules and release plans. Drives accountability and influences stakeholders at senior management levels.
- Work closely with Program Planning to help develop the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Primary POC Engineering Planning during the proposal phase of a Program and help develop the Engineering planning Concept of Operations for the program, provide inputs for Basis of Estimates and architect early supplemental schedules.
- Collaborate with Program Planning and Operations Planning counterparts frequently to maintain vertical and horizontal schedule traceability across the Program as part of the Demand Management process.

**Basic Qualifications:**

Key Role:
Support the execution of a space launch infrastructure roadmap to meet the client's vision. Support engineering efforts, evaluate project planning and programming documents, and design documents. Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with civil engineering project management with planning and programming assistance to client programs geared towards strategic facilities planning, capital investment planning, and construction program management
Experience working with the NEPA process
Knowledge of facilities operations and maintenance
Ability to work directly with clients applying principles of the civil engineering enterprise, including policy and guidance

**The Role**
Prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing programs. Determines, monitors, and reviews costs, operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements. Supports and participates in negotiations with customer. Analyzes effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources. Resolves proposal preparation problems and assesses the progress against established plans and parameters. As part of the PPPY/RPPY merger, the existing WBS 3.2 engineering planning analysts and engineering technicians will be moved into the Machinery Installation and Steam Plant Removal Path group which will become the center of design excellence and innovation, as well as contract performance and commitment management within WBS 3.2. Engineering planning analysts require a supervisor who's a Manager Engineering Planning 2 vice a Manager Design Engineering 1.
