The team already has 1 product that serves the retrieval outreach group, and we are looking to both scale that product globally and expand the ecosystem of products to serve different retrieval functions over the next several years for the business.

Required Experience
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.
- Master's degree or equivalent (optional).
- Professional Engineer professional certification with the ability to obtain licensure in multiple states.
Required Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of engineering, formal/informal communication, teamwork, and leadership.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Effective time and workload management skills, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks with a focus on detail.
- Advanced knowledge of construction drawing and specification packages.
- Advanced knowledge of construction practices and constructability.

- Proficient with structural engineering software, such as Mathcad, STAAD, RISA, Robot, Enercalc, and LPile a plus.
- Background in geotechnical engineering, solar and wind energy, transmission and distribution, and substations a plus.
- AutoCAD or Revit drafting experience is a plus.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
- Proficient in 3D Modeling (AutoCAD Civil 3D).

Structural Testing - Lab Technician
Our client is looking for a mechanically-inclined individual who enjoys carpentry, welding, CAD design, processing test data, and technical research to join their growing team.
Responsibilities
- Create and utilize drawings and other resources to set up product testing.
- Set up monitoring sensors and programming data acquisition equipment to monitor load and movement of structures during testing. This can range from small tests of individual fasteners, to large-scale, complex installations requiring hundreds of sensors.
- Construct, fabricate, and install test specimens, such as walls and trusses, into testing fixtures. This includes work with wood, steel, and concrete.
- Fabricate custom machine components for use during testing.
- Set up and maintain complex equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
This position includes primarily physical work similar to that encountered in residential construction, as well as non-physical work involving hydraulics, electronics, and programming. The right candidate must be able to perform accurate, detailed work. Experience in residential construction is a plus.
