What You Get To Do:- Perform theater/stadium opening and closing duties and daily systems inspections
- Setup and operate daily performances and special events as a stagehand, spotlight operator, lighting operator, audio operator or camera/video equipment operator
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair theatrical equipment
- Ensure assignments are met and department policies are adhered to
- Assist Production team with installations for new shows, special events or Consumer Events
- Monitor and take initiative to ensure assigned show area is 100% show ready, safe and clean at all times
- Work with Stage Manager to complete assigned daily tasks and complete project list items
- Experience with industrial vehicles or watercraft, such as a high reach, forklift, scissor lift, barge, john boat preferred
- Basic understanding of the following disciplines: electrical theory, basic carpentry, and handling/setup of pyrotechnic materials preferred
- Ability to read and interpret lighting plots, schematics, and blueprints preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook equal to business needs preferred
- Possession of a valid state driver's license preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a theme park/theatrical environment with specific training in at least one of the following areas: Lighting, Staging, Video, Audio or Equipment Repair (moving lights, pumps, motors, fixtures, pneumatics)
- Ability to work professionally, responsibly and safely in a team environment
- Be comfortable operating computers and computerized control systems used in theatrical performances
- Have good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally via headset
- Ability to climb a ladder and work at heights between 6 and 65 feet
- Ability to stand, bend or kneel for long periods of time
- Ability to bend, reach, twist and turn with complete flexibility
- Ability to lift, push and pull 50 pounds
- Be comfortable working in theater and outdoor environments (dark/nighttime conditions, in/around water, in varying weather conditions)
- Be comfortable working around animals
- Be comfortable with exposure to noise and vibrations
- Be able to train on and properly use protective gear
- Be comfortable working around fumes/dust/odor
- Be available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e be able to work opening and closing shifts, as well as event rehearsal shifts

Responsible for overseeing all phases of the assigned Marquee Event program. Defines and drives each project scope, from concept to operation, including but not limited to creative design, production, fabrication, technical integration and installation, costuming and makeup development, and operational requirements. Informs and advises Senior Leadership on Project status and issues. Defines and ensures compliance with Universal Orlando policies and Entertainment Creative Development goals and creative intent. Determines strategies ensuring the successful completion of all tasks and/or assignments through all aspects of design, production, and operation from original concept through project close-out. Responsible for ensuring conformance with all 3rd party Intellectual Properties.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ The Senior Show Producer is the Responsible Individual for ensuring the Project is successfully established and integrated. As part of the Project's leadership team, the Senior Show Producer is responsible for partnering with the team to develop, review, and manage project plans, scopes, and strategies, ensuring that the creative intent is developed within the Project's parameters and the Company's business objectives.
+ Provides oversight and direction to the Show Producer, who is functioning as the lead estimator for large scopes of work. Approves budget estimates for all assigned projects including estimate refinements prepared by the Show Producer and outside estimating firms. Reviews continually evolving design documents and estimates to ensure the projects are tracking on budget. Develops conceptual Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates for projects prior to and in Blue Sky Phase to develop initial costs for business unit financial analysis. Creates "value engineering" (VE) components with the project team to mitigate cost overruns.
+ Develops strategic project milestones to align with the overall Project goals. Monitors for changes or delays to the schedule, and forecasts potential timeline risks. This includes but is not limited to the evaluation of Contractor's schedule performance and schedule coordination with other groups and departments.
+ Acts as a principal point of contact for all assigned projects, and manages, interprets, communicates, and presents Project information to a variety of audiences throughout the Project process. Requires ability to read, understand, and interpret Architectural Drawings, and direct communication via contractor tools like Bluebeam. Leads routine project meetings as required.
+ Develops and manages the delivery of stakeholder engagement and communication strategies on all aspects of the project. Provides project touchstones to Sr. Leadership, including budget trending, milestone progress, defined scope, and risk assessments. Ensures conformance with 3rd Party Licensors as required. Prepares reporting tailored to relevant audiences to maintain strong positive engagement from all project stakeholders.
+ Creates initial charter documentation outlining Projects goals, objectives, milestones, staffing plans, topline budget, defined scope, assumptions, and risks. Manages and interfaces with appropriate internal and external resources through every phase of the project ensuring the highest level of integration into the overall strategic plan for the Resort.
+ Develops and manages strategic risk mitigation processes throughout the project lifecycle. Analyzes project trends and projects potential risks, developing mitigation plans as appropriate. Builds risk awareness amongst the project team and prepares recommendations for Senior Leadership.
+ Oversees strategic sourcing and staffing plans to support project development and production efforts. Supports the bidding & awarding of Construction Documents and other work packages. This includes developing a bidders list and managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process. Negotiates and procures outside resources as necessary. Initiates requests for new Standard Term agreements and reviews the creation of new Work Authorization contracts.
+ Ensures that staffing and resources are contracted and approved in accordance with approved project budgets and schedules. Makes employment decisions, including hiring, terminating and promotional recommendations. Evaluates subordinate staff on creative, technical, leadership and interpersonal skills.
+ Ensures that Project's Quality Standards consistently align with the Project's creative intent. This includes regular walks through the production sites to monitor progress and developments to ensure that the work being accomplished is in accordance with the contract documents.
+ Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
+ Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
+ 7+ years Project Management experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
