Production Support (Sanitation) - Marshall, MN
Job Type: Full Time (hourly)
Pay Range: $23.68 per hour
Shift(s) Available: Flexible scheduling (M-F day hours preferred 8:00am-4:30pm)
Summary
Under limited supervision, perform sanitation duties throughout the facility using equipment such as vacuum, mop, broom, etc.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain safety and cleanliness of office, breakrooms, and restrooms in an industrial setting
- Assist with organization/storage of tools and equipment as needed.
- Perform light maintenance tasks as needed.
- Contributes to team effort to complete the assigned Sanitation Schedule items.
- Maintains a neat and clean working area at all times.
- Communicates effectively with the department manager.
- Maintains close contact with the area supervisor, advising the supervisor of problems encountered.
- Utilize computer systems as required in regards to safety, sanitation, and overall plant communications.
- Complete documentation of assigned sanitation tasks.
- Perform duties in a safe manner, utilizing all approved safety equipment, and successfully completes all safety certification requirements.
- Exhibit regular and prompt attendance and maintain attendance record in accordance with company policy.
- May perform reasonably similar or related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
- Previous factory experience (preferred).
- Strong safety performance and value for safety
- Have a general understanding of how to use a computer and email.
- Communicate effectively through speech and writing along with other mediums such as email.
- Must stay motivated and show initiative to complete tasks under limited supervision.
- Display quality work through strong attention to detail.
- Work with a team orientation by coordinating efforts with colleagues to complete tasks effectively.
- Complete ADM safety, food safety, quality, and environmental training (Good Manufacturing Practices, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Safety Regulations, environmental programs, and operational procedures to ensure the safety of coworkers and product integrity)
- Participate in company required training.
- The position requires the ability to work in a variety of environments including varying indoor and outdoor environments to include extreme heat and cold.
- Protective Clothing Required: Hardhat, earplugs, safety glasses, safety-toed shoes, gloves, and other PPE as required by the task.
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally work at elevated levels.

As the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager at INVISTA Longview, you create long-term value by ensuring risks are identified and mitigated while sustaining performance improvement and striving for EHS excellence. This is accomplished by providing leadership and strategic direction to the facility leadership and team through the application of Principle Based Management® (PBM). You will be responsible for development, implementation, and management of EHS compliance programs and systems, ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations.
Our Team
You will join a dedicated EHS team that includes an Environmental Leader, Environmental Engineer, LDAR Coordinator, Safety Specialist, and LDAR Technician. The team works closely with corporate safety professionals, including Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) and Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH), to support the Longview site and establish corporate EHS standards and guidelines. This role is part of the Site Leadership Team and will report to the Site Manager.
What You Will Do
- Develop, implement, and maintain management systems to ensure compliance with EHS policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide proactive leadership and direction to achieve the EH&S vision through management commitment and employee ownership.
- Conduct routine and non-routine EH&S reporting including government interactions, ensuring submissions are compliant with required deadlines.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement preventative measures.
- Ensure all employees and contractors receive adequate EHS training tailored to their job roles and responsibilities, fostering an environment where employees understand and exercise their decision rights regarding EH&S.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular emergency drills.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate EHS considerations into all operational activities.
- Lead the investigation and analysis of incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Track and report EHS performance metrics to senior management, utilizing tools like PowerBI for data analysis and trend identification.
- Engage with the workforce to promote a positive safety culture through regular communication, training, and recognition programs.
- Actively apply Koch's Principle Based Management™ (PBM®) to all EHS activities and initiatives.
- Influence external stakeholders to adopt and integrate Koch's EHS standards and practices.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations, particularly OSHA standards.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and EHS training.
- This role is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
- Experience with managing Environmental programs, including working knowledge of related laws and regulations applicable to a chemical facility.
- Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) and familiarity with PSM standards.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement in safety performance.
- Experience working within the chemical industry or with hazardous mate
