**What You Will Do**
+ Perform work in accordance with various work instructions such as service manuals, workbooks, service bulletins, technical orders, blueprints, customer service instructions and other written and verbal instructions within established methods and procedures.

+ Perform various duties in the operation of Metrology or shop cribs to maintain gages, records and files.
+ Perform appropriate inspection operations including, receiving, process review, visual and dimensional checks, and documentation compliance.
+ Prepare, maintain and monitor all necessary records such as check lists, log sheets, unit history records, routing sheets and schedules.
+ Operate computer terminals to retrieve, enter or verify information.
+ Review customer service instructions to determine extent of service to be performed, generate documentation to determine appropriate routing of hardware.
+ Perform external visual check for damage and abnormalities and record on unit history record and/or receiving inspection form.
+ Order all necessary parts by utilizing automated parts inventory system. Prepare supplemental sales order requisitions as required.
+ Utilize measuring equipment such as surface plate, dial indicators, height gages, micrometers and ohmmeters to perform required checks.
+ Prepare units for preservation and shipping.
+ Operate various machines such as lathes, grinders and millers to meet machining requirement on various products.
+ Clean and degrease parts as required. Monitor PH level for aqueous cleaners.
+ Obtain, move and expedite units, parts and materials within shop to support operations.
+ May be required to operate power industrial truck.
+ Perform test at detail or sub component level.
+ Verify work performed.
+ Support customer witness needs as required.
+ Improve process and solve problems in cooperation with fellow employees and supervision.
+ Perform minor and preventive maintenance such as check fluids levels, lubricate fittings, clean or replace filters, replace bulbs and tighten fittings and/or hardware.
+ Instruct one or two fellow employees in proper performance of duties.
+ Keep equipment and surroundings neat, clean and organized.
+ Perform related duties as required within the scope of this job function.

Job Description
The Maintenance Technician provides specialized skill support to the Maintenance Department. They will support facilities maintenance operations within a cannabis cultivation facility. As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for completing assigned maintenance tasks involving basic to intermediate installation, inspection, and routine upkeep and repair of machines and equipment.
This is a full time position at $19 per hour in our Rocky Hill (CTPharma) facility. This is second shift, 2pm-10:30pm. Overtime and on-call possible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Help Maintenance Specialists understand and follow departmental processes.
- Aid Assistant Maintenance and Maintenance Manager with new hire training.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists.
- Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair and replacement.
- Ensure proper performance and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems within the building.
- Report all maintenance issues to Maintenance Manager.
- Maintain record of scheduled maintenance procedures.
- Perform custodial functions to clean and maintain the building both inside and outside.
- Assist with the management of outside contractors for required service for the facilities and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain quality control measures in accordance with state and local laws.
- Adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the facility and production areas.
- Immediately inform Maintenance Manager of any system discrepancies.
