The equipment includes brand new tracked Challengers and non-tracked New Holland tractors, pulling a new Ashland pan (scraper attachment). Additional projects may include grading for new building prep work.

Job Description
The scraper operator will be cutting to Grade. This means they will drive across the top of the earth and the scraper scrapes the earth up and into the holding bowl for removal or relocation. The goal is to even out and level the terrain for the Finish Dozer hands to fine grade to completion.
The work day will run from 6am-6pm Monday - Friday. Saturdays may also be required depending on work load and weather delays.
The Scraper hand will need to take accountability for the pre inspection and end day inspection of machine and report any concerns to management.

**Starting Pay $25+/hr PLUS $/hr shift differential**
**Available Shift: 1st and 3rd**
**Brief Summary**
The Looper Operator is responsible for maintaining a continuous strip of material between the uncoiler and the tube mill to enable a continuous operation. Duties include operation of an overhead crane and various other equipment for unloading and handling heavy coils of steel. The Looper Operator must be able to operate hydraulic systems and set up the entire driving system on the mill. The position will also assist the mill operator and cutoff operator as needed.
**Essential Functions**
+ Weld coils together to maintain a continuous strip of material between the uncoiler and tube mill in enable continuous process flow
+ Load/unload steel coils on a coil tree using and overhead crane
+ Use a tape measure and micrometer to ensure product meets all quality requirements
+ Provide assistance during set ups on the mill as needed
+ Maintain complete records of all coils used during the shift including width, gauge, pounds, and footage of each coil
+ Maintain a clean and orderly work area and operate the floor scrubber occasionally as time allows
**Required Qualifications**
+ 1-3 years of relevant work experience
+ Ability to read and write legibly
+ Ability to use decimals and fractions, converting both ways
+ Ability to operate a hand-held overhead crane
+ Able to operate a forklift and obtain a Valmont forklift license within 30 days
+ Able to lift ends of steel coils weighing up to 50 pounds
**Highly Qualified**
+ Experience with a stick welder, wire welder, strip welder, plasma cutter, or cutting torch
+ Experience operating a hand-held overhead crane

Hourly Rate: $20.91 an hour
The Carton Machine Operator is responsible for the following: operating, managing efficient operation of the cartooning equipment, facilitating the packing of finished product promptly, completing all required paperwork, and observing all safety regulations and ensuring GMP and quality standards are met.
Starting pay up to $0.91 per hour + Attendance Bonus! ( 0.50 for first shift and 0.60 for second shift)
You will be onsite at the facility located in Council Bluffs, Iowa. As a Carton Machine Operator, you will report to the operations team.
**Essential Job Functions:**
+ Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position
+ Comprehend written English.
+ Move up to 40 lbs.
**You Will:**
+ Obtain daily schedule and supplies needed for production
+ Complete required paperwork in English promptly
+ Perform safety check on equipment being used to ensure it is functioning properly
+ Maintain efficient operation of packing equipment
+ Ensure cases of carton blanks and glue chips are staged (numbers, versions on labels)
+ Fill carton magazine with stacks of carton blanks
+ Verify carton codes to ensure accuracy
+ Clear minor jams, reset and start equipment
+ Fill glue dispensers and label printers
+ Ensure good housekeeping (e.g., sweeping, mopping)
+ Participate in PM, drumbeat, and AM activities as assigned (varying start times)
+ Can read a work order and receive verbal instructions from supervisors/leads
+ May perform general labor tasks as assigned
**You Have:**
+ Understand the effects of product damage and loss
+ Knowledge of GMP's
+ Be LOTO certified
+ Work with pork, chicken, beef and shellfish products in addition to many other ingredients and allergens
+ Be PIT certified, by area
+ Submit work orders, by area
**Qualifications:**
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Minimum 3 months production or related experience required.
